Another lesser bug found: if a sleeper agent is a dog (might apply to all non-human characters) and gets ratted by another sleeper who got arrested, they will join the LCS but will keep their icon blacked out. This doesn't sound problematic but if you have a very large network it might be difficult to find out quickly who is in the shelter and has to be moved elsewhere.

Edit: this glitch gets cleaned up upon exiting and reloading the game.

Speaking of the first issue, it would be nice if you could also raid your own safehouse "for trouble" just so I don't have to wait for the CCS/mercenaries/the intelligence to raid my own safehouse so I can repaint its walls (kind of like what you can already do with the safehouses you can steal from the CCS)

Spotted two bugs during my run, although I must say it was on the b.16 bugfix3:
- If you have a raid (usually extrajudicial ones like the CCS or the Intelligence, haven't tried with a police raid) ongoing, that you make one siege breaker squad member wield a spraypaint can, exit the game and restart, then engage with that member, and then try to make a graffiti on a wall, the game will go back to the safehouse management screen and just skip the day; the siege is still in effect, nothing happens, it just skips the day.

- If you send a squad someplace, start a fight with dangerous enemies, and then the leader of the squad gets incapacitated but not killed (like by having their spine broken), the remaining members will hold duplicates of that person until they are all hauling someone, then the game will say that no one could haul the leader and he has to be left to be captured, which will effectively remove that member from the squad (happened while sending the squad to the Intelligence HQ and failed a sneak test).
I don't know what happens if you properly flee since I killed the game before that happening (it would have completely ruined my game), and I couldn't have a save of that since it wholly happened during an action.

Spotted a bug in Chapter 12 where if you surrend while teammates are transformed, they'll be stuck in their form for every battles onwards.

Spotted a bug in Chapter 8, if you try to go in the building near the metro station in the library area and take the stairs, you'll be stuck in an infinite loading loop (I wanted to test if the used underwear I just bought from Zane would work on other people). However it works fine if I take the elevator instead.

This game has a huge RNG issue, it's actually possible to advance, but the way the cards are shuffled everytime after each round gives a high chance to find 10 points cards which result in extremely frustrating situations - to the point players believe the game is rigged (it is not, it just has bad shuffle code);  overall I do not reccomend, there's bajillion games using strip mechanics that won't fill you with frustration and rage when you just wanted to rub one out real quick. But just in case you want to still go through the game, I'm writing down a short guide:

  • I can't find the blue "enter" button at the begining

This is because you're on chrome's private mode, for some reason the game do not like that; I know that most of you guys don't want to see this page appearing in your browsing history. Simple advice: if you plan on spending time on this game, either you go full in so the save is stored somewhere, or you better pass. Because for some reason this game requires quite the grinding to unlock everyone (I do not understand why the next opponent doesn't unlock right after beating the one before), and you cannot get it all in one night realistically speaking.

  • I lost all my money and now the game wants me to wait over an hour to get some back

So this is another game design point I absolutely do not understand, there's absolutely no reason for a cooldown to get some money back to exist, there's no pay2win alternative offered, there's no side game, nothing. This just exists to fuck over players.
The good news is that once you've unlocked the roulette, it's there forever given you refresh the page if you need to use it a second time per session, so you can run out of money as much as you like once you've waited the cooldown. And yes, the cooldown counts the time even if you weren't on the game in between.

  • There's no way to beat anyone in this game

There's actually a way to beat any rival, but you need first to forget how to (mostly) play blackjack.
First of all, remember that unless your opponent has $0 or lower in their payroll (stripped clothes are counted as negative 100 dollars), you can always bail the game if you feel like you fell short on your hand (read: if the game gave you anything that results in between 12 to 16) without any penalty and at anytime (even if you started drawing cards), and go back to find your opponent again with a payroll back to $100. There's absolutely no need to fight back your opponent if they have already taken like 500 bucks from you other than waste your time, especially if you have unlocked the money roulette.
Second of all, like I said, the game isn't rigged, it just has really really bad RNG mechanics. Since the whole deck gets entirely shuffled after each round, it means you always have a rough 30% chance of finding 10 point cards at each draw (that's quite a lot), not to mention that the AI follows a really strict way to operate (you can't bluff them), that means you need to assume that every hidden card is potentially a 10 points card and work around it, if you have 12 points or over, always check your opponent's hand before considering hitting. If they might get a high score, you may try hitting just in case it could get higher than their visible card +10; if they might get a lower score, then maybe you should rather stand and watch them potentially bust themselves. Consider that hitting while holding 15 or 16 points is pratically a guaranteed bust unless you get extremely lucky, and that 13-14 points aren't really safe to hit either but might get into question if your opponent might score a 19-20 and beat you anyways. Remember that you absolutely cannot bluff your opponent, like it's directly written on the board that they'll keep hitting until they reach above 17.

Hello, I happen to have the exact same issue as I play on Linux using Proton, reading the log it seems the game isn't allowed to create the save folder nor the savefile itself, probably because of authorizations. If you're on Windows try running the game as an administrator, on my side, since I don't know exactly why this game specifically cannot create folders when other running the same way can, I'm gonna try getting the files on my own see if it works.

UPDATE: Creating the "saves" folder and making three empty files inside named "save1.ser", "save2.ser", and "save3.ser" fixed the issue on my side, I haven't tried quitting and reloading the game yet but I hope this will not be an issue. It appears I am unable to write over my own save, something must be wrong with the game's permission :[ .

I kind of got both. Sometime I would raid a place that loots weapons, steal a gun and immediately assign it to a character, everything would go fine until I go back to the safehouse and I get a message like "clip(0123456) is not found and had to be destroyed", the gun remains loaded until I quit the game and start it back to find the gun empty, I haven't managed to reproduce this with guns I've found but haven't equipped to any character.
For the other instance, it's just that sometimes I would load a game and get a black screen, searching the log told me that it was because of some missing item, and I practically searched everyone's inventory in the save file to find out that some character would have clips in their inventory, but the item itself of the clips has disappeared from the save (and it happens often with .44 clips, although it also happened once with assault rifle clips). It happens mostly whenever the game saves following some safehouse raid.

I first thought it was because I have the bad habit of alt+F4'd the game whenever I do something stupid I didn't meant to that have dire consequences (like opening a door when there's conservatives around), but it happened once when I quitted the game using the "exit" button as intended (I just got the notification that one safehouse was being raided by either CCS or the Intelligence, forgot which but not the police). Plus I don't think I'm stopping the saving process this way considering that it would only save once my squad is back from whatever they've done and the next day starts?

I hope these clarifications helps.

Hey, I've found several bugs (I play on Linux) regarding clips that would disappear between saves, especially clips from found weapons that don't generate extra clips. Sometimes it would just corrupt my save and be unloadable until I open the save myself and find then re-add the disappeared clips by hand (usually it's a .44 speedloader but it can happen with really any clip). Do you know anything about it?

I'm having the exact same issue playing on Linux through Proton, I'll try reaching out too

I gotta ask, are Jack and Merv a nod to the band Tenacious D? Because I just saw them and...
The protagonist looking at the characters Jack and Merv, who happens to look like Jack Black and Kyle Gass from Tenacious D

It kind of clicked

7.0-1, works fine so far, I think it also worked with 5.0-10

Do you think you guys could work on a Linux port? I can run the game using Proton there, but I have issues with the fullscreen mode

Hey, any plans for porting this game on Linux?

Is a Linux port planned?

Dev said they removed the demo version as it had old bugs that were now fixed in the current version and people were starting to be unnecessary insulting in the comments because of that.

Oh I was going to ask the same question, fortunately I can still run the latest updates on my W7 partition but it would be much more comfortable if I could play on Linux

Hey, I would like to report however, that some denied basic packages gets me a fail, saying I should have put the Caraphone 2 inside (and putting a Caraphone 2 randomly in returned packages avoids getting a fail, though if I put a Caraphone in an empty package, the game then just crashes).

I also spotted a few typos, like Rwanda being written in all caps for no reasons in the valid countries database, or in Day 8 when the instructions presents you "Ignuzius the firework store from USA, and Ignuzius (instead of Kutsu) the shoes store from Japan".
