Hello! I'm sorry that it hasn't been working well for you. I can't help but wonder if this is a wifi issue or a browser issue or maybe even an itch.io site outage issue (itch.io seems to go down a lot. I have no idea why.)
The images and audio not loading combined with the fact that the code shown in the error isnt actually my coding that I did, but rather chunks of renpy's base code makes me think the game just refuses to download properly for you. if it continues not to work I would try clearing out your cookies and maybe even using a different browser. I'm sorry for the trouble :( I hope your most recent attempt has been working
okay, that'd make sense as I dont actually have internet and usually avoid browser games, as I have to tether my phone and use my data. Much prefer to download to play offline 😅 less potential issues that way.
what i have been able to play is enjoyable though! had to stop cause it drained my battery, but i do intend to finish the demo over time.

You'd still have to play through it, but it might speed things up.
