Hi! I would like to rescind my criticisms of the difficulty from before because Joel's streaming it right now and as far as I can tell, for whatever reason, the air meter when I was playing was dropping like three or four times faster than his is on stream, like it was barely possible for me to get to the first air bubble and back without dying, but on stream Joel just went straight down, grabbed a 15, and rose to the surface with like half of it left - obviously we're well after the jam now, but I thought I better update that upon seeing how the game is MEANT to play

No idea why it played the way it did for me

i think the main problem i was having was the air capacity, it seemed the only item i could access was the shallowest one on the left, anything lower than that and i just didn't have enough air to make it back up in time, even with the bubble generator right there - i might've just got insanely unlucky with the bubble spawns or something or maybe it was possible but super precise, but the effect in the end was that i kinda just had to wait for that one i could safely access to respawn to grab and sell. i'm still not sure if the game was supposed to work like that honestly, it felt like there might've been something weird on my end or i was just playing it wrong lmao

again, that's an otherwise small nitpick in a game that is mechanically very fun, and has really cool ideas behind it, big fan of the selling system with the increasingly difficult combo for the multiplier and of course it's funny to see which bootlegs you've managed to fish up - i don't mean to lay into one small point when there's so much to praise here

Fun little game, kinda wish it wasn't so CBT at the start when you're basically waiting around until you can afford the air tank, but otherwise cute and enjoyable and all that other juicy stuff

Tuna Tuesday never

In the wise words of those before me, "catWiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle CatPls waggle waggle waggle waggle CatJam bop bop catKiss bip bip catKiss boop"

But for real, great work Pixel, absolutely nailed the bootleg theme and love the references and memes in the music, awesome job

(1 edit)

At first I was thinking "well I hope this gets harder" and well I got what I wanted LUL

I do wish there was a little more to do besides the one level but for what it is it's fun and it's cool to see various bootlegs pop up and go "that's one i know!", the skeletons are a great surprise

I really hope Joey gets to play this one on stream, it'd already be a fun segment but the ability to use your own video it's what makes it prime stream fodder

manipulated fetish content

I don't know what I was expecting from the description and thumbnails but I was very pleasantly surprised, love the short and sweet arcade-y Kirby Air Ride-esque gameplay loop and the cutscenes are a blast, skeletons abundant, really cool stuff

Incredible art, really fun gameplay, just wish it didn't require changing the desktop scaling to show the whole game on screen (though, it's not as if that's a chore to do, takes like 10 seconds to set it and change it back lmao), maybe just add a bit of text on the game page to include the info that you replied to the first comment with? I wouldn't have been able to do much of any playing from the executable if it wasn't there

Right off the bat the controls/movement are real fun, enemies exploding on death is super satisfying, and i like the concept of the recharging nuclear weapon. One thing I've noticed is that your ammo doesn't reset if you fall out of the world/restart - not the biggest deal with the nuclear but I figured it was something you'd probably want to be aware of if it wasn't intentionally done like that lmao

Again, awesome stuff, very fun
