I totally get where you’re coming from. It’s frustrating to see the industry stuck in a loop of ‘Drunken Dwarf’ tropes while other rich fantasy archetypes, especially Elves, are pushed to the background or treated as mere side characters. 10 years of the same aesthetic—beards, axes, and underground mines—can definitely lead to burnout. The irony is that while devs think they are playing it safe with a 'proven' race, they are actually alienating a huge chunk of players who are craving the grace, magic, and unique storytelling that an Elf-centric game could provide. We’re definitely overdue for a high-budget, immersive Elven RPG
