well.. for MyBank in Europe there is no account to open for example because it works with a lot of european banks directly so you can just use it directly. I think that's the way, a bank transfer or a national payment process that support that automatically.

Another possible solution can be to delete mastercard/visa support (at least for nsfw games) and implement national payment process alternatives (in europe there is MyBank that gog already implemented... also Satispay is used a lot in Italy but an account is possible in all Europe).
It would not be easy, but it should be possible and getting away from mastercard/visa control should help a lot in the long run.
Itch could implement MyBank as a payment method for Europe (and others that are not US based).
Of course the main problem is these payment method are not international.
But even if itch implement multiple national payment method to avoid mastercard/visa for nsfw games, I'm not sure it will matter since mastercard/visa can still bully any platform even if they are not used just by nsfw titles...
if will of course be awesome if itch could decide to just implement all national payment method and say "go fuck yourself" to mastercard and visa but I don't think most users will actually be happy about it (and people from the US would still be excluded unless there is an alternative in US to mastercard/visa and other stupid payment method that want to censor games).
I finished this amazing game today.
I loved it... for the most part.
There are 3 different kind of game in Summer in Mara:
1. Manage your island (this is awesome, lot of things to do in a day, lot's to build, you can decide what you want to upgrade to make your life easier for the most part (of course there are some items that you need to build)).
2. Discover the world as an explorer with your boat (this is the best part. I loved every island of Mara).
3. Fetch quests with awesome characters (this is the weak spot of Summer in Mara... you do meet a lot of great characters and that's good, but they also only ask you to go to do things for them (collect stuff for the most part)).
I still think this game deserve 9/10, the awesome music and artstyle, the really great animated shorts, every good part of this game deserve a 10 so the bad part is really a minor thing (as it also push you to explore more and the game does reward you for exploring).
I'm glad I played it and I will suggest this to all my friends.
I was about to buy this game (for once this is something I would get on itch and actually pay money for it not just giveaways), since this is actually a game I could like. But since this only give you a steam key I will not.
Not sure if this game use any kind of drm on steam (there are a few drm-free games on steam) but I prefer to get an installer instead of using a client for the download even if the game itself is drm-free on steam.
