i know projects like this are massive and in comparison to other easier more mass producable art assets, but this could be combined with a dark series version of the mech but a  horizontal upgrade pack, this is exactly the asset i was after but the lack of horizontal animations has stopped me purchasing, i wouldnt be opposed to purchasing this and a horizontal upgrade pack. food for thought. ps thinking about it a horizontal mech would be more desired overall, as it can still fit in the stranded series due to animation shenanigans and into your dark series

you literaly just described whats Editing free assets means. also these pictures dont really show that there in 3d they just look like you've inported a flat image into 3dmax, you dont show improvement on the already free asset and is clearly an attempt to profit from other free work. please show your 3d module from any other angle than top veiw otherwise its just a flat 2d image import job, that isnt worth 4 pounds GBP . if other people see this the origianl art is free by Foozle.

i used to use just the flip feature built into godot  aka sprite.set_flip_h(true) but alot of my character bodies has adopted

scale.y = -1 

rotation = deg_to_rad(-180)

else:

scale.y = 1 

rotation = deg_to_rad(0)

i just havnt used it on uncentred animation, but sprite.set_flip_h(true)  doesnt care for offsets or pivot points because it just flips the sprite, will have a play around with your method. im not very good coding or doing game dev, its just a hobby i take enjoyment in,
my salty attitude is only becasue i was waiting for an asset like this one. and want to use it in my never to be released project lol

the problem is testability its just so much easier to test squared animations, but will test this code out at some point

just needs to be squared, for easier animating, sqaure canvas, godot probaly allows offset shenanigans in scripts but justs gets messy, even with outscripts keyframing the centre also require work,  sqaureed frames with sprites in the centre are universial plug and play. annd thats easier to do in the creation of the art, even try to see if i could salvage the aseprite bute nah. maybe its easier in unity or unreal but in godot its just so much easier for animating than having centred aniamtions, code whizzes and game programing savants maybe know haow to do it in godot too,  , but dumb blondes playing around with godot after work   thats not in the industry, its just not accessible . as a hobbyist.

really, uncentred animations , requiring hours of editing to get in godot, so disapointed, not worth my time, how hard is to under stand centred animations. on a centred canva's, with your lack of updates on old assets and re-occuring issues like this i can honestly say this just pixel art now, un worthy of a game project for a hobbyist who has way to much to do than re arrange single frames on a centred canvas.

This guys is dripping in " last boss" energy. That tranformed attack where it turns into a maw is amazing thats gonna be his insta death boss attack. My project where i use these guys i havent really decided if im gonna use the tranformatiins as seperate bosses . Only the valkryie keeps her tranformation as its just to bloody good

hotdamn... this is amazing, instant purchase, haha the jump can be used as a belly bounce attack. 

yeah becasue the pack gets a little more expensive as he adds to it, i think it used to be 12.99 at one point, 

desperate for the mad butcher to have walk and attack animations

great addition, ive brought your bundle in the past and have the other inquisitor asset , im using your old asset for the inquistor, the smaller pixel one for a test project , but would pay an extra fee if the maleficarum version, was to get some of the animations from the previous characters you did,  a pistol draw and shoot, and maybe a sort of magic hammer attack or spell cast attack. would be amazing.

omg yes yes yes, awesome dude, so happy the stranded series is expanded, will be getting the skull bandits pack as well eventually but still coding the 4 directional dark monstor pack. brought this on the spot mind you, any veichle for the stranded series is insta buy, though a humanoid mecha aka inspired by gundam over mech warrior would also be insta buy 

well chuffed, the sale meant that it was only a dollar extra for my mistake, so i got your werewolf sprite as well, now the hard part of getting them in a project , im thinking of  buying the knuckle duster girl of yours who isnt an elemtal, and tryng to edit the werewolf so its her transformation,sort of flesh and bone elemental lol, your stuff is inspiring

Its my own fault really i was too eager.... lesson learnt i dont feel right about refunds as ive already downloaded the product

damn i bought the wrong pack human only pack. in my giddy eagerness.......does itch.io remeber if ive already bought the first pack or do i need to buy 12 dollar pack fresh to get the transformation. obviously will pay full price for human and tranformation.. that sneak peek looks great

omg so hyped its exactly how i imaged it would be, the animations are awesome, the attacks are varied ,... best transformation of all the elementals to boot,,,  it really is christamas. thank you so much

this is one of best tilesets ive seen, but there in lies the problem the quality is so good, it kind of mismatched with other tilesets gathered from itch that ive had to pixelate it a little to match, the crispness of these tiles is just amazing. if you expand on this tileset, dungeon undergrounds or sewers id pay good money

i dont mean to diminish your effort but recolors of already available assets are really only going to bloat the servers, its easy recoloring  assets in the game engine with modulate or self modulate and its also pretty easy with gimp or other apps

again I'm sorry for being that guy but if I was to release all the recolored assets I've made it would amount to 100s of files,  please consider if the community is enriched by your contributions or if its just data bloat.

the assasin needs your stranded treatment, desperate for that little fellow to have four facing

these are really good, the stranded project i have atm is pretty much 90% of your stuff

this is one of the best designs in the stranded series, just wish it had a true south facing, to be consistent with the dark hero and the other hero. feels like a waste to have that cool armoured fist and not have some attack anim with it.
despite that once i work out how to code that grenade attack in godot , i will defo pick this up

its actully easier moving the sprite sheet a few pixels to the right in gimp (about 8 to 10ish), then cleaning up the side attack animation, by removing a few pixels of the slashing animation so they dont leak into the next frame, instead of keyframing new offsets for each animation in the game engine.

i am using them in a isometric way, please continue to support isometric, your art is amazing,

its easier to just move the entire sheet about 10 pixels to the right. then to edit the right facing attacks to not overlap in the next frame than it is setting pivots in editors, had to delete and smoth off some of the slassh right animation, and still moving around thos same animations at the moment to get the centre.

as hobbyists its vital sprites are centred on a canvas with equal pixel size. as the time it takes to get them ready is on par with using homemade assets.

also the slash attack for the right facing frames is missing 2 frames, compared to the other facings

i really like the imagery of the dude wth yellow, just wish he had similar animations to experiment 6.

can you preview more of the animations please just recently discovered your work  , been burnt before buying sprites. your style is unique and i am liking your content but i just cant bring myself to spend money when you only preview 3 animations out of 20. and tbh idle, walk and run do not showcase the identity of the art or allow developers to decide if the attack anims fit there current project

unique animations and attack animations for me are the most important . 

honestly  if there were better previews i would of probably purchased the bundle.

honestly i brought just for the unique rat enemy as its just such a unique art style akin to a league of legend brutish twitch and the multi directional beholder is gonna be a boss in a rts surivor horror project but my god its ttrove of terrain goodies. the fog is beyond my knowledge base currently being a hobbyist to implement in godot but its amazing non the less. 


the tiled support is way beyond me at this point but is a great way to get us hobbyist to learn further,

really like your golem in another pack , hint if you made a sort of mecha version of that golem and a multi direction mecha knight akin to a sheild and sword gundum(though loosy inspired mind you) i would throw money at you. a sort of ancient tech pack would be amazing

hate to say it but the offsets are slightly off again due to the dash attack,, if i put this in a sprite sheet maker, the dash attack isnt centred there's more space in each frame in the direction ofv the dash , your newer work like the demon samura is absolutly fine offsets are great, the best way i can describe it in animations that have motion , shouldnt actualy move in the frame, movement should be handled by the game engine during the animation is playing.  basicaly flip your sprits the feet should always align is a simple test, for reasonable offset,

you dont need to delete the dust effect though just making the dash attack having equal pixel space both side of each frame canvass to flip correctly, even if that pixel space is just transparancy, then having all other frames have that same canvas size .

amazing art but in terms of game designing it feels an unusual choice of directions

fingers crossed your working on  a demon army or dragonfolk with dragons lol. what seperates these is theres just noting like them, theres alot of mini sprites on itch.io but yours has such good animations and greater detail due to your outlining skills. thats where the problem lies, im desperate for you to release more armies and perhaps an upgrade to each army. im sure your mad busy, good job anyway

please make this a 4 directional like the stranded series, instant buy then,

the quality of these are insanely good,  to me isometric veichles are rare,  if you did a futuristic tank pack exactly like this one but with your own designs, maybe a walker and a vtol, it would be epic, i would instant buy,

amazing quality but needs walk and death animations, then would be premium.

i dont see how different sized enemies makes it more difficult,  just use sprite 2d with an animation player and keyframe the collision shapes in the animation player,


failing that you can always scale the sprites in the game engine

its a pain but you can keyframe the off set in animation player, as long as its in spritesheet form.

omg gives me chills, could you perhaps do some vehicles, mech walker, pickup truck and isometric tank, an rts game in your art style would be so good
