Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! The early grindy loop is intentional for this prototype — the idea is that you slowly grind through the early/mid-game, and after a few upgrades the pace really picks up and the end-game becomes much more fun. If you’re curious, here’s a short video showing that phase:

Hello everyone,

my YouTube embeds aren’t showing up. They work great for other games, but for my game they don’t appear. Am I doing something wrong? Is it a bug?

It doesn’t work either in the description or in the designated spot. Could someone please take a look?

Many thanks,

Larsi

Oh, that’s a shame! Have a wonderful trip, and hopefully you can give it another try once you’ve got a mouse. Safe travels! :)

I really like the acceleration based jump mechanic great game! I rated it for the jam, could you rate my game, Rift Miner, as well? That would be fantastic

Awesome game - total Portal vibes right away. Lots of variety in the portals and mechanics, I’m into it. Loved your jam page! I left a rating; wanna check out mine too

Whoa, that’s pretty bloody! :D Loving the controls—they really spice things up. I rated your jam entry - mind giving my game a look too?

Cool idea! You hit the theme really well and it’s fun. I left a rating - mind checking out my game too?

Super impressive for a jam—strong classic Final Fantasy vibes. Fun combat, tons of items, great visuals. I rated your Jam 114 entry. could you check out my game and leave a rating too?

Ahaha, the in-game comments cracked me up-exactly my sense of humor. "Wall" for walls? Brilliant. :D

I rated your jam entry—mind dropping me a rating too? :)

Super fun game! Love the art style, and the in-game logos are 🔥

Quick feedback:

– Turning radius is a bit big.

– An arrow to the delivery spot would help a lot.

– The timer’s pretty spicy - maybe a bit more time? :D

I rated your jam entry. Mind checking out Rift Miner and dropping a rating too? https://larsi-official.itch.io/rift-miner

Really enjoyed Henry’s Delivery Service - big platformer fan here. You nailed the portal theme; I just wish it were longer. I rated it for the jam. Could you check out my game Rift Miner and leave a rating too? https://larsi-official.itch.io/rift-miner 🙏

Love the concept! It’s a little tricky to play solo, but I tried it with my fiancée. I’m into games like this and left a rating for the jam. Would you mind checking out my game and giving it a rating too? https://larsi-official.itch.io/rift-miner

Your game is awesome, and I really enjoy the loop. On my first run, I found the portal as early as day 6, so I was a bit sad that it was over so quickly. On my second run, I found it on day 22 and already had some great upgrades, so I could basically walk right through the rocks :D Keep it up, amazing first game!

Thank you very much for your suggestions for improvement. As a beginner, this helps me a lot to consider them in future projects.

Wow, thank you so much for your extremely kind comment. It was really a lot of work in a very short time. It's only my second game, so I'm even more happy about your appreciation!

Yes that's brutal, sorry for that xD

Great, so I have reached my goal :)

Reminds me very much of the game ALT F4. Good job!

Super creative!

A pretty good hard game. I like the nostalgic charackter of the game very much. Theme hit 10/10. keep it up :)

A nice little prototype. I like the animations and the movement.

nice difficult game, just the way I like it. Keep it up!

there is a bug, if you build a tower too close to another tower, i get a blackscreen. Other than that, I like the game quite a lot.

Super cute game, it was a lot of fun. But the end screen sound is way, way too loud. keep up the good work!

Thank you for your lovely comment <3

maybe the keys W and arrowUp would be a better assignment for the ladder?
