Congrats!!!!!!! loved the game and well deserved! glad i got to play it before juniper lol

Thanks so much for your comment! And yes for sure will export for both the web and linux (as i would like to run it on my steam deck too)

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and the comments!

Thanks for taking the time to play! I kinda cheated a little by putting in a "spinning" cursor instead to show the fan is blowing lol :p

Thanks for the comments!

That was a good spin on the news! All the visuals and audio fits well together. The starting animation was a nice addition as well. Good work to the team!

Oh I'll have a look at that. Thanks for commenting and playing!

Nice entry and game play! Honestly I'd rather move away from the destructible doors and instead reload into another closed map, that way the player doesn't have to hunt down rogue enemy spinners that escaped to the previous level. Good work!

That was a bit too fast for me, I think it could be toned down a little (getting to the exit was difficult). But i do get the game play you were hoping for, which was suppose to be fast and filled with movement, and i can see that in the layout design (large open spaces to run). I guess it wasn't designed to be played "traditionally" ie continuous press to move, but instead in bursts ie short key presses?

Nevertheless it's a nice execution to the theme for sure. The visuals and audio were good and so was the UI layout. Good work to the team!

Nice and simple game play mechanic, i played from the browser and the bottom half seems cutoff so i wasn't sure if there was any health bar or score? (would have been good if those were added if missing). Also, seems like the bottom half of the playing field was off limits to the player and if so would have liked it shown visually. Anyway good work on the submission!

Great concept and idea! Thankfully you had both the arrow keys and A/D for controls as i could use both hands to play this (it got too tiring with 1 hand :P). I think if you could zoom out a little more it would have be great, if possible ... you know .. not saying that i want it easier, but if you possibly could ... some time .. in the future... And also needs audio :)

While it might be a simple game it was good fun! I liked the premise and it fits the theme! The visual and audio were good! I did find the fence to be a death trap though, but i prevailed and won! (would be a great addition if you could also add something similar as the starting intro screen for the ending). I did have some problem when the dog got too long, as the visuals didn't follow the head. You might have to zoom out a little more? But good execution and well done!

Hahahaha!

It's simple in premise but good execution. The visuals might look basic but i think it works with the theme you were aiming for, along with the audio. The first round of tutorial was a great addition. I think the controls can be optimized a little, or make it feel slightly more natural? I'm not sure how to put it honestly, maybe it just needs to be a bit more "heavy' or "weighty".  But otherwise good work!

That was an interesting game mechanic! It kept me hooked and engaged throughout, good work here! The tutorial at start was a good addition, it helped to know how to both control and progress in the game play. Also the quick access key binds were a good idea. And nice piano composition :)

This is well polished! I liked the visuals and game mechanics. It was a simple premise (just spin and shoot) but having the other elements like air use, upgrades, etc really made the whole package better. Also the inclusion of the difficulty setting was awesome. I'd love some background music though, and hope you can include that in the future.

Some thoughts: I think it's better to be able to spin both ways though you'd probably have to balance this. There's at least a better sense of control from the player if you allow for this. You could also add different gun styles? like beam vs projectile with different damages?

 Well done!

Not too sure how this works, cause i always seem to be winning? The theme is there, but needs some work. Then again 24 hrs is not a whole lot of time. And lol you were cutting it slim on the deadline, but glad you manage to submit on time!

I HAVE KIDS AND I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!!!!! Top notch starting, introduction and ending sequence! This was really great fun!

Man i wished i had a controller with me for this. Great game, great execution. Simple but effective game play! The visuals and music did give the gameboy flavor (am sure if i had a gameboy this would have been perfect!). Solid entry and great work DESPITE the limited game jam time!

I was a nice concept and idea; though honestly felt a bit hard considering you have to deal with controlling the ball while enemies are shooting back and finding yourself chained to said ball. It would have been probably easier if the enemies were only melee type to start with. Still great work for being able to have both art and spaghetti up within the limited time!

Haha good arcade fun! Nice execution and theme!

*Background audio could be lowered :)

It's an interesting concept, though honestly i couldn't fully "feel" the car itself. I think the responsiveness feels sluggish and probably needs to be more sensitive.  Also that spinning tube was brutal, i couldn't get past that :P But a good concept to further work on and good work neverthelss!

Interesting game play concept, I liked the balance between the building pressure and controlling the valve, though once that's figured out it does become monotonous. I think may be further on you could add in some obstacles or disturbances to the game play. For sure it's a good foundation for more fun! Good work!

The visuals and audio were nice and matches well with the theme (though some light background music would have been nice). Game play though was a bit chaotic; I found myself just spamming the E key and earning money that way. Probably could have started with just 1 customer and slowly build up from there, as the game space was all jammed up with customers. Still good work nevertheless!

The controls were a little hard; i would have liked to be able to separately activate direction and strength instead of it being tied to 1 input. Not sure how left clicking work? I also feel the friction needs some fine tuning. But it was a good puzzle platformer; and the concept was interesting! Good work nevertheless!

Cute little tank game, though a bit punishing cause you could only charge forwards to attack which exposes the player to direct enemy fire. I guess  that's the concept, but maybe add a buff that can address this. Needs audio :) And also to indicate that it's space bar only to control.

Not to take away from the seriousness of the game's theme, but that CRT monitor was a cool effect :) Visuals and audio was great, and it's a great concept of placing bets on words while gambling, on the topic of gambling. I'm just unsure on 3 game play aspects; 1) how does choosing a personality type affect the game? I'm not sure if there were any advantage/disadvantage behind the scenes (it would have been great to show those on screen). 2) Were the bets on word choices completely random? Or was i suppose to bet on the probable outcome of the conversation? Or bet on the words that matches the thought bubble of the player?

All in all, tt's a good game and it's well polished, and it's a great job by your team!

That's was a great take on spinning! Funny that it was surprisingly hard for my brain to turn left than turn right. The mechanics were fun and great! But i would have loved to have some player feed back via audio more; like rubber burns while drifting; a strong blast during the boost, crashes, etc. The back ground music didn't quite hit the note for me. Overall, an enjoyable game still :)

It's a start! I can't say i can give a good rating but this is something you can build on after the jam for sure. Maybe add in some weather elements to increase/decrease the chances of customers buying? Would also be great if you can add some feedback to the player during the selling phase. Anyway, good work to be able to post it up despite the limited time you had!

Naw man, I wouldn't call it shallow, there's a good foundation there!

ya good idea! its like a difficulty setting then. can also add for 2P with your kids, or even 4P for the whole family!

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks for your nice comments! and yes for sure will add something to address that :)

Nice and cute implementation of the horde slasher!

I think both the visuals and music suits this theme very well. Although honestly i'd love have to it play longer, and with more endings than the 2 at present so it did feel linear. Maybe 1 way to alleviate the linearity  would be to randomly reposition the answers. But either way good work with the limited time you had!

Lol ya a little more instructions should have been put in, totally agree ... and yes that gap was intended :) Thanks for playing though!

The theme was great, and that fatality ending was a great addition! But would have loved to have some further gameplay elements, hope those are in your future plans.

Just rated it, it was a good game you have there! https://itch.io/jam/theveryseriousjuniperdevgamejam/rate/4711028

Well that was a unique multitasking experience! I liked the overall theme and aesthetic; the visuals and music used were perfect for it. I'd still like some further feedback though on the UI, as to which object demanded attention when it failed (maybe something like a temporary light up would be sufficient). But it's still fun and challenging! Good work to the team!

What a lovely game. But honestly, I was initially frustrated with the jump/glide timing (until i used both hands to play); i think this can still be tweaked a little? But once i got over the timing it was death from above mode for me! (darn pigeons) The level design was challenging; sufficiently so  ( if I'm not wrong on the 2nd level on the first real long jump between the 1st and 2nd pigeons.) Visuals and audio/music were pleasant, and matched the theme very well ... especially the umbrella flutter.

Good job all!
