Thank you!

Loved it!

Nice gameplay loop that is easy to understand in a few seconds. Adds a unique touch to regular shooters with the flashlight mechanic.

The lose sequence kind of reminds me to FNAF 1, with the music box playing while you wish for 6 AM to come.

Good job!

Thanks for you kind words!

Could you develop a bit more what you mean by "a few levels that had errors"? Just so I can improve them post-jam.

I'm glad you found the character charismatic!

Thank you for playing my game!

¡Gracias!

Good job!

Gameplay was fun and addictive. You really nailed the game feel part, although some audio work would be a great addition to add some more impact. Plus, I'd recommend increasing difficulty over time, since once you get the hang of it, it's easy to survive infinitely.

Other than that, great entry!

Good work! Fun game, easy to understand in a few seconds and an addicting gameplay loop. Loved it!

This one was good! I could definitely spend hours playing.

I really love the unique touch you added to the genre by using souls and gateways.

Good job!

I don't usually like these types of games but I was really invested into this one! The story is great, I really loved that you made a game to deal with grief, I think it adds a very personal touch to it and you can sense that when playing.

Multiple endings in a jam game is amazing, I replayed the story several times to get more!

Good job!

Thank you! I usually go for a bit more serious type of games and I wanted to try something a little different. I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing!

Thanks for such kind words! I don't know if I should keep working on this game, so these comments are very encouraging!

What a great entry.

I could definitely see this becoming a full comercial release. Really good concept and fantastic execution.

Good job!

Loved it!

Very nice that you added some tutorial levels. The puzzle design is great too. Also the visuals and music are fantastic.

Overall a very solid entry! Good stuff.

Really had a fun time! The game looks very polished.

My only suggestion would be to make the paths thicker, because it's a bit hard to turn around corners sometimes.

Overall a very nice entry. Great job!

Thanks for such a deep comment, these are the ones I like the most, because they help make the game a lot better!

I see you were a bit confused in the game overall, that one's on me. I know an in-game tutorial would have been great, but I didn't have the time. It's all explained in the description but I'll sum it up real quick so you don't have to go back.

The bar on the top is actually the energy bar. If you press space, you become invisible and can go through walls, but it is limited by this energy. You can regain it by scaring the person.

As for how you make progress, once the person's fear level reaches 30%, they call the hunter. Then you have to keep scaring the person without being caught. At around 50% fear level, the person's face becomes worried so you know you're doing it right. Once it hits 95% they flee and you win!

Sorry for the ambiguity and thank you for playing!

Thanks for your word! I'm glad you got the point of the game!

Those antennas are sensors the hunter places in order to detect you even in invisible form, they are placed when you spam the same kind of scare multiple times near the same place. They're just some kind of balancing system so they aren't really that important.

Yes, I have been suggested a scoring system. I'll update it post-jam!

Thanks for playing!

Loved it!

That's great stuff. Noted!

Thanks for trying the game out!

There are actually two other ways to scare the person: by turning invisible and then appearing in front of them, and by turning lights on and off (I wanted to make an in-game tutorial of this but in the end I was only able to put it in the description).

If you liked the game, I'm considering adding other ways to scare people like moving objects and possessing people. If more people think the concept has potential I'll update it for sure.

Cheers!

Thanks for your kind words! Another tester suggested this idea during development process and it was actually in my "to do" list, but didn't really have time to add it.

Do you have any ideas to make the game more fleshed out?

Loved it! The art and parallax kind of reminds me of Hollow Knight in some way. Very cool concept and music!

Hey! I just released my little spooky game!

You play as a ghost trying to scare people out of the house. But be careful, the hunter will try to capture you!

I would love to hear your feedback and cool ideas, it helps out a ton!

You can play it for free: https://mangourrolo.itch.io/not-a-ghost-game

I'll stay tuned, then!

What a nice cute minigame! One way you could make it better might be to make sheep appear randomly, because once you're close to the end, it's very easy to keep track of how many sheep there are.

Loved the art style and SFX! Great work!

Very cool concept! Too bad it's not longer. Art looks great, sound effects are very nice and the controls feel great. Good job!

Loved it! Some of the colliders didn't really work, so to improve it, I would start there. Besides that, it's a cool concept. Great job!

Although it looks like a prototype (which is very fun, considering you had such little time to put it together), the concept is great.

The idea is phenomenal, the puzzles are very well designed and the music is fantastic (some more variety would be great).

I think this game has a lot of potential. Good job!

Very interesting concept! Although, a nice way to improve it might be to explain more why you would want to press shift, I didn't quite get it.

The art style has tons of personality! Nice work!

Loved it! I spent quite a long time playing without realising. One small thing, though: once I got the promotion, the whole level went dark and no enemies spawned. Is this a bug?

Really addictive gameplay and simple art. The music is great, by the way. Good job!

Glad you enjoyed! I thought this concept hadn't been too explored before so I gave it a try. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, many people noticed the same bug, I will be fixing it in future updates!

Nice work, especially considering only one person worked on it. I think some more sound effects would really add to the experience, but overall it's a great entry for the jam.

Love the art style!

I had a fun time playing your game! The models look very good, too bad it's just three levels! A nice way you could make it better might be to add sound effects, it would really make the game more impactful.

Good work!

Loved it! I found it kind of relaxing just going around searching for spiders.

A nice way you could improve it could be by adding sounds if you're near spiders so it isn't just blind exploring.

Very cool concept. Love the art, by the way!

Thank you! I really put some thought into making a creative concept that really gave risk a lot of importance.

Thanks for your kind words! I recently got a bit into game art so I'm not very good at it, I'm glad you loved Mr. Isky!

Loved it! I managed to get to the last floor but lost all my coins with the safest option. I love the feeling of risk every time you choose a bet, although I almost always chose the safest one.

Good job!
