Thank you so much!! We hoped to make the visuals worth looking at and we are glad it turned out alright!

I actually loved all of this. This is crazy work for a month. You guys are crazy.
I was pretty engaged from the beginning and I enjoyed all the little interactive bits that the game had to offer. The characters were nicely written and the voice acting really elevated the experience for me! The premise was simple, but the execution of it was great and it had some nice twists. I quickly lose patience with many visual novels, but I never had that problem here.
The only thing I wish could happen are some animations during package collecting, like transition between tiles or eating and there was a part around the end where there was so little sound I thought my game muted for a second, but those are my only (admittedly) nitpicks.
Again, you guys are crazy.
And Lock is a baby. I put him in a box.
This game was really nice and I was really excited to see sylvan some back this year again!!
The artstyle for this was great, I especially liked the little border around everything and the scroll textbox, it really made me feel like this whole game was a story book. The characters were also nicely designed, the creepy lady is my favourite :D The story was just the right amount of dark for me!!
You guys did so good with this!
I had the privilege of reading this beside Haru and experience their reaction, so I can surely tell that you resonated with somebody who understands the experience you were trying to convey.
The tension was great, the artstyle is nice and unique. Its crazy how much you drew for this, this is the visualest novel I experienced in this jam so far. I especially liked that scene where dad looked down on jake, without words even being said, there was so much tension there.
I read that this is the first game that you developed and this is something to be proud of! I want to see more from you!
We are so happy you enjoyed our game!! We put a lot into the art, with us being mostly illustrators and all.
Being compared to a ghibli movie is the biggest compliment we have ever gotten, thank you so much!!
We did get lots of good feedback about how the progression of the story went and we are hoping to improve on that in the next few months. It mostly means making the days a tad bit longer and adding a few things like new maps and improvements on the existing ones.
I was completely hooked after the first minutes of the game. The writing is so fun, it has just the right amount of whimsy (and healthy cringe) that this genre requires and I love that so much. It had everything a magical girl show lover would ever want, the cute art style, funny enemies and a kind of morally ambiguous love interest? boy who bickers with the main character lots.
I found the puzzles interesting too, I wasn't bored for one second of this demo.
There are some minor flaws that need ironing out, like the grammar, dialogue overflow on some places and the fact that a few set pieces the player could easily walk on top of, but you guys have something really good going on.
Im looking forward of the full game!!!
We appreciate that you spent the time to play through our game, saitoki!!
We are aware that our demo is far from perfect, but we made the best we could in the time frame we had. We will do our utmost to improve on the game in the future too, until it is a full, satisfying experience.
Our three-man team is made of two beginners when it comes to making games, so this month was certainly a challenge and a learning curve for us.
We appreciated the feedback, but would it be possible to not spoil parts of the plot in your review without warning?
Thank you for your time again! :D
My friends recommended me to play this game and it did not disappoint. The vibes were great and the upsetting parts got me really good bc of the nice atmosphere. Its a short and sweet game with an interesting premise and even more interesting endings.
That one bgm during the second choice will stay with me for a while--
