The mod has been updated to work with Didnapper 2 version 1.2.5 (the latest and likely final version of the game)

Super delayed. Sorry I don't check this page often :P

Chuck all the files in this folder to your Didnapper 2 save folder (Didnapper 2/www/save):

I will never spend the time required to make this mod compatible with Yuti's mod. Yuti is welcome to take my stuff and add it to theirs if they'd like but I simply don't have the time and Yuti's mod is huge... there would be a lot of conflicts. Sorry!

Hello everyone! I've verified between many different people and machines and the mod is working properly. If you go to Pendragon and nothing happens, then something is wrong. It is almost certainly one of four things:

1. You're not playing on the latest version of didnapper 2 (version 1.2.4)

2. You haven't properly installed the mod (check to ensure you are actually playing the modded version you created, not the base game itself)

3. You haven't completed all the required quests

4. You have installed another mod that conflicts with this one

Triple check your installation as that seems to be the most common issue

You can use this save file to ensure you have the right quests completed as well: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1APFlArBFCMk0zYwwiQbKj0cqctHKfGqp?usp=sha...

And what version of the game are you running?

It looks like the Letovi map isn't reading the mod info since the captain isn't there... are you running any other mods?

If you fast travel to port letovi, then head up toward the ships, it should give you a cutscene automatically. Can you take a picture of your quest log and show me exactly what it says?

What part of the mod are you at?

New update out with a simple fix for the bug some people found that would cause the player to enter a loop at Port Letovi in certain circumstances.

Yes, it's working for everyone else so maybe instead of being angry and lashing out at someone who's providing free fun content to people you ask for help like a person who can communicate? I'm happy to help troubleshoot!

If all the conditions are met and it's not working then you may have installed incorrectly. Most likely scenario is when you installed the mod you nested the folder in a copy of itself. I.e. it should be:

Didnapper 2 > mods > patches > TheApprenticeMod1.0.5 >  audio, data, img, js folders

as opposed to

Didnapper 2 > mods > patches > TheApprenticeMod1.0.5 > TheApprenticeMod1.0.5 > audio, data, img, js folders

The mod is now compatible with the final version of didnapper 2 (1.2.4)

I appreciate that; thanks!

Yeah, there is some weird behavior with the springs I couldn't quite completely figure out before I ran out of time.

I was really close to adding a spelunky-like whip to be able to knock enemies back but I just ran out of time... watchya gonna do :)

Thanks for the feedback; cheers

One of my favs for sure! I liked the ridiculous idea. My only gripe is I wish the enemies on screen were bigger so I could appreciate the nice artwork!

Honestly it was a little confusing as a player but I do like the idea!

Liked the idea! Variety of enemies was kind of nice. Those dang hands were pretty annoying haha. Except when they were chasing me I enjoyed the long press to jump platforming mechanics

I like the idea. Was a little confused if I could capture patrolling guards or not but managed to luck my way into finding the countess really early on. Thanks for sharing!

Never played papers please but now I think I might have to! This is super well done; crazy polished for a week game. Ya'll did great! I hope you turn it into something bigger :)

Some really fluid pixel art you got there!

holy shit when that music drops though lmao I love it

Thanks for playing! First time using godot so it was fun to learn the basics :)
