it was really fun to figure out how to properly climb! I was impressed by how well you handled the physics 👏

I really liked placing these boxes down! Right now I feel like the best strategy is to stay AFK under a pipe to get as many boxes as possible and then to spam them on your way up, so there might be something you could do to prevent that (setting a maximum box capacity, and maybe preventing the player from spamming them?) also my character glitched on invisible hitboxes from time to time. In any case, you could definitely make something interesting with this concept!

you didn't lie when you said it was hard! Couldn't get past the third star, there's a really difficult jump with spikes and a platform over it after that. The character is very easy to control 👍. A scrolling background would have been nice!

I love the presentation, it's very pleasing visually! It would have been nice to have some enemies on the way, maybe some powerups, traps, etc... to give some variety. Keep up the good work!

funny game ! The random hazards are pretty creative and relatively well conveyed to the player, if I were you I'd focus on visual and thematic✨ consistency ✨ because WHAT is this mystery box doing in the air ahah

Thank you! Oh I tried to be a little less direct with the skeleton's description, a little more mysterious... There's a mechanic that you can take advantage of in order to prevent him to kill you! I think you can figure it out hehe

Thank you! It means a lot coming from you!

Yeah you totally got it! And you're right, I had to cut on the custom death sequences to respect the deadline. What browser were you using when you got the pink screen? I tried both the itch and the gd games versions on Chrome and Edge and it worked fine

it does feel a little slow right now, I should look into that if I keep developping it... Thank you!

happy to read that! looking forward to see more of this little fella 🐧

very cute and the gameplay is pretty unusual, with good visuals and music, the controls are hard and I'm a bit sad I couldn't get a whole army to move ahah

I don't know if there is a way to predict which steps are going to break, but if not this game feels unfinishable and is purely random, considering that the faulty steps seem to change everytime you die...

I agree with NiteZero on this being this jam's cutest game ahah, level design is cool and of course the little penguin reminds me of mario 64. Sound design could have been better, we jump a LOT so having good jumping sounds is a must. The kick and honk buttons are basically useless (but very cute nonetheless). The stunned state is frustrating and probably a bit too sensitive, but it's not really a big issue once you get used to it.

such a goofy intro for a fast paced game! Having several character and weapon choices is nice, the upgrades too, but the timer feels a bit frustrating. The audio part is a little bit rushed. Had fun nonetheless!

Thank you ! I'm really glad you like it <3

you are very right about the lack of danger outside the elevator, maybe I should have made the atmosphere toxic to prevent you from staying outside too long. Anyway thank you!

it's bummer, I don't think anybody else has that issue...

Had a really nice time playing! The controls feel nice, it's beautiful and the music is a really nice touch. I'm a bit sad about the ending which feels rushed, but you can only do so much in 10 days. GG!

there was some effort put into the atmosphere, but other than the menu the game isn't very appealing visually and the gameplay gets a bit boring after a while. The snowstorm pushing you back is a nice touch. It would have been nice to have volume settings!

The message seems pretty bleak, I hope the dev is alright!

Cute game, graphics and audio are well done, it's a shame it's only a basic clicker game...

Such a great game, I wanted to play more but I only stopped to have time for other games! The fat guy was pretty tough though ahah

nice little platformer, visually consistent, the controls are a bit sensitive and the first enemy in the game (the mushroom) is wayy too slow. The random generation is pretty cool considering there always seem to be a valid path to take, so GG!

Really interesting concept!

Having to work with the farmer and nature's side effects was cool

For a few minutes I missread the 0 as an 8 which consused me a little but I guess that's my bad.

I really like the panel that shows the new stats on each turn! Very clear design 👌

Two issues I found is that the first year pretty much always goes the same, and that once you reach year 2 the best option is almost always to grow flowers to get the best score because other resources balance themselves thanks to the side effects.

Pretty fun still ;)

Hi DrDre3k, thank you for your feedback!

You are definitely right about the tutorial, there are too many things happening at once.

The path placing mechanic was very much a WIP when I published it in  v0.13.1, it should be better in the next updates~

I couldn't manage to replicate the issue you had with unselecting, did you play with a mouse or on a touchscreen? To unselect an object you have to right click somewhere else, or do a long press on touchscreen. Let me know if it does the trick ;)

Anyway thank you again, I'll make sure to check on your projects too!

Thank you mate, you did great too!

Really nice experience! I finished the game although fighting against the mosquitoes in the fog of Violetta was difficult. You nailed the atmosphere, the music really puts you in the mood and the storytelling was great! I must say it was hard to find the planets because the black hole was the only entity you could really see from far away, but I guess that's a pretty realistic approach ;) you did a great job

So basically you have to deliver the pizza before the time runs out, but I agree that the timer shouldn't start right away. The customer gets teleported elsewhere once the time's out.

I saw your other comment about chosing HTML for browser playability, which I did when I tried to upload it in the first place, but for some reason itch.io would not let me check the box, so I switched to a downloadable version. Thank you for your feedback

Thank you for your feedback, sorry for the lack of translation, and I'm so glad you got the reference!!

Yeah, sorry about that I was in such a rush I didn't even take the time to translate.

Thank you for trying out!

Thanks!!

I tried but on the edit page there was no checkmark to enable the html player...
