Thank You! I do plan to continue developing this game some time after the Jam finishes! I'm glad you enjoyed!

Cool! It works. Pretty solid game for the most part. Few bugs here in there but fun.

To fix Itch.io build not working, try rebuilding with an uncompressed file.

To fix passing through walls, consider using rb.velocity instead of transform.translate

Just an easy way to find your way back home lmao. Implemented it when I only about 20 min left and realized that I got lost while play testing.

If I had more time I would have definitely added a tutorial and maybe a quest system. Glad you enjoyed though!

Good game but the movement was too fast. also you cant move when attacking/making platform. few bugs here and there.

Game is broke. Prob because u r using a compressed file. One of my games did that before

Love the Idea! This was actually very fun!

Doesn't follow theme/item! Also, isnt this just rip off fruit ninja?

not too sure where to go on some levels

Cool mechanics but a few levels felt a bit too precise to be "fun" even though it was enjoyable

Good game but does not fit the theme for the jam.

Nice art and music! The game play kinda felt like an aim trainer though. Maybe more mechanics would make it exciting to play.

Really cool idea! I really liked ur music

Here is mine: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jame-gam-8/rate/1449615

I'll check urs out!

Yea i definitely suck at art lmao

Nice!

Hmm... Pretty confused at what is happening here. Did u perhaps not go outside the hut? Also yes the cancel button is broken and there are a few bugs here and there but it shouldn't be bad enough to inhibit gameplay.

I use Unity

That would be fine. Thank You! I know it is possible to add late projects to jams though, Mini Jam 101: Limit had a system for this. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Edit: I did find this link, idk if it helps https://itch.io/updates/enhancing-jams-late-submissions-and-entry-editor

Hey man! I was working on my project until the last minute and It just took forever to build, would it be possible for you to manually add it in since I missed the submission time by a few minutes? Thank You!

Here is the link to my game: https://kevz3742.itch.io/absolute-zero

Ok, thank you!

Hi, my friend and I new new to Game Jams and we were wondering how we were supposed to team up. Would we both enter the jam but only submit from one account? Or is it fine to just enter from one account?

This was a fairly fun game, I really liked the concept of switching the ground between solid in liquid.

Tips(please don't feel pressured to do these as they are my personal opinion):

1) Bugs
 - You can fall through the platforms if you  hid them from the right angle
 - Im gonna guess that you are using transform.translate for your character movement because that is what I associate that bug with, consider using rb.velocity instead.

2) Level Design
 - The level designs are a bit funky and don't really bring out the most of the switching ground state concept.
 - On the last level I basically was yoloing until I dropped in the right place which really docked my enjoyment. In other words, It was hard to see where I was supposed to go in some levels which is a common issue in platformers. Consider adding arrows.
- Consider making the levels longer and harder while making some jumps only possible with the state switch(like lvl 1). Otherwise it feels like just a normal platformer or just state switching(like lvl 4 i think).

3) Movement and Key Choices
 - Maybe switch out "alt" for a more common key like "enter" or "shift".
 - There were multiple times where I was trying to enter the door but was hitting the wrong key.
 - The Jump felt just a bit low.

4) Themes
 - Just a common theme that may work well but you could consider changing metal to ice as water kinda freezes into it and it makes a bit more sense.

Other than that, I really enjoyed you're game! Hope my tips Helped!

Give my game a try if you would like: https://kevz3742.itch.io/elemental-arena

Was going to add landform and enemy health bars + flash red when take damage but I ran out of time lmao. ty for the feedback though!

I feel you! This was my first game jam. At first, i created a very clean combat system and concept idea that just deteriorated as art and scope creep took up all my time. Pretty sure my shop system doesn't even upgrade the right spells lmao. Here is the game if you would like to play it and see for yourself: https://kevz3742.itch.io/elemental-arena

this was my first game jam, https://kevz3742.itch.io/elemental-arena, procrastinated, buggy, but its something

any way to start from ep 4?

just started playing it, and the game seems to heavily steal plot from one of my favorite anime: Masamune-kun  no Revenge. If you haven't seen the show, I can understand why you would enjoy the game, but if it wasn't for the sex scenes, I wouldn't be playing this at all–It feels too sacrilegious.

all i can say is masamune-kun no revenge

Is there a way i can contact you privately? I new to game dev I have a question about a topic you posted a long time ago.

Thanks for the hard work! Keep it up!

how long til next update?

hmm... looked more like fruit of grisaia to me but im not sure

what is the anime jessica and mc watch in episode 2? looks familiar
