I made this topic for New creators so that their game can be searchable and can be shared with their friends without any issues after they published it.

But, this topic is never meant for real suspicious creators and scammers whose sole intention is to upload malicious files and evade security checks.

This topic is a Awareness for new creators on itch.io to Avoid getting their game Accidentally flagged by security system and being unindexed and quarantined 

Make sure that you agreed to terms and conditions before publishing your game 

1. Don't publish your game before uploading your game file
2. Don't make frequent changes in your game page as this might trigger the security system to automatically flag your game as Suspicious 

Oh no, my game got unindexed:

Don't worry, this is not a bit serious issue like getting quarantined.

 To get this issue recognised by Moderators, Try:

• Contacting Support
• Sharing your game to your friends
• Creating your own post regarding this issue to be recognised by Moderators 

Note: It takes time in order for this issue to be recognised by Moderators and Admins 

Oh no, my game page got Quarantined:

Don't panic in these type of situations, the warning appears like:

Am I right?

This warning appears only for others and not for creators. 

So, this warning is bit hard to find as this triggers when others download your game and not for yours

To get this issue recognised by Moderators, Do this:

• Don't ignore this warning because, ignoring this warning won't relieve your from being quarantined 
• ASAP contact support and post your comment regarding this issue to Moderators (with formal behaviour)
• State your previous actions with more details that you have done before your game got Quarantined 
• State your issue to Moderators with respectful manner
• State your file such as: .exe , .app , ELF, .zip , .rar, .apk , ...etc.,

Note: It takes time for this issue in order to be recognised and resolved by Moderators and Admins

Sir, can you please make it clear about "And next time please make your own topic instead of hijacking someone else's." In your reply

Do you mean that using free assets (CC0) is illegal or naming my game "Sick Knight's Dusky Adventure" is hijacking others game title ?

First of all, I named my game as "Sick Knight's Evening Adventure" and later turned into "Sick Knight's Dusky Adventure".

This game title was created by me and these changes have made before exporting my game from godot to itch.io.

I'm new to itch.io and even new to game development.  

I thought that uploading games on itch is peaceful. but because of some scammers, the security system flags newly published games to be quarantined and this really saddens me a lot

my page is quarantined and it shows like this:

My game only has downloadable executable file and there is no other file other than this, my tags are appropriate. I downloaded my own game and tested it by running the .exe in my computer and it runs as usual

My page isn't found when I searched on itch.io and it's been a week since I uploaded my game, Is there is any issue in my game page or in my download section

If there is any issue in my game page, let me know about changes that need to be made by me.

Note:

If you used the pause menu and your player got struck after entering a stage, do this:

• Pressing the esc or p in the keyboard will resume the game when got struck 

This occurs due to Engine and Time scale factor in the script and I will resolve this issue in the future updates! 

And don't forget to report me any bugs so that I can continue to work on this game after my final school year!
