Thanks for trying my game out. I tried yours out as well as left a comment and rating. Was very impressed by your games mechanics. I'm also super curious on how it could be expanded on given more time. Thanks for participating!

Thanks you! I've played your game and left a rating and comment as well as a little feedback from some confusion I had. Overall I was very impressed!

Great concept and awesome execution. Would love to see what you could do with more time invested but overall super well done. Had a blast playing.

Great game. I was a little lost when it through you into the game and then after trying a few times I finally realized the gimmick of actually getting the other trains. I think it would help to include that in that little message you already have for expanding the train so its clear that you're looking  for train ends with the same color. Other that that little confusion the game was great. Very polish and cohesive. Well done!

Thank you! I completely understand and its something I thought more about after wrapping things up experiencing it myself but I just didn't have enough time to come up with a good solution. But its valuable feedback and I appreciate you reaching out and trying the game out.

I tried your game and left a rating and comment. Really impressed everything was done from scratch.

Here's my game if you'd like to give it a try: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2026/rate/4612897

Making everything from scratch during the jam is super impressive. I found the UI kind of breaks if it isn't full screened and I think the tutorial could be a little more user friendly but overall I think it was a fun game and I'm impressed with all the content you were able to squeeze into this 10 day game.

Hey just tried out your game and gave it a rating and a comment. I was super impressed with what you two were able to pull off in 10 days.

Here's my game if you'd like to check it out: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2026/rate/4612897

Super shocked you were able to pull this off in the time span with two people. Super fitting with the theme, the UI and game play were responsive and smooth and overall the game had a lot of polish.

I played you're game and left a rating and comment. I was super impressed by the polish of your game. It wouldn't surprise me to see it published in an app store in its current state.

Woops forgot to leave my game link: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2026/rate/4612897

This game feels very polished for the time span. Super impressive. The assets all feel like they belong except the apple icon at least to me was an outlier but everything else felt cohesive. The game play was tight and the mechanics with the piece themselves and the items you get brought a really fun twist to the crossword puzzle genre.

Hey, I tried your game and gave it a rate and comment. It was a fun game.

Here's the link if you wanna try it: https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2026/rate/4612897

Fun twist on the fixed shooter genre. I was a little surprised it was made in Unreal with it being 2D but the game itself looks good. I think with more time and investment it could really shine.

Wins:

  • Developed a super sick movement system I can use in future projects.
  • Learned an absolute ton about UI.
  • Learned a lot about Game Jams, Itch.io, and Exporting games from Godot.
  • Learning from other devs by playing their games and reading their experiences.

Loses:

  • Ended up working solo instead of with one of my collaborators so I think overall it was less fun because of that.
  • Would've loved to add more content but my schedule didn't give me enough time.

The game was hard, but the mechanics were fun. Would love to see what it could become with more time invested into it.

Here's a video of my playing for a few minutes. I didn't do the full game as to not show a ton of spoilers but I think it shows the core points.

This is my first ever game jam and I would love to get feedback on how the game feels and how well it did on theme from other developers. My game is essentially a beat the clock movement game where you have to follow connecting paths that lead to towers that give you more time/fuel while avoiding hazards attempting to slow you down and once you activate 4 towers the final tower unlocks and you win when you activate the final tower.

My game isn't a web build. I didn't think the browsers would be able to support the bigger 3d world and graphics I had setup as well as I wanted to give players the freedom of setting their own binding and have them persist if they played again as well as not have to close out the tutorial screen every time they opened the game. I know this will get me less players but I figured if anyone wanted to play it more than once it would become a nuisance.

I'd love to see what everyone else came up with as well and give my own thoughts and opinions as well, so anyone who is interest in checking my game out I will rate and comment on their game as well.

Follow branching paths and light the towers before your lantern runs out of fuel. Light 4 towers to unlock the final tower and claim victory. Master the game’s advanced movement system to reach each tower in time, restoring fuel along the way. Beware the hazards lurking across the paths getting too close may slow you down, disorient you, or leave you lost in the woods.
