Very fun game! This is the first local co-op game I've seen in the jam and it's really cool that you made one. I'm usually the only who needs the buffs when playing against friends since they always beat me XD so I appreciate this! Great work on the art and tank controls, it felt nice to move around and shoot. My favorite upgrade is probably the one that makes you shrink. Especially when you're really fast, then you're like this tiny dot zooming around the map lol. Awesome work!

I enjoyed this quite a lot, even though the crab was pissing me off haha. It's a very solid interpretation of the limitation. That health bar barely moved even though I sank a ton of points into crit, damage, and attack speed! That's what happens when you're up against an OP enemy. Great work, you did a lot with the visuals, sound, and music to make a neat game :)
Neat shooter that's super easy to pick up and play. It seems like the collision on the player a bit smaller so that evading enemies is a little easier. If so, I like that. I was hoping to find more upgrades as I played to get a sense of being ridiculously overpowered. However, I felt pretty average while playing. I managed to get like 110 which isn't too bad! Eventually there are so many enemies and it's very difficult to get to a power-up that isn't swarming with them. Overall, solid foundation here which can definitely benefit by having more upgrade opportunities!
I agree that the hidden rooms only visible when you get close is really neat. I also like that you gate progress by requiring the boots so you can walk over the spikes. I did not get a sense of how you used the limitation in your game. You are running around collecting art and artifacts before exiting. If you added enemies or an ability which influenced the journey, that might be something to consider for future development. Congrats on the submission :)
I like the assets a lot. I'm not sure if I beat the game or not. I got a key, then later in the level the game over screen randomly popped up. The enemies levitate, and I'm not sure if this is intended or not. But it gets in the way of progressing and makes it impossible to get past them. In any case, this can be interpreted as being ridiculously overpowered, since the enemies effectively become walls, rendering your jump useless.
Also, you can jump on the shoulders of enemies and float out of the map. I had a hard time connecting this with anything in the game, but it was very entertaining.
First of all, you work at a cookie company?? That's awesome. Anyway, this was very pleasant to play. Simple and chill gameplay loop with no room for confusion. I made it to like floor 15 until I lost. I didn't mind too much, since it was starting to get repetitive by that point. Then, being launched out of the building was actually a neat surprise. I really like how you developed such a simple concept into a cute experience and story. I agree with the other comment about adding more variety with the lightning bolts at some point if you keep developing this. There's tons of room for expansion! Great work here :)
I appreciate you making the effort to have a Windows build available after some of us were experiencing issues. Awesome dev! As for the game, you definitely nailed the limitation. Being so powerful that you can destroy innocents and enemies alike really is similar to a weapon of mass destruction. Very creative execution here. The controls were quite easy, but the game is really difficult. I didn't mind it though, since handling a weapon of mass destruction isn't meant to be easy.
Bonus points for the visuals, I really love how the game looks!
This once peaceful suburban neighborhood is plagued by a cool guy with an IRON FIST! His enemies are no match for the cannon punches he delivers!
Did you really use paint for all of this? I really dig the art style, it has a nice vibe to it. It was fun having a punch so powerful I sent enemies flying out into the blue void. I'm glad you can't take damage and can just focus on running around and defeating enemies. Fun game!
OMG, you took the limitation and really went all out! That poor skeleton... Oh well, I had fun vaporizing it lol. I like that the skeleton moves around, because then I can go destroy it in isolation. But I still managed to do property damage even though I wasn't near any buildings, hmm. Overall, though, it's a great concept and definitely something I could see expanded into a larger game. Well done!
Ooooh, a PICO-8 game. You inspired me a lot with how you designed your player, enemies, and abilities. I just started using the PICO-8 so I can learn a lot from games like yours. I especially love the effect when you blow up an enemy. So cool! I felt pretty damn powerful after upgrading my weapon a few times, so great job using the limitation in that way. I do wish the collision for collecting pieces of the sky was more generous. Sometimes it felt like they passed right through me. But I know how collision can be with the PICO-8! Still, I had fun, great job on the game :)
This was pretty fun. I like how much your jump increases to really give it that sense of being ridiculously overpowered! Great use of music btw, it made the game feel like this dreamy adventure. I do wish the camera was even more zoomed out by default. I felt very blind but still wanting to gather as many power-ups as possible. This becomes easier later in the game, but I personally wanted more visibility sooner. I kept bumping my head! haha. Awesome job on the submission :)
This is super cute! I love when a game like this pops up, asking only that I use the mouse (fitting for a game with cats). It's a great chill incremental game. Sure, there are ways you can add some variety and more upgrades, but for a game jam I think this is an excellent concept and execution of the mechanics.
That being said, I was hoping for a bit more of the ridiculousness to come out near the end. The moment I unlocked the astronaut I felt super overpowered, but then the cost for unlocking more cats becomes so high you don't feel so powerful. So either lowering the cat price or increasing the rate/amount astronaut cats catch fish would immediately add a greater feeling of being more powerful.
Clean UI btw, I think you have the foundation of something really cool here that you can definitely take to other projects or build upon if that's your goal.
This is absolutely fantastic, and I hope you're proud of what you made. The puzzles are cleverly designed, but not too difficult as to become frustrating. I felt like you were being generous with the level layouts as a means to hint at the solution. Each time I had that a-ha moment it felt amazing! I want to play more levels haha. Excellent realization of the limitation, great work!
Scaling RAM in this economy?? Yeah, that's what I call ridiculously overpowered lol. This is super neat, I've never played anything like it. I was also pretty bad at it, and seeing the other comment about readability is relatable. I was still able to use my abilities and clear enemies. Then it got pretty crazy with so much malware, but I think that was your goal. Overall, I enjoyed playing! Well done :)
This is so impressive... I sat in the main menu screen mesmerized by the falling dice. I promise I did also play the game, but I got distracted by all the buttons. You made such a comprehensive menu in a short amount of time, but it still feels minimalist and functional. One small QoL thing I really like is that your session is saved even if you return to the main menu.
The addition of special dice is a fine ingredient to make rounds more interesting. I enjoyed how it changes the gameplay, and the sounds that play when you get certain combos is satisfying. Excellent work!
Yup those were definitely some cute slimes. The sound effects were very poppy and adorable, but the music was a closer to reflection to how I felt on the inside while playing. It gets intense! I didn't feel like it was too difficult, though. Which is nice. I managed to clear it on my second run (thankfully). I also like how you didn't use any upgrades to communicate power scaling. It seemed more like the slime explosion radius increases with each level, taking out more slime with each kill. That was super satisfying.
Fun game! We definitely need more cute slime games in the world.
This game really makes you feel like a superhero in a movie. More specifically, I felt like an action figure superhero haha. The VFX explosions are my favorite part. The boss fights did get a bit repetitive after encountering the fifth one. I was hoping for more variation at that point. Also, the Ion Mother's projectiles were too small. That's an easy fix, though. I did feel powerful as hell with that huge laser beam coming out of my face!
I had a a lot of fun, and it brought back memories of playing with action figures :) Great work!
I like what I played. It felt like a slowed down version of Hotline Miami. The limited visibility does a lot to create tension, which is really cool. After I died, I wasn't able to start a new game unfortunately. Every time I spawned there was an enemy on top of me that seemed to insta-kill me :(
Despite the bugs, you made something pretty damn cool!
This is really cool. I've never heard of 2048 before so I looked it up. Going to have to try it out, since I find this type of game oddly relaxing even though there's combat and monsters. I'm not really good at the game, but the loop is chill and straightforward. I didn't feel any sense of being overpowered, everything felt quite balanced. still, awesome game! :)
I love a good mining game. I enjoyed just using my pickaxe honestly haha. However, you utilize the Rope Shot and Drill Shot well. I've personally never played a mining game with puzzle elements like this, where you have to be more intentional with how you use your tools. The O2 mechanic elevates the puzzles, adding a sense of urgency to each level.
While the Mega Drill is overpowered relative to your tools, the progression leading up to it made it feel less overpowered and more a product of ingenuity on the player's part. In that sense, and in the context of the mine, it lost the ridiculousness, you know what I mean?
Not that it matters too much honestly, I had fun with it and was always so relieved to unlock the Mega Drill!
I'm surprised I haven't seen more incremental games like this. They are perfect for the limitation, and well executed here. It was nice to max out all the equipment and crank up the auto clicks so I could sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor. I wanted to see how far I could take it! I made it to infinity :) Great work on the game!
Very challenging but also satisfying once you know how to solve a level. Knowing how doesn't guarantee you'll win, though... I learned that countless times lol. You can tell how thoroughly handcrafted each level is, leaving little room for error. I appreciate that. I couldn't put it down even though I was RAGING. It was worth it.
