This was an enjoyable play. Tim is a sweet guy, though I'm curious about any other route ideas. The art was appealing, loved the option to flirt with everyone, and that it didn't always go well.

I played this so much when it was on that website. Just did a replay after a long time, because that's how much of a mark it's made on my memory :)
It does get repetitive, but it's just how it goes. Sometimes there isn't any excitement going on. I like that you can choose SFW or NSFW, and that it allows for multiple types of relationships. Would love to see more like this, maybe with some Michael love ;)
Okay! so this has potential. I dont enjoy MC being a pushover about contacting H+S but then we wouldn't have as much plot im sure.
Ive a few guesses as to what could be going on. I did see some incorrect words (2 completely and 1 potentially wrong tense), so I'm wondering if this was a translation piece based on the first 2.
It uses "fabric" instead of.. Factory? bring close by after receiving Ted, and that MC's thoughts "thrift" instead of drift.
The one I'm unsure of is "...a giant H+S with LED lights that was starting...". I think if the word sign was added, it'd be better. Having 3 items use "was" is a bit awkward, but maybe it is grammatically correct.
A little worried at how oblivious MC is about the slip ups and reactions about Robin. hoping for multiple endings with at least 1-2 that dont end up with robin killed 😅
did not expect delivery person to have a model so im suspicious there. wardrobe has 0 options other than default pink. maybe more to come?
couple mistakes so far: drip instead of drop (MC's arm in first meeting), mrs. instead of selected ms. (when accepting promotion), MC name instead of Sophia's when asking if MC was given a hint about food.
overall a short demo but gives a good idea of how it may go and a quick introduction of characters and personality glimpses. im interested in a full version.
I used 7zip. Right click, open with 7zip, highlight all, extract to new folder.
I had to look up how to extract .dmg files as I have never seen one before and there are no instructions on this page. Ive yet to play, but at least now I know i will be able to!
if 7zip doesnt work, it seems there are dmg extracters with free versions.
short but not bad. sweet depending on which ending you choose. I downloaded long ago so i forgot the description and LIs, so seeing Zethe crush on Yuki took me by surprise.
I like that the bad end routes are different from each other as well, and not just swapping one LI for the other! Yuki was a bit annoying, understandably, but he sure didn't want to learn from past mistakes on his own.
i liked that "the human doesn't choose the wish".
Okay, finally got around to this after having it downloaded for a few months.
First of all, no settings other than name+pronouns. Cant change music level, save/load. Hitting main menu by accident immediately brings you back, no confirmation.
Onto the game itself (live notes):
art is good, music is fitting, I like the realism of xenophobia but it's not enough to stop this from being a lighter read.
couple of original human characters so far, which i prefer to canon characters being shoved into ill-fitting roles. They do make off-screen cameos, with 1 exception.
couple of typos, no big deal!
there are some choices, which is where a save function would've been great but you can technically alternate with space/enter+clicking "skip" text. I'll definitely be going back and seeing what the other choices bring. you can also chapter select
cant believe theres no epilogue for the bad ending though, that seems so out of character for mettaton, but it does leave it a bit open ended for imaginative players. I also cant believe that trying to act mostly professional gave me the bad ending 💀
found a guide in comments: https://khywae.tumblr.com/post/171213317544/many-people-have-been-asking-me-for-...
so, i watched manlybadasshero play most of this, but it was so cute and subtly unsettling enough that i wanted to be the one to play.
i loved this, i love the pink and plants aesthetic, and the implied horrors of the world outside and the protagonist before the main event. id definitely play or watch a full version, though i do think short length is ideal. I'd just be interested in knowing what actually happened and the consequences
i did select no to skipping to relevant choices the second time, with "unseen text" selected the third loop, and hit the skip button under the dialogue if thats what you mean.. but I will try new game(s) and play with the settings to see if it does anything different.
also gonna look at the guide so i can get the full story :) thanks~
also! im unsure which folder in %appdata%/renpy is for this game? none share the game's title 😅 there is a "vincent novel alpha" though im unsure if i ever played a game with that name in it.
edit: i couldnt see how to manually delete my save files in-game
i really enjoyed the first loop and the logistics of not knowing anything before being transmigrated into a dating sim!
the only problem im having right now is that even though i selected DO NOT skip to relevant choices, thats all the game is doing. I tried enabling "unseen text" in the skip options but that didnt help either.
Is there a way to fix this?? i wanna skip seen text only, and youre telling me bringing **** to the nurse's office adds 0 new text?? even when **** is at your home?
this is long, apologies.
stan's route made me laugh, especially the karma and just how rage induced ford was.
poor stan and his poor luck!
his route was fun and charming, which is to be expected! Hope to see more of that soft genuine smile
fords route: ngl i looked up the results and id have gotten neutral. think i get why im wrong after thinking for a min though :) wasnt expecting a mini game.
the mini game does tend to clear the folders and id like to understand what im doing to cause that. maybe ill replay another time and figure that out, if it isnt intentional.
gimme more of that blushy man, love how so easily flustered he is.
fiddleford: i do see a misaligned letter in the text box, ive a pic of it, at the diner. theres a few regardless of font setting. very minor but wanted to mention in case the aesthetic is very important.
This was the start of a very sweet sounding route. I liked the touch of memory loss, his frequent doubts that are easily swayed. gentle words and smiles arent gonna be all he needs, but theyre a good first step.
the route felt the shortest of the 4 so far. i like that we got to spend some time with susan too! id love to see her album :)
bill: i liked the first slide's crayon feel.
i was afraid of what his human vessel would look like, but its not bad! Definitely not fully human, they couldve done a lil more research before sending him on his test.. but it is a nice change from the usuals that would not fit with the rest of the games. i dont tend to listen to voices, but his seems to suit.
haa i love he isnt feared, susan embarrassing him.
There is a duplicate word this route, when Ford motions towards El Diablo. "you doubt you'll lose sight of them them."
bill's threats are fun. wonder how extreme theyll get
unrelated: I like the different settings, careers, and fonts/text boxes. it is all tailored to each LI and I can appreciate that. It's more like 4 different games rather than 1 game with 4 options.
it does block bill in his route at times though, i think in that route itd be best near the bottom. that way both he and shorter characters are both visible during conversation. isnt a big deal but it can potentially hide expression changes and kind of looks out of place. i didnt notice it in the other routes but id have to replay to check.
when you hit escape, both save and load have the title card "load". if i try to rewrite a save, it asks if im sure i want to quit?
overall, id be very eager and excited to play a full version of each route. the work and care put into this is obvious <3
