Thank you for your question!

Some antivirus programs may flag large .exe files simply because of their size or the way they're packed — this is a common false positive for indie games.

If you're downloading the game directly from the official page here on Itch.io, you can trust the file. Itch.io moderators do their best to keep the platform clean and regularly check for malicious content. I can assure you that the game doesn't contain any malware.

Let me know if you have any concerns — I'm happy to help!

Hi! Thank you for your comment and for your interest in the game.
Antivirus software like Avast sometimes flags game files as suspicious due to the way they are packaged or specific development tools used — this is quite common, especially with indie games.

I can assure you that if you're downloading the game from the official page here on itch.io, the file is completely safe. itch.io checks all uploaded files for malware and cryptocurrency miners, so there's no risk at all.

Feel free to add the game folder to your antivirus exceptions and enjoy the game!
If you have any questions or need help, I'm happy to assist.

Thank you for playing! 🙌

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment — I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

When I decided to include mini-games in my project, my goal was to add an extra layer of challenge and immersion — to make certain moments feel more intense and emotionally impactful, not just through story, but also through gameplay. I wanted the player to feel the tension of a scene, not just read about it.

That said, I fully understand that quick-time events or timing-based mechanics aren't for everyone. I’m still at the beginning of my journey as a game developer, and I’m experimenting with different concepts and mechanics. Feedback like yours is incredibly valuable to me — it's how I learn and improve.

I absolutely hear your concerns, and while I won’t remove mini-games altogether, I do want to find a better balance — perhaps by offering alternative ways to complete key moments for players who prefer a more traditional RPG experience. I don't want any mechanic to be a barrier that keeps someone from enjoying the story I’ve worked so hard to tell.

If you enjoyed the game overall, I’d really appreciate it if you could leave an honest rating on the game’s page. Ratings help more people discover the project and give me a clearer idea of how the community feels about the direction it’s going in.

Again, thank you for your kind words and support. It means a lot to know that you found the game delightful up to that point, and I’ll do my best to make future updates more inclusive without losing the soul of what I’m creating.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback — I’m really glad to hear the opening managed to hook you! It means a lot to me that you're looking forward to the game.

Good to know you downloaded it from this page — yes, this is the official source, so no worries there.

About the scroll bar in the main menu: you're absolutely right. It's easy to miss, and that's a UI oversight on my part. I’ll definitely work on making the interface more intuitive — either by highlighting the scroll bar, increasing its size, or adding a line in the menu tutorial to explain that more options become visible when scrolling. That’s going on my to-do list for the next update.

And finally, about your comment that you'll lose only a weekend or three to this game… I’m afraid I have to disagree! 😄

The story I’m working on is deep, emotional, and full of mysteries to uncover — and I truly hope it will keep you immersed for much longer than just a few weekends. If I do my job right, it’ll be a journey worth every minute.

Also, if you genuinely enjoyed what you’ve seen so far, I’d really appreciate it if you could leave an honest rating on the game’s page. It helps other players discover the project — and gives me the motivation to keep pushing it forward.💜

Once again, thank you for your kind words and support. Please keep an eye on the project as it grows — and don’t forget that I’ll be regularly involving the community in shaping the direction of development. Your voice matters!

Hello!

Thank you very much for your comment — I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Let me address your points one by one:

First, regarding the white screen issue: I’ve encountered this myself while testing the build on one of my computers. You might try launching the game in windowed mode instead of fullscreen — that has helped in some cases. Also, please check if your antivirus might be interfering with the game; it can sometimes flag certain internal files even though I can assure you the game contains no malicious code.

Another possibility is that the build might have been downloaded from an unofficial source. Some players who downloaded the game from pirate sites have reported similar crashes. Just in case — could you please send me a screenshot of the crash when opening the tutorial? That would really help me pinpoint the issue.

As for saving and loading: the option becomes available once the main character leaves the house of Luke and Madeline. In the main menu, try scrolling with the mouse wheel — there is an additional row of options that might not be visible at first glance.

I'll definitely look into adding a new auto-save point after waking up in the house, as I understand how frustrating it can be to repeat the Ash Island segment.

If you continue to have issues, feel free to reach out to me directly via my Discord server — I’ll do my best to help you resolve everything!

Thanks again for playing!

Thank you for your feedback — I completely agree with your point.

In future updates, I definitely plan to improve the settings system. Unfortunately, the limitations of the game engine don’t allow for full flexibility, but I’ll try to find a good balance between user-friendly design and technical simplicity.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts! 😊

Thanks for the comment! Just to clarify — scenes with that kind of fetish aren’t actually in the game yet.

So there's currently nothing that needs to be toggled off.
That said, I totally understand the importance of customization, and I'll definitely keep that in mind as I add new content in future updates!😊

Thank you SO much for this amazing message! 💖

I’m beyond happy you got hooked and spent hours playing — that’s literally what I dreamt of when making this. The vibe, the characters, the romance… YES, I’m so glad it hit right 😌

Your kind words mean a lot — they keep me going and remind me why I started all this. More updates are coming, I promise  including more spicy moments and story twists.

Big hugs to you, and thank you for being part of this journey!!!

Thank you for your question!

Of course, the further development of the game will include cross-platform support. However, at this early stage, I'm focused on making the  Windows version as stable and polished as possible. Once the foundation is ready, I plan to start working on porting the game to Android and other platforms.

I’d be happy if you continue to follow the project’s progress! 💙

Hey Kaelty, thank you so much for the kind words and thoughtful feedback!

I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the atmosphere and the maps — I put a lot of care into making the world feel alive, so it means a lot to me that it came across that way.

Thanks also for pointing out the issue with the ruined village event trigger — I’ll definitely fix that in the next update to make sure players can’t accidentally skip it.

I’ll keep working hard to improve the game, and I’m really looking forward to hearing your thoughts once you’ve played through the full demo!

Thanks again for playing and for taking the time to share your impressions!

Hi everyone! 💜
I'm Serena, and I’m beyond excited (and a little nervous) to finally share my very first RPG project with you — Forsaken World.

The game is still a work in progress, but I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or just words of encouragement. Whether you play for the story, the characters, or the atmosphere — thank you for giving it a chance.

Your support means the world to me 💫
Feel free to leave a comment or message me — I’m always open to suggestions, critique, or just a friendly chat!
