its been quite a while now and i was really hoping to those who play to give input and such for the game we made Project Eclipse. https://luckodastars.itch.io/icarus-eclipse

we are looking for more feedback but it doesn't seem that anyone is doing that. i have given a good amount of feedback to other games i have played, but was hoping the same courtesy. i would really like some more feedback please so we can improve for the future

I Enjoyed the gameplay and the idea of using shapes as the travel method is very smart gameplay. though there are some areas where being a certain shape softlocks you out of the game unless you quit. if you can find a way to solve thnat it is all good

after playing the game. i do find the gameplay very stiff. i was hoping that the character's maneuverability would have been a little more. the jump feels like i dont have much height and get trapped by the hands and cannot escape. the parrying mechanic reminds me of the Samurai jack gba game with the gemstone season mechanic (you done better ) but it also doesnt get very strong so i get up spamming the attack

i do think you are on the right course to the gameplay, just needs a bit more refinement for me.

at first i was dumb and didnt know how to use the gun. but then i re read on how to aim and i found myself enjoying this. the artstyle and such hits the right cord and the 2 bosses do demonstrate on how to use the items.
graphics are well done and rewarding

not bad for your first try. you def have a good bedrock. i do hope you wil be able to refine afterwards

there are a LOT of glitches with the enemies, the screen is too big so i cannot see where my health and potions are

wanted to go to an area but doorway is too small. the dash buttons dont seem to work.

however making use of Coyote Time i was able to get over many obstacles and such.

the end area with the wizard and i think theres a softlock after the gate with the dialogue box

keep onto it and i think you will excel

the thing is done. fixed most of the issues and i am fine with the results (for the most part) thank you for giving us more time

fixing up on those errors. esp with the boss.

i am also updating the controls as i thought i had them in the comments area but still.

the feedback is very helpful so IF we do remake this and such this can help us and more.

--- Basically you just use it as keys to open specific doors, that are right next to where you give up the ability, so you can then get it back almost instantly, which defeats the purpose of having to give it up on the first place--

understandable. the boys were suppose to have an orb that allows to to swap out one of your abilities as opposed to the method shown. the doors were also suppose to be lazer doors that have the mark so you know what goes where

--I like how the HUD looks, but the level of detail between the characters, environment and objects clashes a little bit. There aren't a lot of markers or ways to guide yourself through the map, and the minimap is too zoomed in to be useful either.---

i will def fix that for the next time we do something like this. glad you like the hud though

and the last parts mentioned, that was also why i did ask the head if we can use the extra day as a way to improve the overall quality and add the missing parts or remove parts.

thank you for playing the game regardless

thanks mate

here it is. https://luckodastars.itch.io/icarus-eclipse i hope we can get the last things ironed out

i wish for use to use that grace day so we can get the last things fixed up and done so everything is good to our standard. we can update everything and such.  i only ask that we can use it

This was a blast to make this. i hope you all like it

We are looking for someone is skilled with C# or with the Godot/Redot Engine (Redot for obvious reasons) who can program a game very much similar to the arcade Classic: Smash TV

Premise: Shrunken down doctor curing diseases Gameplay: Top down shooter with some navigation mechanics Style: 2D Sprites Scope: Game starts out lighthearted, you're just killing bacteria and mending lacerations in a body. Later, something drags you deeper into the body and your objective changes into surviving and escaping the body or be killed by an inevitable threat. Anyone who is interested please DM me
