Game was broken after going through the main menu.
i'm on AMD RX 6800 and intel cpu.
Won't review as it wouldn't be fair, please ping me if you figure out the issue tho.

Here are the current ones we're working on :
Switching commissions rapidly can crash the radar, changing commissions slowly fixes it.
Some of the salvage items don't load properly, too big, too small, no descriptions.
You can get stuck in the oil rig ladder, that area is still under development tho.
you should be able to see the oil in the open sea, after depositing you get a time skip until you get new mail, the radar detects salvage only, we'll work into making it more obvious ig, we need a better player embarking. maybe we'll put the rig on the radar instead.
thanks for the feedback and reporting the scraping noise bug, we'll fix that soon.
hey i'm one of the devs, a giant oil rig spawns after the first salvage and you have some hints about how to get to it.
to make sure it's not a bug, let me ask you :
did you notice a giant red dot far away pointing you to it ?
did you look around the ship for clues ?
and as Rowan said, we're still updating the game, and you can expect more guidance through what the player is ment to do.
Yeah i get what you mean with the rhythm issue, i wrote a script that creates a tile map based on the tune, but it's not working outside my own configuration it seems. The point was for me to plug it onto an API and have unlimited music, but it's prolly just a terrible idea tbh.
When it comes to the cubes bleep sound, it was a last minute change since i couldn't find anything that fit and i had to release the game asap, and move onto the 20s gamejam.
i'll 100% get back to this and update it, will also release it on mobile. Thanks for the rating and headsup friend !
I showed my game to a bunch of people on linkedin, and they all told me : add a web version to ease the access to it, otherwise people won't review it.
i feel ashamed to say it, but i laze myself out of testing games that require downloading.
i added a web version to my submission, and will get my fingers out to test those that require downloads too, but i suggest folks do the same with the web build for maximum accessibilty and chances of being checked out.
This game kinda got me excited to play, reminded me of the kind of stuff we'd play during class with my college buddies on the browser hehe. Someone prolly said this already, but make the cursor embedded in the browser and maybe look into adding multiplayer with random space related events, and you'll have a game you can release and prolly get a few college kids hooked onto :D
GG
The overall feel of the game was cool, both in mechanics and Art Direction.
I feel like linking the wave system to set a rhythm onto something as fundemental as jumping might just be a bit too frustrating to pickup, i'd like to see it be more of a QTE on the dash thingy that you have to initiate first, so it becomes more an active challenge, then a passive nuisance. (just my 2c on the design, nothing to write home about, gg guys!)
Hey guys,
Am a developper and artist looking to make a visual novel with a lynch vibe / story to it, based on a TTRPG horror game i wrote, i've got an web engine written in typescript, but if people are willing to build something new i'm all in for it and can help.
I'd be glad to work with fans of the genre tho !
