sure no problem!

Think of something like balatro where you need to get a score to beat the level. Maybe you've already thought of it, but when I played it felt like I didn't have to risk some maneuvers to get more coins. One other way you could do it is to create some objectives like "make a 4x loop", "pick up at least 3 passengers", etc.

If you don't wan to prevent the player progression, maybe just leave them as missions to earn stars on the level. Like, first level: 1. pick up 5 passengers; 2. make a triple loop;  3. get 100 coins. So if the player did just 2 and 3, they've beaten the level with 2 stars.

Did you get it now? (sorry, english is not my 1st language :p)

I had a lot of fun playing it, finally could live my cowboy dreams hahahah

Very cool art btw, but I'd suggest adding more variation to the sand tiles and make them softer. Right now the screens looks a bit busy.

Great game tho 🤠🤠

100% here for the passengers screaming YEEEHOOO

very cool (and addictive) game :D

If there's anything I'd add is to have a earn goal to levels, but that didn't stop me going through them hahhahahhaha

Really liked the concept, I love puzzle games.

If I were to give you any pointers is that you could make it easier to understand the loop mechanic (took me a while hahahha).

Nonetheless, great job!

Ok this was FUN! Would really like to see the finished version. All that I could complain about I understand that had to be cut to submit it in time.

Thank you so much! Yeah there are some tricks to get better values hahahahaha. It was one of the first mechanics developed and I had some ideas for it. Had to scrap them for now so I could meet the deadline, but it will be relevant in future updates 😛

Turns out the solvability of a board it is a very complex subject 😓

Also, the algorithms that make sure that it is solvable include creating a library of boards that an algorithm was able to solve. Also, that solving algorithm is NP-complete and I'm not sure if this deserves all that work since it's just a first project 😅

For now I'm just going to leave it as random. It is my first game and just a clone. I want to move on to other projects and learn/do new things.

BTW, I did the first click change.

Haven’t noticed it this could happen, thank you. I’m working on some code cleanup right now and after I’ll  improve the spawning, including avoiding the first tile to be a bomb.
