Interesting idea and great execution, if a bit punishing at times

Wow this game jam is filled to the brim with such creative ideas :O

Love how deceptively simple the game is at first. It's amazing how a few combinations of items can lead to so many interesting outcomes :D

Wonderful graphics, creative gameplay, and even... a bucket :0

Forget best game in this jam this is one of the best puzzle games I've ever played. It squeezes so much out of the concept of a looped level that I'm still in awe how it was submitted an HOUR before the deadline.

Every time you think it's hit you with its last secret it blows you away again.

The music is wonderful, I love all the little touches that play when you discover a secret or when you're (spoilers, but if you know you know).

Oh, and once again kryppers demonstrates their fantastic pixel art skills extend beyond minecraft mods :3

(Hell yeah still got it in me)

5/5s on everything i love it (and i am also apparently a jedi now?)

that last level was such an adrenaline rush to complete. Honestly, y'all deserve to be a winner, and if you don't I'd still love to see this become a full game.

really crisp animations and visuals, catchy music, and very noice gameplay.

I like it a lot :O

I love the ancient arcane vibes juxtaposed with the gameplay of a rubber snek nomming its own tail :3

The black and white photo version of the final ouroborous is a nice touch, and I love how it the sneks just implode upon contact with a planet.

soooooar adorable!

Insane levels of polish and sound design, well done everyone who worked on this! ! !

truly the question of all time

Couldn't complete one of the levels, but i love the art and i think the idea is wonderful. Could use some polish, but overall a very good entry :D

Great concept, although a bit tedious at times.

Creative use of the colored "loopands" although they are at first a bit hard to understand.

The artwork is well done and charming. I personally love the snail guy you play as :D

I think the game could use more polish and a few more puzzles where the way you die matters, but besides that I enjoyed this game very very much.

Very cool concept, although i feel like some concepts (such as the yellow loopands) could've been explained better.

Besides that, I love the concept of using past versions of yourself to help progress :D

honestly gonna bookmark this one its really quite good

VERY addicting game loop, nice art, and fun idea of defending your gear instead of yourself :3

The art is very cool and creative, but I lost the boulder before anything interesting could happen, unfortunately.

unfortunately, i didn't have a controller to test it with :<

also i won so many battles because the tanks wouldn't stop shooting their own troops lol

Me defeating 3 snowmen battalions and a tank with a single elven guard:

Yah I didnt have enough time to implement proper softlock detection, but ideally it would depend on the scenario

Sometimes if you fall into a pit you can use a rope to escape, but if you somehow left all your ropes behind it becomes impossible.

Not to mention, if you forgot your ropes, you can still go back and collect them to break the softlock. But if they're in an unreachable spot, you're screwed.

NO MAC?????

Interestingly, the gravity puzzles utilize a function called holonomy which is common among non-euclidean games. Technically, this game is on a giant non-euclidean world.

no

If you complete (most) of the game, you barely escape and make it to the expo. The bad ending is you -> ded

yeeeahhh, don't think about it too much. I swapped to godot anyways

Here's an interesting story. You see, I was going to make a boss (hence the b), but you know, game jams are game jams. So instead I made a level that is unbeatable, and two endings depending on whether you actually beat the game or just level-hopped through the level select.

Can't believe that jonas a game dev made such a good puzzle game!

errrr. Oops, I miswrote. You actually press space to shoot...

slightly different systems

Yeah, I couldn't figure out what was causing the crashes

I like it ! Totally not because of my uncurable gambling addiction!

yeah, listen to the below comment. Hope you can make it work!

Nice concept. Very simple, but also quite intuitive. Like it!

Very casual. Like it!
