Yes unfortunately we’re experiencing some technical problems with this current version but hey thank you for giving it a try! Soon when the rating period is over we’ll upload the fixed version as well as a Mac-downloadable version (if you’re still interested to try out)!

Thạn you so much! We're glad you liked it! Unfortunately we ran out of time to implement more intractable features haha, was aiming for a day-night cycle like Paper Please! as well.  We'll definitely expand on that in later versions, thank you for playing our little game!

Thank you for the feedback! we'll definitely fix that when we got the chance to. Glad that you ẹnoyed the game, thank you for playing!

The story bit at the start did really well in setting up/ introducing the gameplay mechanics, it was easy to get an idea of what to expect and what to do. The rewinding/ moving mechanic is a clever idea, I was having some trouble with clicking/ moving to a falling piece despite the item being highlighted in a few of the level so it wasn't so smooth sailing (but then again that could be my skill issue also). Fun game.

Simple yet fun to play. The artstyle looks so good, I was surpised when the cat jump out and tried to pet it loll

The game is challenging but not impossible, so it's a good balance! The story did well in bounding us to a sense of urgency alongside the count downs, like something so important is at stake so I was super locked in hahahaha. The ending makes it worth it. good play.

Thank you for your kind words! Yes you're right the countdown is quite forgiving at the moment, we did plan to increase the energy cost and expand the character pool to up the difficulty, but ran out of time so it's now in the expanded version! Thank you for giving this little game a try!

that was partially it! tried to get the intro in right before the deadline and man does it costs. I checked out yours and it has such a clever combat system, what a shame the bug prevents people from experiencing it fully :(. If you're patching it up after the Jam lmk, I love deck building games with fresh mechanics

spiritual successor sounds like a funny cover for that setting hahaha I'm all for it!

Nooooo 😭 we’re so sorry it must’ve wasted so much of your time 😭

We’ll definitely get the fixed version uploaded as soon as the Jam’s over. Thank you so much for your patience and interest, rated or not, we really appreciate it when you’re willing to give our love child a try! Have a good day wherever you are and have a fun Jam!

This game taught me that I won't have a promising future as a drummer lolll

This game is so fun and addicting to play!! After maybe like 4 tries I managed to get everything except the meditation minigame haha. I wish I could complete my new year resolution that fast.

I appreciate the funny yet somewhat realistic (?) take on a lot of the resolutions/ minigames. Like my literal words running away from me when I try to get a date... or my blackhole of a mouth absorbing food I wasn't suppose to eat LOL. Creative!

The game felt super polished, like you could publish it tomorrow polish. I wouldn't have guess it was made only in 96hrs 0-o. Amazing effort to everyone on the team!!! Thank you for such a lovely game.

This is so cute and addicting!!!!!

Thank you for your kind words. We're so glad you enjoy it! <3

That transition from the tutorial was SICK. And Amy coming in saving the day with the three consecutive grenade is badass af  🤣

That limited colour palette and block colouring art style really does ties this whole spy theme together, the sfx choices was just the cherry on top. The minigames with countdowns into a thriller action VN is just *chefs kiss*. Really include us players into the hurry scenes there, makes it super engaging to play! And somehow it reminded me of the days I used to binge the whole Shift Heads series... i think it has that same kind of fun urgency.

The countdown was slightly too forgiving imo. If it was just a bit shorter the countdown would have pull so much more attention and hence have more pressure to it. But that's pretty nick-picking stuff because the overall game experience is great. Would love to see more!!!

OMG thank you for the thoughts that you put into this comment!!! Imma keep it short because moon have covered pretty much what I wanted to say as well. But yes! the KPI is lore-related :wink wink: (we're thinking of continuing development to expand the game).

You've pretty much captured the essence of it! "The harder decisions cost more to make. If they were easy, they would already be made." This is such a beautiful line. Some decisions cost more because it reflects the level of 'care' you're giving to the guest, and when the guests are venting their (needed) emotional exhaustions, it affects you as well whether you likes it nor not (Hence the "hidden cost" in moon's comment)

It does makes our effort worth it to see people enjoying our love child, with or without the ratings. Thank you once again.

We have a Mac version readily available (with all the bug and dialog fixed), I'll notify you when it got uploaded (after the jam is over ofc) if your friend is interested!

(damn thats not very short LOL)

Saw this game in the jam's discord and immediately got hooked by the cute guy on the thumbnail! Had such a fun gameplay experience which only ended by my continuous skill issue in catching the damn bug. 10/10 would rcm. I hope Roadkill get rich so we get more fun games like this!

The soldier system is such a clever way to include the Jam's theme into turn-based combat systems, Just a perfect mix being able to control them by pressing R and rng from enemy's attack.

It's so 80s I love it!!!!! The difficulty curve is a bit steep straight from the start but it's awesome that you build a multiplayer game for the Jam lolllll

Art style is gorgeous! The isometric 2D style really have that Supergiant Games feels. Gameplay is smooth and the fact that there's even a dating mechanic is just the cherry on top! Time as resources in general is such a cool concept. I hope this get expand further, WELL DONE!!!!

I love a game with simple mechanic yet scratches your brain when playing like this one. The theme is implemented really well, it's really relevant in the game especially when you're always thinking of ways to make these numbers go down. Nice.

super fun gameplay and so much creative solutions!!!! the visuals look great with those 8-bit classic game feels. i love small games like these. perfection!

Saw this game in the discord channel and immediately got hooked by the art.

GAMEPLAY DID NOT DISSAPPOINT. IT'S SO GOOD.  EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD I HOPE THIS BLEW UP.

THE ART, THE AUDIO, THE GAME MECHANICS???

This is such a creative take, both on the theme and the concept of the game in general. I really hope you guys blew up. For a 4 days Jam this same is POLISHED.

(also the babies falling down... I'm so curious on this world. What are we? What is Jim?? I need more levels. Endless, even)

simple game, not too much creative direction with the theme  but quite fun with the door mechanics. the disoriented doors got me bumping into more walls then i'd like to admit...
would love to see more door mechanics and potentially randomise the door's location for replay potentials

got a few good laugh with the moon and snail zooming haha. the timer screen and audio got a conditioned reaction out of me. good games

What a fun experience. The game is well made, the constant switch between  healing and dealing dmg really makes it felt like time management and finding a work-life balance irl.

Audio guy cooked btw

Omg everything's going downhill for us isn't it...

Such a creative way to tell a story, really knows how to capture my attention with the mail and text reading. I'm super curious now how the story progress hhhhh (And idk what exactly to feel about this David guy). Whoever's doing assets cooked so hard for a 4 days Jam. Love the tiny interactive app windows so much, especially the camera and paint app haha. Wish there were more to do on the desk once we zoom out tho. Maybe a bit of dialog or more story hints.

Took a little time to understand the gameplay mechanics because some of the text were cut off, but the idea is quite creative, I like the storytelling. Congrats on completing the first jam entry!

This is such a clever mechanic for a game, enjoyed it very much! Even the pausing and grabbing mechanic is well done and I really like the little confused dialog of the enemy guys. :))))

There's an infinite time glitch when you stand aside a wall and just press left there while not moving. But overall sick idea, a lot of potential

Heya thank you so much for the heads up! It really helped us narrowing down the cause!!

We've opened up older versions. Please feel free to try the Window’s 3.0 version if you’re experiencing crashes after the intro video in 4.0 :(

3.0 does not have the intro!

Hey thank you for the notice! May I know which platform you're playing on?

We've notice the web version on mobile is struggling with loading the game's assets, happens 2/3 times and we still haven't found the culprit TToTT (suspecting low memory on web tabs)

For now I'd rcm downloading the window version for the best chance, or reloading/opening new tab on a desktop web. Thank you for giving it a try and reporting the issue either way! Really appreciate it!!

Amazing work!
