Perfect example for me of simple and effecient design for a jam! 5/5 (and the sounds makes it even more addictive omg)

Okay it's one of the last game I need to rate, and I still get impressed!
One of the most fun to play for me, gave me a vibe of some "snake" games with more mechanics like this game. Really cool gameplay, art music and sounds works very well, the game is polished, big GG!
If I want to dig for some problems, I would say a wider camera angle could have helped, I understand it's good to keep some interesting challenge, but I felt sometimes I couldn't react early enough sometimes to avoid the mouses.
Okay that was an interesting experience x). Honnestly for a game jam it's really impressive! The story is really nice to discover, the humor and absurd events actually really kept me interested in knowing what will come next (The virus moment was just so confusing but in a good way xd)!
The art is so cute and works really well for this type of game, the sounds and musics too!
You did put some gameplay and puzzles, somes even mixed with humor which is good! But I still think what matters most is the narrative, I guess there is no real "consequences" to the choice (and I can understand, it's a game jam).
Overall really impressive work, best story to discover from all the submissions in my opinion! GG!
I really agree with the previous comment, such cool gameplay ideas and cute charaters, even some art with the background and stuff. I would have suggested to make less levels and focus more and the playability and game feel, because there is really something to do with the plateformer idea (I love the fact that switching between modes can changes actions, but also evironments, good for some little puzzles while keeping interest for the other colors, you can even make fighting mechanics with that). Unlocking colors is also a cool progression mechanic. But yeah overall pretty hard to take a hand on and the controls/movements are a bit random. I still made it to the end and I liked playing it! I'll remember it :3
I keep getting impressed by those submissions but like... How did you make that alone in 9 days?! Everything looks so polished, didn't get any bug. It's not MY type of game sadly, I've made it just to the first second level, but omg the art is good, the gameplay works well, the game is so smooth, and I'm not only talking about the animations, the UI and stuff, I didn't feel like it was a game jam game honnestly. Really impressed. If I want to dig for some problems I found, I would say the tutorial being just text and no visual for a game that gets easly visualy overwhelming may lead some players not to take the plunge.
Big GG, will remember that!
Really really cool looking game, concept and ideas! The character is really cool and is actually interesting! Too bad we can't have a proper "ending" but I know how the deadline can push that, because honnestly, with just
some more gameplay ideas (like the one where we write the new game button by ourselves, it's such a funny and interesting idea!) I think this could make a really cool narrator based game (idk how it's called, like "there is no game").
So yeah cool game and ideas for a jam! GG :)
Best narrative for me so far of the submissions!! Really loved the staging you made, the atmosphere is heavy and we clearly can feel how the character feels in the game. The game is pretty smooth and the art style is amazing. A bit frustrating to not have real consequences about our choices, but the purpose of the story is here and works well. Succeeding to create emotions and an atmosphere like that on a game jam.. I'm impressed!
Some weird bugs with the fullscreen concerning the UI, but no game breaking ones for me. There is some gameplay idea with the keyboard thing and it's pretty cool!
Hey I'm happy to have made it to the end, the boss and the overall game was pretty nice! I understand that some people had a hard time parrying attacks, personally I found it not so lacking of generosity, there was some visual feedbacks with the animation to parry at the good moment.
Some bugs happened, and one of the boss' attack is a bit long and loud (the rocks), aaaaand no textures in one of the levels :( but well I know how it can happen in game jam scenarios. Very cool style also! Gameplay was fun for me, GG :3
Really cool style and atmosphere! Love all the efforts in the 3D, and we even have some narrative. I would say the gameplay quickly gets a bit too long and repetitive, the tutorial is also a bit long too. There is also some problems about not being able to clearly tell the depth of the ball (like many comments I've seen mentioning it) and yep some bugs like ball getting stucj or broken block not appearing in the right place. When we get to the new mechanics it gives some variety but it still feel a bit too repetitive to play. Some sounds for the ball bounce could have been good also! Overall it's a pretty impressive game for this amount of time! GG
Stunning work for this amount of time, really I loved it, I lost track of time playing it. The simple easy to learn gameplay which stays interesting and challenging with all the new mechanics and the cool boss idea. The game is smooth and I love the details on the sounds and animations. The Art Direction also works really well with the game's atmosphere. That deserves a 5 star for me.
The only thing that frustrated me was the moments where the boss would just yeet one of my ball out of the screen with the anti gravity and I could not recover it x)
Interesting interpretation and cool idea to do a stealth gameplay, the voice acting also adds some narrative and works for a tutorial. Sadly I got a pretty annoying bug where my camera wont stop moving to the right on the browser, and the worst problem is, what we often underestimate, coming back to the beggining where we must WAIT for all the tutorial to end before being able to enjoy the game again just kills too much of the fun :(
I still find the tutorial and mechanics well made with some challenge!
Woooow I really love the gameplay idea coupled with the multiplayer!! Even some cool details added to the effects, some narrative, multiples maps. Nah really such a coolk idea and execution of the project. If I would search some problems, yeah I would say the controls are weird to take hands on due to the 45° angle, and insects are a bit not enough visible, but really the gameplay idea works really cool! GG!
Wow really nice work for this jam! I've made it to the end. Loved the idea of typing for interacting, even if it's not so much explained it's pretty well suggested that we need to type, especially when we see it's a different word (but we can also easly take it has another action sadly).
Progression was also pretty intuitive with the lights that guides you and stuff. Very cool!
Nice and cute little VN! Loved the characters and the story, no audio sadly :( and I've made it to the end, but yep there is a pretty game breaking bug in the first mini game if our mouse leaves the window and comes back while holding. Found some dialogues to go away a bit too quickly, but overall I liked the narrative. The minigames are interesting but a bit too long in my opinion. The art only lacks some BG but the characters are very cute!
Bravo !
