I am expanding on the food and effects part of the game for Cheddar v2 and seeing how I can make that a more strategic part of the experience.

Thank you for the great feedback! I agree it would be a lot of fun as a head-to-head race, and it was out of scope for the time-frame, but I'm thinking an enemy in the maze with you like a cat or something would add some tension. :)

Eat snacks, poop to mark your path, and find a way to escape the maze! 

CHEDDAR was created for a 10-day Game Jam and is my first game I've been brave enough to show the public. Only free assets were used, and no generative AI. There are 4 mazes to work through including the tutorial - the time constraints made adding lots of content tricky - but I think I'll add some more if people like it. :)
