Very, very good! I love what you made with the art direction, translating those Atari-like sprites really well into the modern age. Getting runes is really rare tho and the fact that all of them are random makes it pretty much hard to make a competent build. You guys already made a pick rune, imo that should have been the standard. All in all tho, a massive success

I just read the blog post and just wanted to say: I'm sorry for the hardships you went through and your motivational loss. Still, you made something cool here. You learned a lot, and you thought a lot, which will come in handy for your eventual next project. I really want to emphasize: Design your base game first. You came in with so many Ideas on the first day, it was kinda frightening to read them. I know being excited about something is nice, but it hurts a lot more when you can't accomplish those features. Trust me, I have been there too. But I see that you are talented, and I really hope your next project can give you a little more joy :)
This is probably the best one I've played yet. The connection idea is implemented really well, the level design is unique in each one, and the difficulty is satisfying to go through. The swordfishes are a bit frustrating, though. I know you worked with 2 hitboxes there, but maybe some vector calculations would be better there. ALSO, HOW DID YOU HAVE THE SCOPE TO ADD ANOTHER GAME INTO THIS!?! The funny bone section was way too long tho. All in all very good.
P.S. Yemmep is love, yemmep is life
I love that you made this game with your kids! This is so unbelievably heartwarming! I didn't get that you could pick up the train track again at my first playthrough and thought this would be an incredibly hard puzzle, but after finding it out, my train still went to unknown places known to mankind until I managed to finally arrive at the train station.
Really really good! Gathering spaceships and just going trough the hell of the bullets is really satisfying! I feel like switching trough your spaceships instead of changing shape could have really added too the mechanical skill ceiling.
Also important for bullet hell games is that the bullets itself should be very noticeable. Try giving them a shader next time or make the background less detailed
