Hey everyone — starting a devlog for The Sword Game and planning to keep updates in this thread.

Current build: https://mikemancha.itch.io/the-sword-game

What I’m working on now:

- making sword hits feel clearer/stronger

- reducing awkward movement moments

- improving first-minute readability

If you try the current build, I’d love specific notes on combat timing and control feel. I’ll post the next iteration here with changes based on feedback.

Hey devs — I just put a small action prototype on itch and I’d really appreciate honest feedback before I iterate.

What I’d love feedback on:

- Does combat feel satisfying or too floaty/stiff?

- Are controls clear in the first minute?

- Any points where you felt confused or bored?

I’m especially interested in first-impression notes (even short ones). Thanks in advance — I’ll return feedback on your thread too.

Hey devs, I just released a playable demo of The Sword Game on itch: https://mikemancha.itch.io/the-sword-game Quick summary: - sword-focused action gameplay - currently polishing combat feel + responsiveness - actively patching based on player feedback What feedback I’d value most: - does combat feel satisfying and readable? - any controls/friction points? - first 5-minute experience: confusing spots? I appreciate any blunt feedback — I’m iterating fast.
