Yo, what’s that purple thing coming up from underwater? Looks suspicious, right? Nice game, BTW, but I have a couple of suggestions
Sea mines (or whatever they are) They also spawn from behind the island and appear so close to the screen that you can’t react in time, which leads to sudden losses.
The Water foam behind the island is really dense, making it hard to spot incoming Sea mines.
Maybe push their spawn point a bit farther away or slow down their approach so players get a fair chance to react.
Oh! I found out why the file names are like that! It’s because of this so, I never really set a product name since it doesn’t matter to me right now. I think Unity automatically used the project name instead. And the project name was "Brackeys Game Jam 2025.1" because back when I first made that project, I set it up and then decided to turn it into a project template. That’s why the product name never got cleared.
Hope that makes sense! 😅
I honestly had no idea that the executable was named after Brackeys Jam. That wasn’t intentional. I think it might have happened because I use a project template in Unity Hub to avoid setting everything up from scratch each time. But just to clarify there’s nothing from Brackeys Jam in this project.
I took a screenshot to show that I haven’t even opened my Brackeys project in 10 days, and you can see I Opened B3agz project 3 days ago.
I’m really nervous that people reported my game because of this. 😟 I worked super hard on it, and I just wanted to make something fun. Hope this clears things up!
Hey, I think there's been a misunderstanding.
You seem to believe that my game was made for Brackeys Jam instead of this one, but that’s not the case. I did join Brackeys Jam, but due to time constraints, I couldn't even started my game and ended up leaving that jam.
This game was developed entirely within a week for this jam. While I used pre-made assets for 2D/3D art (since I’m not an artist), all of the code was written by me from scratch. I even explained this in the game’s description.
If you have any questions, I’m more than happy to answer them. It also sounds like you may have already reported my game, which worries me, so please let me know if there’s anything I can clarify.
Thanks for playing my game! I'm still new to game development, so I apologize if you had any issues. Could you please let me know what problems you're experiencing with the inventory? If you're referring to the icons, I'm sorry I haven't had enough time to complete the icon generator tool to create icons for all the items. I really appreciate your feedback!
Nice art and sound! But the inputs are hard to keep up with. Also, the traps don’t really look like traps, so every time I encountered a new one, I had to restart the whole level. And by the way, that death jumpscare me every time! The last one scared me so much that I quit. I know its not an horror game, I guess that’s just my own problem! 😆
Nice art! But the camera movement feels a bit too fast I sometimes got lost in the void and couldn't find my way back. Another small thing (not a big deal, but I wanted to mention it): I think you forgot to set the music audio source's spatial blend to 2D. When I move far from the center, the volume decreases.
Thanks for playing Pick & Verify and for your detailed feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know about your experience.

Stuck in the Ground Issue: Could you let me know exactly where you got stuck? I haven’t run into that problem during my tests, so your details will really help me track down the cause and fix it.

Verification Feedback: Sorry for not adding more progress indicators for item verification I was running out of time. I had planned to include additional visual and audio cues, and I hope to implement these improvements in a future update.

End Screen Bugs: It sounds like the input lock isn’t fully working when the game ends. I’ll make sure to address the mouse issue and disable movement properly. Could you clarify if the mouse pointer is completely absent on the “Construction Halted!” screen, or if it’s just not responding when you move it?
I know some features are still incomplete, as mentioned in the game description. I’m glad you enjoyed the art style, and I truly appreciate your feedback it helps me prioritize what to fix and improve next. Thanks again for playing!
That's what I'm saying it didn't help me but confused me even more. The card always has two faces, and the guide lists values for both. For example, if one face is $1 and the other is $3, do I add both values and enter that in the input field before selling, or is it something else? I tried both adding and not adding, but I always lose. Also, I know I need to check things like the card name and stats before valuation, right?
