uh oh, that hand scene with the muscles/tendons was really similar to an intrusive thought I’ve had a few times now, guess I’ll probably be thinking about this for the next few days (in sort of a good way, I think? idk I don’t normally enjoy body horror, but this was an interesting experience)

I found a little glitch: when holding forward and brake while standing still, the car starts vibrating intensely

Thank you!

Very very good on all fronts, great concept, fits the theme of the jam fantastically, and a joy to play.

I especially liked the clock on the main menu, as a little reminder of the flow of time even after finishing the game and going to close it.

I guess for me the weakest (very much relatively speaking) game was the one about sorting emails. It felt a little ambiguous which mails were important to keep without actively looking at the score counter, though tbh it still demonstrates the relative flow of time well, so I’d say it accomplishes its goal, and this is just a minor issue.

This is a really cool game! I discovered this through the Game Randomizer, so I only had the title to go on, and its a good one. The mechanic is simple and fun, and the visuals work really well. Only thing I’d add would be some simple sound effects, probably just a small cue for when the angle of light changes.

Overall I had a lot of fun with this, its one of my favorites of the jam so far!

(also scary light is a mood I relate to at least once a day lol)

Cool game! Idk if this was intentional, but I think with a precise position you can get free hits on the machine gun guys while staying outside their vision entirely, and I like that :)

Sound effects work well, music is good but can get a bit repetitive, and I liked the pixel art on the title screen, nice dither for the sky!

Also, the turret cameras kinda reminded me of Metal Gear. Might just be me tho.

Ran into an odd issue when playing through the Game Randomizer, half of the game was cut off, and the fullscreen button wouldn’t work. Maybe its an itch bug rather than anything with your game, idk

The gameplay ended up being deeper than I realized at first, so I had multiple playthroughs to fully figure out the mechanics and strategy. I agree with everyone else that it feels slow to start out, but with the upgrades that ends up working out pretty well :)

Maybe a tad too reliant on how much gold is near spawn, and how close it is (if you get enough for an upgrade right away, you’re basically set), but otherwise really good, well done! Oh and hotkeys for upgrades would be a really nice feature and flow well with the quick gameplay

Nice! Played a few times, and just ended up drinking a ton of beers…

It gave a sense of being overwhelmed, and confused, just trying to figure out what to do with my limited time, and I came away feeling like I’d have to have prior knowledge to manage everything. Just like real life sometimes :)

Nice, played a few times, and I really enjoyed it!

Also, are those screams new? I played this a week or so ago and I don’t remember them

Nice game! I like the changing themes, that adds a lot to replays, and the intro text is fun!

The only issue I have is that the layouts often seem impossible, due to enemies blocking the path (I think they take up the full square, right?), or the path being too long.

What could be cool would be if you could for example bait enemies to attack, allowing you to run past them if timed well, or some sort of sprint button, to add more to movement (personally I always enjoy trying to “optimize” my dash rhythm, or just bunnyhop around in games while going from A to B)

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
