I really did enjoy this game! Amazing work ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Superb game! Awesome job!  ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Did you guys ran on energy drinks for 4 days straight cuz this is awesome! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Thank you Peachu! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Hi I love your art style and the game overall. It was good after looping through a few rounds to grab those powerups for the turtle! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

This is a really fun game to play! Congrats! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Never in my life I thought I'd play Snake Xenzia, in a dog format, and get addicted as well! Awesome job!  ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

This is a really cool concept, I think when moving left the lap doesn't get registered until you go around twice, but other than that little bug, its a really cool one and as you loop things get interesting really fast! Love it!  ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Heyo, ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ I really really love the narrative! It's really amazing, and I love 4th wall breaks like that. Ah in the game, it would be best if you showed the button as disabled when the narrator was speaking. Or you could have it enabled, and the player could keep on clicking whilst the narrator is speaking, and the narrator could just straight up lose patience and would lock the button (disable it) since you weren't listening to his speech. Quirky little suggestion I know, but could make the game more interactive! Also, consider having short levels otherwise people won't stay long in your game (best to have plane game under a min, and the dune walking one not an eternity) , if it gets boring, unless you have a superinteractive narrator!

No of course not! I really wanted good and critical feedback like you gave me, so I can improve better next time! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Hi there! As a person who has never really played rhythm games, it was really hard to identify the underlying beat, even with the enemies bopping to it! I wish there was a better visual cue, or a way to reduce the music on top for it as a setting. However, I love that you created your own music and your own animations and sprites for the game! It makes me super happy to see people being creative with their own styles! Best of luck!  ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Hello, it's a cool little game, I wish there was the ability to turn bloom off since it was a bit distracting. Otherwise, it's really fun and creative!  ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Hi Lily! Thank you so much for the lengthy response! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ Yeah, understandable, it's not the most polished one out here. But at the same time, I only had the weekend to work on it, so I'm happy with how much I managed to finish at least within 48 hours! I didn't have much time to change the placeholder assets in the level, even though I was planning for a silly little sprite character, the one I drew and as you can see in the main screens I was planning on having.

Regarding the level, yeah I ended up haphazardly placing them, because when testing I also noticed the level areas had control issues, so I had to manage on it being playable and short within the time frame. I also was planning on having some music, and a little storyline as well, but I ran out of time on that as well. Thank you for your suggestions though! I'm happy you played it and had a go at it and even managed to finish it off!

Hey! Not the most original concept this time, but thanks a lot for trying it out! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Haloooo! Thanks a lot for trying it out! Yeah, the concept isn't the most original, and I didn't have all that time to replace the placeholder assets I kept, but hey, that's what a jam is!  ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Hi! Dev here!

Thanks for the feedback! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ Yes, there are some bugs. This mainly happened because after designing the map there was an issue with the player having the ability to break the boundaries. I had to therefore remap the entire thing within the jam's time frame, and didn't had the ability to fix some bugs I encountered.

I understand that there are issues with the roads not being properly visible, that was something I learnt. Value your feedback and thanks for taking your time to post this!

Thanks!! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧

Congrats on your first game!

I love this game. At first I had an issue where I can just press E to repeatedly horn whenever wherever, and I was like "this ain't hard, I just have to press E every 10 seconds or something" but then upon restarting is when I realized "Oh wait, that was a bug, now I'm playing an actual challenge lol"

Fun game but had issues with not being able to see the hot winds properly

I luv this. So simple and casual. For me it was not laggy in the browser at all!

Polished game, adorable concept!

I see. Thanks. This was my first time participating in a gamejam, but thanks for playing.
Appreciate it! ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
(And yes, there are some bugs left to squish in the game)
(Also edit - this post was posted 2 days ago, I saw your message but couldn't react since my account was too new and Itch had put it for hold for sometime, preventing me from posting anything!)
I rated and played yours also!

Hi, you need to fix the issue on the fullscreen. I had this same issue in my game during publish, and ended up choosing massive screen sizes to fix these errors. What you should do is

1. disable the "Enable fullscreen option" given by itchio. This doesn't fix the issue and makes the problem worse, so disable it.

2.Instead, for the game size, choose custom and give bigger dimensions to a size where you can see the blue icon which is a different fullscreen button given by unity to enable actual fullscreen. (If you're hesitant in given custom sizes, enable "Scroll bars" setting given by itchio.

3.Try now. I had same issues as the others, not being able to play the game at all. Its a shame all that work is going to waste just because of a browser issue. Good luck!

Super Duper Creative

Very cool idea, took some time to understand what was even happening lol

Music, art, and creativity is through the roof but had lots of trouble understanding the magic system
