incredibly satisfying deck builder! i thought the shop thing inbetween the levels was similar to something like balatro lol but nonetheless this is really polished and fun! good work!!!

amazing art style and i love the polish! i can see the inspirations of a certain recent imax movie here lol. i really love the voicelines and the starting cutscene. difficulty spikes are super apparent but overall amazing polish and overall well done. scored 1300 :]

i love the artwork and i love how the game pans out to reveal the additional computer screens, it really nails teaching the player the mechanics without needing a “how to play” (although the fact you added it anyway was really nice!) overall a really nice game!

60 seconds is a tight window but i did eventually get it. i would have loved to see an in game tutorial and unfortunately the vigenette near the end was a bit much on the eyes :( nonetheless still an interesting game!

tutorial font was very unclear, movement was stiff… i got the concept but it could have definitely been executed better unfortunately, especially the darkness level. good first submission though!

fun little meta game and the intro tutorial was very nice! the minigames were a bit repetitive though unfortunately. underscores and capitalization definitely tripped me up haha, out of 3 runs i got to 85% and unfortunately never beat the game :(

simple and fun little puzzle game. i felt inputs were a bit stiff at times and a bit of input buffering would have made it nice (maybe prematurely ending the animation on input) but nonetheless still a nice game

stiff feeling movement and incredibly high ttk but it gets progressively easier with newer weapons. fun game!!

theres a bossfight btw guys 😁😁😁😁😁😁 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 😁😁 😁😁😁😁😁

super fun rhythm game(??? kind of), kinda like crypt of the necrodancer in a way lol. impact frames are always a fun thing and the tempo going up and down kept me on my feet. fun game :]

oh man total cruelty squad vibes, love it, though mouselook was incredibly buggy on my end :(

interesting combat. really short but i love the audio and artwork

my high score was 142,000

seems pretty fun but starts pretty slow. trying to balance health, hunger and thirst especially with the 7g pricetag for food is tough

STEVEN IS BACK

super fun game but i feel like there should have been at least some sort of way to finetune the rotation of the dwarf, that or you could’ve bound it to the mouse

either way really cool and i love it

anyone got a discord/forum/whatever that i can use to talk to other players? there’s gotta be more than just me playing this hahahahha

woooaaahhh

this is a bulk version which does not include DRM allowing for schools to put them on their computers

For this jam, I wanted to make a cool shooter. Turns out Unity was corrupted, I was forced to use something like Godot or Game maker, I’m not used with those engines but what I am used with is Twine. A story game engine. Check it out! https://eclips-e.itch.io/there-is-a-noise

I had fun making the achievements and story, and I’m looking forward to seeing what you guys have created. Feel free to post your jam games here!

Amazing game, great mechanics, atmosphere was great, I loved it.

Here’s mine!

Thanks for the feedback!

neither do you lmao

les goo!!!

I finally finished my game. I had a whole week of school and so much homework. The trick is to not sleep.

Just kidding, I managed my time and I prioritized my school over the N8Jam, I got all my homework done on Thursday and I had a free day on Friday. I feel so great

Fun gameplay! I got stumped on Level 5 but still. Nice work on the particles!
