I did notice the armour giving health! What I meant is you should also get health from other upgrades, even if less than with the armour. Just to keep the gameflow for a bit longer:)

I really liked it! Which makes sense, since I really like Risk of Rain. I would say that a very consistent issue is that your camera seems to be flung, caught and pushed around by objects, so it's better to play near open areas.
I would say maybe starting with a bit more movement speed wouldn't hurt. Maybe the enemies could also have a bit more movement speed at the beginning.
I LOVED this game an incredible amount. Took me a bit to realize exactly what I was doing, but once I caught up, it was so fun to just figure things out. The weakest aspect of it is definitely its lack of audio, because otherwise, I could've just stayed absorbed by the puzzle and the cute snail.
A surprisingly cool game, not much else to say! I won the whole thing and I'm very pleased I did:)
This game is unplayable as it is. The "end turn" button is outside the screen and the only card that actually seems to work for me is the shield card anyway. I do like the visual style and I was really looking forward to playing this, so please, let me know if you implement fullscreen at some point in order to see if that helps the game.
I ADORE the visuals here, and the game itself is very engaging and endearing. I will admit, it took me a bit to realize that the exits were non-euclidean, and so I was a bit confused when I was trying to backtrack but suddenly I'd be in new locations haha.
All in all, fantastic game, would love nothing more than to see your idea for a fully realized metroidvania of this come to fruition, and even if that doesn't happen, at least more stages of this would be great.
Definitely adding it to my collection:)
Fun little game, odd controls but fun when you manage to master them. There is a bit of a cheesy strat where you can just hide behind a child and just wait for bread to be fed directly to you.
The rock throwing sometimes predictcted movement insanely well, I was astonished at some of those.
All in all, nice little game, does what it sets out to do and I wouldn't say it overstayed its welcome, but if hadn't I had such a grasp of the controllers, I could see it becoming a bit annoying.
Great game! I love Vampire Survivors!
I was gonna comment about my disappointment at the sword not getting upgraded with level, but then I saw on the screenshots that it is supposed to improve, so I had to open the game again and try, and for whatever reason, the second time it did work.
Anyways, just a little, enjoyable experience. Almost got to 1k points but died, smh.
Cute little game. No in-game tutorial so I had to go to the game's page to see the controls.
Some important bugs to note: Some shops items didn't allow purchase, for whatever reason. I got stuck waiting for Stage 4 to begin forever.
Even there, it is a neat idea that I would love to see more polished out and executed.
Very cute game! I didn't keep on trying because I got "too much" at first and I don't want to damaage my enter button lmao.
The "Don't even try" and the quit button avoiding you was quite endearing, it got a smiler out of me.
Very simple, cute game. Wish there was some visual indicator to tell you how behind or ahead from the perfect mashing rhythm you are tho.
Stunning visuals. I became absolutely enamored by its aesthetic and setting near immediately. The gameplay was quick to understand and it was quite fun to try and get better each time.
I'd say the audio is a bit loud and unfortunately collisions seemed to keep bugging out, to the point that in the higher levels I wouldn't really be able to interact with enemies much since they were busy phasing in an out of the walls. I also encountered a bug where after dying not only did I lose an item, but I would find myself unable to pick up all the items I would select. After that run, I hit the "Settings" button during the run and I found it consistently brings you to what I have to assume is the final boss, which unfortunately I wasn't able to beat considering that the camera seemed a bit mispositioned, the boss kept exiting the screen and the harps eventually would just turn red back and forth while only creating hitboxes on the air.
Even with all that, I would say my experience was majorly positive. I found this game deeply inspiring personally, and makes me want to work on something similar in the future, I hope you can iron out the kinks and truly bring this game to the level of polish it deserves:)
Rotational Balatro! Had an excellent time playing around with gears and rotation until an incredibly high score was demanded of me hahaha. An excellent game all around.
I do believe the gummy worm gear might be bugged, since it was always saying "Sugar Crash" when it was my first time spinning it. Maybe I didn't understand it as much as I thought, but I still loved the game.
This was an incredible experience. It felt very mindful, meaningful and important playing through it; it even managed to capture some nostalgic feelings in me, and I'm not very used to getting that sort of emotion.
It feels like everything was developped as much as it needed to, from the visuals, to the music, the haiku death screens and the ambient sfx. Everything just worked very well together.
It felt rewarding and engaging in a way I didn't expect. The moment the music changed, really felt impactful.
I really felt like this game mattered, which is a very nice feeling to have got from it.
A very relaxing, nice game.
You have absolutely convinced me that there is something inherently wrong with the way I think in my day to day and I should be applying more of my brain to my life.
This is insane. Absolutely astonishing, astounding and everything else game. I am genuinely at a loss for words of how to describe this. This game is so simple yet so difficult, so tough yet so gratifying. I HAD to beat it and I did and I'm so happy I experienced all of it. This is a full on realized game and I'm so happy to see it.
From the get-go I was amazed by the visuals and transitions between levels, but the gameplay itself just kept piling on more and more.
I genuinely can't believe I got to experience this game.
I have no idea what I was expecting, but this has surpassed all expectations.
I will definitely have to keep you in my mind, because there is a project I have been dreaming of doing and this might have just shone a light forward.
Really reminded me of buckshot roulette!
The atmosphere is quite nice and creepy, and the game is easy to understand.
I would say the gameplay is a bit simple, which could be a detriment, but I still had my fun picking "double or nothing" whenever I'd beat the dealer hahaha. Overall, nice experience.
Thank you! Yeah, I wanted to keep the real vibe a surprise, that's why I didn't include screenshots or much of anything, so I'm glad you appreciated it! I am also very proud of the 3 rat sections (I hope you found the 3rd, since that's my favorite one), they managed to make the person who was playtesting my game fully break out laughing even though he already fully knew what to expect.
The game is meant to be on the harder side (even if I did add a bit more healing and weaker enemies than originally intended), but I would agree that instant attacks can be more obnoxious than anything else. I guess in the moment I didn't think to make them flash a colour when they are about to attack, which would've been really helpful.
I'm glad you enjoyed, I am endeared to this project and I hope people like it enough for it to warrant polishing it out fully:)
AMAZING game. I had to give it a 5/5 in everything because I was just so enamoured by it. I almost beat it three times, including rush mode, but I found an infinite death loop in "the end" rush mode. The movement was so smooth and satisfying.
I had to beat it several times because at first I kept fumbling the controls and getting confused with them, but eventually I realized what my issue was and I think this is the one importat wrinkle this game has: The down button.
It is weird that the slamming down suddenly makes you vulnerable to enemies (feels like maybe a bug?). A lot of times I wanted to switch from climbing walls to going down them, but switching from space to down made it so that I slammed and for some reason that also meant I would smack myself against the wall instead of actually going down. There were so many times I wanted to trigger the rollin' while also making sure I would bounce from the wall, but I would press down a bit too early and now I was stuck awkwardly crouching.
Truly a wonderful game overall tho, this is the kind of stuff that I could definitely see as a popular game, and deservedly so. The visuals, the audio, the sillyness. Delectable.
Cool game, but I was admittedly confused a lot of the time by what was I supposed to avoid or not. Eventually I started to figure things out, but I still think that, although I find the pixel art to be lovely, everything had the tendency to clutter a bit. In any case, I had an enjoyable time and the loop works pretty well. I could see myself playing this on my phone.
A really short, but sweet time. Not really my thing as it is but I can see the appeal.
I had to go back to make sure if this game had any audio, it does and it's quite nice, but it's so low that I couldn't hear anything unless I increase my volume to levels that I don't enjoy having my pc at. (Let me know if I missed an volume setting somewhere.)
If I have to give this game anything, it's the visuals. Just from the screenshots they felt incredible to look at. Just so delectable and nice. Really top tier.
A surprisingly engaging game. I admit I looked at the visuals and didn't expect much, but just from looking at the settings, everything changed. The game does an excellent job at explaining why it's serious, which really made me completely disregard my presumptions. As a physics lover myself, I loved the many instances of using it this game had. The only coin I didn't care enough to sit down and figure out how to get was on level 7, the one at the top of the blue band thingy. I plataformed and did all sorts of amazing things to reach it, but ultimately, I was always just a bit short.
My biggest concern: The controls. They are odd, not really BAD, but odd. I appreciate being able to select the level because several times I would press ctrl + other keys and that would close the tab or do all sorts of awful things.
Other than that, an I had a great time solving all the levels and being surprised at how clever some of the solutions felt.
