glad doing some short stories helped! it can be hard sometimes but if not having fun then why do it.

totally understandable. I use to write stories and a lot of ideas down on my laptop many years ago and write on paper. On year on my birthday my laptop decided to murder itself and there was stories I didnt have saved anywhere else and lost them. And that event caused me to have a hard time writing stories or even ideas and it's been many years already.

Another different thing was I used to draw and my brain got to a point of I could imagine something but couldnt make it. And my brain got so stuck on not being able to make it perfectly and how I imagined that I couldnt really draw at all. I got a little bit of my fun back by coloring in coloring books with gel pens as cant make it perfect but still have fun.

So take time do something that gives back the fun without worrying how it is. Maybe doing a small short story about something silly? Dont have to post it but just something to enjoy. Maybe a page long 3 ish paragraphs or less. One I did was more a convo and some short between two people and its a little silly and goofy but makes me happy. Havent posted it anywhere but share it with some friends (years later but) It just gives back some fun.

i used to be able to use my name that was a character’s name and now i cant even input my name it tells me “this name is not allowed to be used. Kindly input a different one” i know its a name of a character but its my name i should be able to use it thats really frustrating. Can this be fixed? I would like to actually use my name.

maybe try again it looks like Frozenstar redid the downloads? or at least did something as it says 4 hours ago (at the time im writing this.)

haha not the only one. im also surprised not the only one but that just shows how amazing the creator of this is. 

same and i come back randomly hoping they have made or worked on a new game haha

if still having issues you might have to wait awhile, the creator is doing a rewrite of season 1. (not positive as hasnt looked deep into it but there might be some rewriting to season 2 (just my guess based on rewrite of season 1))

so i was looking for a IF that played demo before (havent found that one yet) but while looking i opened tabs of ones ive played parts of before just to check for updates and i see that this is a full game so guess its time to play this! haha

shouldnt of even posted until had a bit more ready. but good luck on the future of this. hopefully it turns out well

story so far seems interesting but so many bugs but its early in development. :)

I also feel crazy cause not the Helios thing but another part of the story im like why this isnt the same, wheres the thing?  (like specific event thing), went to look at updates see if maybe removed or someone else said something. and i saw your comment and im like huh weird we both remembering something that isnt there.

well finished it and still didnt see what i remembered and now im thinking theres another one im like mixing together in my head and i looked through all my favorited for like text-based games and i cant find it. XD so im like did i dream it? i also faintly remember artwork for it again i looked at all the favorited and i like even separate into different folders so should of been easier to find and nope.

so yeah so odd. hopefully we both find the one we are mixing up with this one haha

as someone who also either stops doing something or the joy goes out of it by saying okay im going to focus on this and work on it. take time I would say dont post updates to the rewrite until you are almost finished or if you feel like you still possibly wont finish it at that point to wait until finished.

Because you said you are rewriting will you have some people comment: "is it still being worked on" ignore those. all it will do is add pressure to you. dont worry about letting people down. if you update a lot and get more people interested, and get burned out and not finish that will let down people more.

SO INSTEAD just work on it for fun when you feel like it. dont update the game on here just focus on having fun and writing the story. And one day whether a few months or years later being like surprise here is the full story/game. (I also havent shared stories or interactive stories yet because I also get burned out or just cant figure out what to do next and I dont want to let others down)

Also see what works best for you writing wise. I personally notice trying to get ideas or writing on my laptop is a lot harder than writing ideas that pop into my head on my phone. And if i have a lot for an idea i write it on paper first and then later add it to my laptop. I just seem to get more ideas when i just have paper in front of me versus if its a laptop.

any new update? cant say exactly how often this game comes across my mind but at least 5 times in a year if not more i am like i wonder if that game is any closer to completion.

I really like this demo. The characters are so cute and wonderful. Also one of your scene just pulled at my heartstrings. The one where you could dance with Peter. Like I already liked him. I liked a lot of them didn't super have a favorite but that reaction from him omg my heart. I replayed that one scene like 4 times just to see his reaction. I really cant wait to get to know more about the characters and their like backstory. (even if it doesn't get to far into it. It's nice to just know why they act a certain way sometimes.) Anyways I cant stop thinking of that reaction from Peter.

I really like the concept and would love to play it. I am wondering though if there will be a option to turn off all the animation? I know in the demo you can turn off the background and the MC sprite. But the animation of other characters is actually making it really hard to just play the demo. I think it's a great thing to put in the animation for players. But I also hope there will be an option to turn it off for players who might not have the best computer or laptop to run the game on.
