No problem! I played the game again, and it's really good! My browser tab was accidentally closed, so I thought I lost all my progress, but you can continue, neat! I thought I needed to download the file data and import it~

For the X button, it's actually not the game's problem, but the website of itch.io itself. The X button is beneath the submission game jam and profile banner, which is why I can't click it~

Sorry for my phrasing, but what I mean is that the player is able to facing towards the mouse, but since you can actually shoot from keyboard (just checked lol), I don't think player facing based on cursor is needed~

And as I upgrade the speed, the movement does much better~

My only struggle, perhaps that when we're advancing at a greater distance, the enemies are becoming overwhelmed, even in max upgrade, I'm unable to do anything because my shooting gauge is empty. Although this is not a problem, since based on the game page, you did say to plan to update the upgrade~

Can't wait!~

Really fun small game! I play it on the browser, so maybe the experience will be different when playing in the download version~

There is some improvement that could be made, like graphics. Character movement feel a bit rigid, would be nice to move seamlessly, whilst able to head towards cursor (maybe intended). At the beginning on ship upgrade, I was overwhelmed, but I managed to understand it.

Also, I can't exit from settings or credits with the "X" button, maybe only happening on the webs~

It's really good, could be developed and enhanced further!~

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!~

You are correct, I was planning to make each choice you're making to be much more impactful and shaping your personality, that's why in the opening section when you're awake and at night you have inner conversation on shaping the personality, and I want that each conversation and choice with the FMC to be different based on the value of personality you picked throughout the game, but sadly I didn't have the time to write nor to implement the feature (yet) because I was planning to submit this into a game jam with rushed and constrict time (joining late), thus why the choice feel a bit of static, I did manage to put some small elements where your choice matter~

Thank you for complimenting the art. My friend would be thrilled to hear this, as the reason I create this game and participate in game jams is to allow him to experience game development. The character expression is quite limited because of the time, also I don't want my friend to feel burdened when making the art by himself, since I'm the one who dragged him lol~

The audio and music sometimes feel quieter or louder, since I didn't normalize the dB/LUFs on all audio and BGM. I didn't think this through yet when I'm developing. the game~

Thank you again for your time, since this game is in demo/in-development. I'm hoping you could play the full release to see what the actual game would be like. To be honest, I was scoping too large when planning this game for a game jam. Of course, for your other unanswered question, like the cause of Winter Blessing... Perhaps you'll find it out on day 3, or 4, or 5, or 6, or who knows?~

Yahallo, thank you for your support!〜

Currently, I'm further developing this game. There will be a "Codex" section where the player can learn much more insight into the game mechanics in the next update!〜

Thank you for playing and for the suggestion!〜

PS: Sorry for the REALLY late replies!〜

Really fun small games! Love it!

Thank you for your feedback! When the game jam is over I plan to refine it much more and yeah, maybe I went too overboard for some level! Thank you so much for playing!

A great game! Love how the 3D environments blend with 2D assets, love the aesthetics! The only problem I have is that I did not know what to do first, there is not much introduction and a really fast sensitivity. Overall a fun game!

A fun little game, love the atmosphere and the 3d model! I was confused on how to pass the barrier, but you actually need to get below. Gosh! I feel dumb. Anyway great games, love it!

Thank you, glad you like it!

For the exploit, I didn't know you could actually just do that, I just discovered it when you mentioned it. Thank you!

Ah yes, I didn't take on account if the player would morph to the next cycles in tight spaces. My bad.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! 😁

Glad you like it! Yes, I was hoping for the player to figure it out themself! I was planning on adding a reset button for when there is stuck or too much body. But since I don't have the knowledge and the times, I rush it so when you slam the dead body, you'll clear up the blockage!

Thank you very much! I am glad that you like it! 😁

It's an excellent idea. At first, I don't understand how it follows up the theme. But when I think about it, it all makes sense. You went from a bad person to a good person, literally morphing your personality. Overall good interpretations!

A really great simple game! Love the art style and the music! I only achieve 152 toughs. Maybe 0/300 is much lol or I'm just too bad. Anyway, great game!

Thank you! I'll contact them in advance! 😁

This is a good prototype design, the animation is smooth too! Overall if this being expands, I think it will be a good game!

This is really well-polished! My only suggestion for me is that it has too much acceleration and deceleration speed for a precision platformer game. Other than that, dayyum this is a really good game!

Hello everyone, the current game page download is broken and wrong. Please download it in https://yuha-dev.itch.io/homeward-bound-temporary-download. Since the voting stages are happening, I cannot update the download sections.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you all enjoy the games!

Heyyo, thank you for the error bug report! This is because I didn't embed (or zip it) the .pck file. I cannot update the page since the jam is currently in the voting stage. For now, I have a temporary download project page, that also can be played on the browser (although there is no teleport particle, a bug).

Once again, thank you!
