Hi, my HTML5 game was made public on Sep 26 and still doesn’t show up in search or browse (searching the exact title “Two Thrones” returns nothing). I emailed support on Oct 3; ticket #408898. I’ve read the Getting Indexed guide (https://itch.io/docs/creators/getting-indexed) and still have a question.

Page: https://laonmon.itch.io/twothrones

What I’ve checked: the page is Public, has a cover image, plays in the browser, isn’t restricted or marked NSFW, and the AI disclosure is filled in (Code, Graphics, Text). The upload is a small HTML file that loads the game from my own server in a frame. Could that be read as an empty or placeholder upload by the automated check? If so, I’m happy to change it. I’ve stopped editing the page while it’s in review.

Thanks for taking a look.

Update (Oct 5): Boss Raid is live

A new mode is up on the game page. Every four hours (03:00, 07:00, 11:00, 15:00, 19:00, 23:00 UTC; the lobby shows your local time) a giant called the Gatebreaker appears for 60 minutes. You field two units at a time from your deck, and when a red ring appears you have three seconds to land two damage skills and break its slam.

The first clear in each appearance pays 120 gold, twice a day. There’s also a new Showcase tab in the shop: cosmetics bought with gold that never change stats.

How the boss was tuned (and why my first real attempt was a loss): https://laonmon.itch.io/twothrones/devlog/1691691/boss-raid-is-live-a-giant-you-beat-with-timing-not-reflexes

Play: https://laonmon.itch.io/twothrones

Two thrones face each other across a single lane. You spend regenerating mana to deploy units from a 6-card deck, fire each unit’s skill yourself, and try to bring down the enemy throne before four minutes run out. If time runs out, it’s sudden death: the first hit on a throne wins.

What makes it different:

  • Skills are cast by hand. All 20 units have their own skill (piercing snipe, meteor, taunt, shadow-step assassination, carpet of flame). When to fire it is up to you.
  • One of each unit on the field. A unit has to fall before you can deploy it again, so every piece matters.
  • Ground and air. Fliers pass over the ground fight. Skip anti-air and the sky breaks you; stack it and the ground caves in.
  • No card levels, no loot boxes. Units are unlocked with gold earned by playing, and the same unit performs the same for everyone.

Modes: ranked 1v1, a 5v5 team battle mode, a short campaign with a boss stage, free practice and a 5-step tutorial.

Free, no download, no sign-up (play as a guest). Works on desktop; on a phone, hold it sideways. English, Korean and Japanese. No in-app purchases, and no ads in the browser version.

I’m a solo developer. The unit art started as AI-generated images and was cleaned up by hand into sprite sheets (details on the page’s AI disclosure and in the first devlog: https://laonmon.itch.io/twothrones/devlog).

I’d really like to hear what felt off in your first match: too easy, too hard, or anything that looked broken at your screen size.
