No problem, I had already created a set of addons for Blender to create materials from a selection textures, so I can quickly manually apply them, and then export them for Godot.

(1 edit)

Hey man, when I import them into Godot, none of the textures are applied, and when I import them into blender, I can see that none of the materials actually have textures on them. This is for the Industrial pack - not sure if it is the same with others.
I noticed that the individual packs come with the blender file, but these don't (at least, the industrial pack does not). If I could get those in the file, I could fix them up quickly myself, cheers :)

I already purchased the hospital, but was just wanting to buy them all at once (since there is no cart in itch). I think all your stuff together right now costs about $16, that's with the 50% discount on the two bigger packs, so $12 for a complete set would seem like a good price, or you could do one of the itch bundles, which gives a bundle discount but takes into account items I already own.

Yeah, or the blend file with materials applied so I can just export them myself :) I was just going to manually create materials in Blender and export them for use in Godot, but if you could just export them with a default material (I can sort out variants), that would be fantastic.

Hi Amos,

Is there a reason none of your models are actually textured? The textures are there, but when you load them in Godot or even import them into Blender, they have no materials.

Are you able to export them as GLB with materials embedded? I don't want to use your Godot project (the assets are set up oddly, with a resource that assigns textures etc).

IS there a bundle where I can purchase all of your PSX stuff at once?

Purchased, thanks :)

Do you have a complete pack so I don't have to purchase all your PSX assets separately? Thanks :)

You should consider making the level smaller, and if possible have more levels. Loading into one big level can be overwhelming, but smaller focused levels (even 2x2 small or 3x3) is more interesting to explore.

You need to update your resolution in itch. Probably 1152x648. You should also test it yourself next time, because this is unplayable because you can't see any buttons.

Try and export again but change the resolution to 1152 x 648 and add a fullscreen option in itch

I started playing, and forgot I had loaded Dune Awakening, and the intro music and voice over started playing, and I thought it was from your game for about 20 seconds.

Do you buttons on the title actually work?

Have made lots of progress but none is reflected in this version. I also plan to make the music streamable so that the filesize is much smaller.

Looks promising.

The flyer says 18th July, but this is due in 8 days!

What are the controls?

Important : If people only read this page, they won't see any instructions, so you might need to add them here or as a tutorial/loading screen info.

Basically - you need to have steam open and running in order to play multiplayer as it uses the steam networking api.

Cheers, was confused thanks

Am I stupid, or does the base set only have 4 models in it? Two straight roads, a traffic cone and a lamp? I thought it was meant to have 40+

Jumping is really hard

2nd level nearly impossible. Might be impossible

You can throw objects through walls if you get too clos

It's criminal this game ranked below some of the others, especially since it got the highest number of rankings. Good effort guys.

Sega Is Still Cool With Sonic Fan Games, Provided "No Profit Is Involved" | Nintendo Life

Sega Is Mostly Okay With Sonic Fan Games - IGN

Sonic the Hedgehog Fan Games Are Mostly Allowed By Sega (screenrant.com)

Sega provides greenlight for fan-made Sonic titles "so long as no profit is involved" (nme.com)

We did the research, SEGA has a very leniant stance on fan games, and this is within their boundaries. They generally encourage fan games and even brought independent devs on staff to develop their games (Sonic Mania started as a fan game).

Actually, the button is there, but it only shows in fullscreen on my ultra wide monitor - anyone playing on a standard 1080 monitor will not see the button unfortunately. You should use containers and anchors so it adjusts to all screen sizes.

There is no button, even in full screen mode.

Got any gameplay videos? Not keen on a 2.7GB download

The game works fine, just takes a few seconds to load. However, it's extremely laggy. Is there a downloadable option? Did you test it in the web browser?

Did you forget to update it. The version here is very old?

One of the most complete games I've seen. Great work!

Shouldn't be this laggy with jolt physics. Try deactivating the physics when they aren't in use. Also, use time slicing for your path finding, because I suspect that this is updating the path for each enemy every frame. You could do it 10 times a second instead and the FPS would probably jump up

Is there a version where the sprites are not scaled up 3 times?

it froze when I collected first pag

Thanks for reply. I am currently using the 8 bit stuff, so I will work with that. If I eventually release my game, I may be able to use the 16 bit stuff in a sequel. Thanks.

What assets are you currently working on. Just wondering whether I keep going with the 8bit retro, or whether you will have some 16bit Mega drive style tilesets and characters available soon :)
