Very nice! I wasn't expecting the mushroom collection minigame and it was very funny. I love the management aspect and turn-based game! A well-done game with a cool concept and great execution :) Well played!

AAAAAAAAHH
I really loved the game, the concept, the characters, their little stories, but I honest to god couldn't figure out how to get that damn chicken out of the way and got stuck on Wednesday
I might come back later to try to get to the bottom of the story, but I need to exteriorise my temporary frustration at that wood plank
But yeah, like others have told before, amazing game. I love that you managed to develop both the storytelling and the gameplay, that is simple but enticing. Amazing work :)

So fun! I love the concept, and the graphisms are super nice. I love your artstyle! It's super fun to move the bugs around. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what we were supposed to do with the stick

Loved your game and its feeling :) Great work!

Only got to 2500 but yesss I love this kind of game! Very easy and relaxing to play, and the satisfaction from putting the right piece at exactly the optimal place is unmatched. I really liked your little comments on the score at the end ^^

Very nice game, I just tested a fast-paced stressful game and this was very nice to come back from the adrenaline. Very good job!

This is AMAZING
The music is perfect for the game, game feeling is great with all the little animations, the tension is perfect and the random grids make for very good replayability! I don't know exactly why but this really worked for me as an arcade game, like I felt like I could go further and further and player for a good amount of time. Very good job, presentation, polish and game/level design. A lot of arcade games are made in jams because it's in theory infinite content, but your is one of the best I've seen yet. Really wanted to keep playing!

Others said it before but the music and the sound effects are so fun :) I saw your progress on the Discord and I am very happy to see the final result! I got the wave bug and couldn't progress further, but if you fix it let me know, I really want to play the "final" version of the game!

Great idea, very cute art and sounds, good vibes all around. Well done!

Amazing game! Super clean and polished, I loved all the little mechanics. Great use of the theme and limitation and very well done. The sound design is super nice and really adds welcome feedbacks when playing. My favorite element of the game was the little pirate head next to the life bar. Very good job, this is a very nice jam game!

A very nice little game with a fun concept and an entertaining music ! I did all three levels and I had fun! I was a bit sad to see that the score calculation does not work, but I had a lot of fun. The game might be a little easy when there is only one island left, but I think other people already said so. Maybe giving a bonus score the more island the player keeps alive?
Overall, very good job, loved the game :)

On the tile you are standing on ^^

The game really does need a tutorial in the end, my beta-testers were wrong x)

Sounds like the game is more confusing than intended x)

You are always looking at the tile that is in front of you, not the one you are standing on. Using the left and right arrows made you turn on yourself and look at another tile without moving. You need to try to understand where you are on the map using the configuration of the tiles around you. If that helps, you always hear the sounds of the tile you are on ! So if you manage to identify them, that can help.

Thank you for taking the time to play and to leave a comment, it means a lot :)

Hi ! Thank you for taking the time to play my game ! I understand that the way the map works can be a bit confusing.

The most important bit of information is that you don't see the tile you are on but the tile that is in front of you. The left and right arrows make you turn without changing tiles. So if you are standing on a forest next to the sea, you will see the beach view. Hope this clears up things and you can enjoy the game ^^

Thank you so much! It means a lot that you loved the game (and that you even remember me from previous jams, that was a while ago!)
I've added some more levels in the meantime, you can give it a try if you want! I had so many ideas for the game, I possibly couldn't fit them all in the span of a week end. I'm not sure the new levels are as challenging as I would have liked, but level design is hard x)
I'm glad you enjoyed playing my game! See you in a next jam!

Thank you for coming back and congratulations for solving the last levels! I have delayed my answer quite a bit because I was working on some new levels. They didn't end up as challenging as I would have liked, but maybe you'll enjoy giving them a try :)
Thank you for your comment! I'm so happy you liked the game!

Simple but cute and effective! The drag and drop to go up and down was a bit buggy, maybe scrolling would have been easier. I burned all the flowers before picking them up :'(
The idea to move the sun was fun, and I loved how the plant changed color when it needed water. Good job for a fun little game!

There are powers available from level 4 and on! Look at the right of the screen, the button with two pink arrows. You can click once to activate the power, and then click on two amino acids to swap their positions. If you get stuck in a level, the button with a "?" displays a hint, but it's easy to miss. Thank you for taking the time to play and leave a comment!

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad you found the game cute. If you got stuck at any point, you can display a hint by clicking the "?" button above the validation button. But I have to agree that itwasn't very clear... Thank you for taking the time to play and leave a comment!

Probably my favorite game so far! I got a good score in all levels, the last one was so hard! I love the way you used the limitation, and I had a lot of fun. The art is cute, the sound effects very nice and the music suits the mood! Very impressive that you did all of it, it's amazing! Amazing job :)

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you liked it. Did you manage to get pass level 6 in the end? There's a little hint for each level when clicking on the question mark above the validation button, in case you need some help :)
Thank you for your feedback!

(1 edit)

At first I was very discouraged but pushed through and managed to solve all the puzzles! I got the trick on the first four for sure, but for the last one I'm not so sure. I actually managed to solve it by accident and then spent a long time trying to understand the mechanics. I think I got it but I would love to get the confirmation because there is one unclear point that undermines my theory. I loved this game! The puzzle with the cup I solved at random though, and I understood after why it worked x)

Amazing game and very creative puzzles! I can understand how they would be a bit tough for a game jam, but actually if you do more puzzles like that I would be thrilled to try them out!

Ok the controls were not easy to understand at first, as the game is cropped for me (I think it's supposed to be vertical but it is squared because of the website's template). When I understood the concept I started having a lot of fun. The game is stressful in a good way, as the laser gets closer I can feel the panic building in (in a good way).

The controls feel a bit random at some times, at some moments I am catapulted forward like a boulder in a Middle Age siege and at other times I barely move.

Overall very nice game, I had fun which is the most important thing ;) Keep going!

Love the polish, very clean old-school plateformer feelings. I felt like the level design was a bit cruel some times (which is a nice way to say that I suck at platformers) but I had fun trying to progress without killing anyone. I would have loved it if we were able to bounce on the enemies or something, that would have been fun.

Overall, very nice game, very polished, great job on this jam!

I loved the graphisms and the levels up between the floors! The low accuracy was a bit frustrating sometimes, but I loved the game overall. Nice job!

Hi I really really loved the game! There is so much content! I can definitely feel that a lot of work went into this entry, and I think that it was a good idea to take that extra day to wrap it up! I love the graphics, big old-school/retro gaming vibes, and the level design is very well-thought.

The different powers for the different types of cultists, and the fact that you have to buy them between tries, is such a good idea! My favorite one was the Bouncy Cultist, I suck at precise jumps in plateformer so it allowed me to zoom through more complex platforms zones. My only "complaint" is that it is sometimes difficult not to kick things that you are trying to pick up, and I stuck one or two enemies under platforms that way.

Otherwise the game feels very polished and complete, and I am very impressed in how much work you put out for this jam. Amazing job!

Thank you for playing my game and for the detailed comment!

Indeed, it's not possible to go to heaven. The narrative is a bit lacking here because I didn't have much time, but the angel/god is actually messing with you and just wants you to sacrifice your keys (and your relationships with your loved ones) for nothing. The good end is just managing to limit the damage and having the good keys to have positive interactions with the character in each level, so that Lucifer thinks that ur cool and you can chill in hell with them.

You're actually not the first one to try and jump in the void while trying to enter the answer as fast as you can! Fun fact just for you : there's an anwser if you actually manage to do that, it says "What? We don't want cheaters in Heaven!" or something like that.

Yes!!! That's me! It was my first Mini Jam and also first jam as a dev. I'm actually more of an artist and have only been picking up on game dev lately. That means a lot that you like the art, because I always try to give it a polished feel even if the game is very rough.

I want to keep working on the game and add more content, so I'll keep your feedback in mind! Another friend even told me that there was "a bug" where the letters would not be printed, so apparently it wasn't very clear...

All in all, thank you again for your comment and your time! Have a good day!

The game is so cute! I saw you design the little characters in the Discord, and the end result is super good. I love the little riddle, the music is nice, and each character feels unique.

The writing was very funny too, the god's lines made me chuckle. Good job!

Very beautiful game with a classic but well-presented premise! The art is awesome and the cases well thought to be source of reflexion.

But gosh the moral of the two protagonists is awful. Don't choose who has to die based on a desire to punish the surviving people??!

But cool game, great job, please do more cases. I love the fact that you get a follow-up afterwards.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to test the game!
Maybe that wasn't clear enough, but you dont have to hold down both keys to place a key down, it's a choice you have.

I hope next time I'll have time for some music!

The concept is funny and there is a box with a mustache, which is the pinacle of humor. But yeah my reflexes are TOO WEAK for this masterpiece. (And the background flickers sometimes as other people mentionned). The graphics are very nice and the game has a nice feeling to it. Good game in just two days with a team of one!

Really loved the game, but I didn't shoot or dash once, just headbutted a lot of things and globally had a great time. Music is cool, controls are reactive, catching healing items with the health bar is really cool. Never got low in life though so I didn't get to experience the darkness of the sea. Great job!

Very impressed by this game! I love the concept, the graphics are crisp and cute, and I love the way you included the limitation. Having to damage yourself to move on really brings the puzzle game to the next level of planning. I had a great time, thank you for your good work!

Nice and fun, my thalassophobia reminded me that the mood was very well set. Same as Penguin below, I found that sitting there and just shooting things that the most effective strategy, until the big angry fish decided to take an interest on me and ate me at 33 points.

I had a really good time and screamed once because a fish came out of nowhere and almost destroyed my ass. I loved it.

I loved the game, the concept is amazing and makes for very cool levels (level 2 is so cool !). Very good game, well executed and fun to play. I love that you promoted speedrun, it makes for more challenge!

Hi! Thank you for playing and for the detailled returns!

You can win by collecting 20 boxes (glider pieces) and holding down the E key for three seconds (there is no visual indicator that it is loading, but it works I promise). It builds a glider that would eventually carry you peacefully to the bottom. Most people do find the level of difficulty to be a bit high and I agree. I tried to balance that in the last hour or so but it is quite difficult! I hope you'll give it a try to see the end screen!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game and the music used! The artwork is beautiful and the story captivating. I found two ends and died once. I love the concept that mermaids do not heal and must steal life to regenerate their bodies. Very nice little visual novel you made here, good job!
