The new fix has also made actual performance worse for me, in the wilderness (which might be related to the fighting) and also it's very choppy, which isn't nice at all. It hovers around 3600x for me at 5000x

Something is horribly wrong with constructing the relay in the inner city imperial works.
I have no idea what is going on but time is not advancing properly at all.
Editing to add some more specific information: Time does appear to be advancing when the window is out of focus, but it does so at a pace that is barely a fraction of how fast it should be advancing and while the window is in focus it doesn't seem to be moving at all, unless you spam click a time advancement speed button.
I'm genuinely unsure if cultivating anywhere other than in willowbrook or in the harmonized settlement gives any affinity, I don't notice it go up in for instance, the wilderness, the dual element towns, or even in the imperial city.
It's either that they're broken in this regard, or that they just give so little affinity that it is effectively nothing.
Sound and visual design is stellar, unfortunately this just isn't my kind of game, I don't enjoy falling and losing almost all my progress because I made a few mistakes. The jump physics (aside from the getting stuck on slopes sometimes) are pretty good though and I definitely feel like I have good control over the monkey and not that the game is just being mean to me.
My biggest gripe is the camera though it points into the opposite direction of where I want to jump and it would have been big if I could change it.
Several leaps of faith and not being able to put a swing on the vines really limits this (if you could I did not figure out how), but other than that its alright, due to the way the climbing mechanic worked it was crucial for some jumps to position yourself just right otherwise you would not make it.
A reminder your timer is starting to run out would have been real nice, as well as many other audio cues that I'm missing.
Gamplay is actually quite fun, and I like the concept, though there's a few things that feel against the design, like having to manually press a button 20 times to get the monkeys to open a crate. not good.
Its a bit hard to tell what is going on after you snowball sometimes, the expanding camera and increasing speed as you gather more monkeys does help with this though and by that point its not that crucial anyway.
Overall pretty good!
