You did a great job on this game! First of all the artwork is beautiful: The characters, expressions, clues and backgrounds were really well drawn and rendered! I enjoyed the little additional gameplay elements (exploring, fact-checking against the case file…) you added to make it more than a visual novel. The story was well-written and kept me curious the whole time. I also like that the game was not too lenghty nor verbose. I did feel like the time component was slightly underused in the end, but it was satisfying to be able to be able to follow the story fully as well. I’m impressed, great work!

Thanks a lot for playing and replaying the game!!! 🤗 I like your idea of randomising the culprit, that’d be a lot fun! Thanks for the suggestion :D I’ll try to get around to play your game soon, I’m intrigued 👀

Such kind words, thank you so much, it means a lot 😍 and thanks for commenting on the public page too!

Hey! Super happy to hear you're enjoying it and want to push through despite the bug.

We have had this bug a few times and it seems to be browser-related but we couldn't fix it before the deadline :(. Very sorry about this!
SPOILER: To help you get unstuck

In order to use the exorcism kit you’ll first need to find out who the culprit is. There is a specific other object that needs to be given to the culprit in order to find them out. Let me know if that helps and happy to give more details if needed. Focus on this first and disregard the exorcism ingredients for now. Once you found the culprit, focus solely on the exorcism list.

Thanks again for the praise and for reporting the bug!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you had a good time playing and thanks for the feedback!!

Thanks a lot for the feedback and the compliments :D

Thanks a lot for playing, super nice to hear!

Very cute game and I like that the clues spawn in random places every time. It took me a while to find the suspect page though, it could me more visible! The short timeframe gives a nice feeling of rush! Good job!

I liked the gauge for the mystery mode, that was cleverly done! I could tell there were budding ideas for a cool game but looks like you ran out of time unfortunately. Keep partaking game jams!

I really enjoyed this game! You managed to make it funny and engaging at the same time. It had me laugh out loud a few times. Being able to rummage through the victim's phone was a very satisfying mechanic! The graphics are also very good and fit the tone of the game. Great job!

The artwork is awesome! Thanks for the sneak peek :D

Simple and satisfying! Love the sound in the background. Little comment on the description of your game, it says that you get larger but I think the opponent is getting larger instead ;)

Hey there! Could you please take a look at Beyond the trees? Thanks a lot!!!

Incredibly creative and innovative! I really enjoyed it, and am now in a good mood and craving kale, thanks a lot!

Thanks Merphin, it's really appreciated! Please have a look at Beyond the Trees people! You're in for a chill, tiny but complete experience ;)

Nice game mechanic, I like that you're cooperating zith your snake friend. I also liked the retro graphics :) Great job

Really ingenious concept! Like the others said, it's very challenging. The tutorial skeleton killed me an embarrassing amount of times! But amazing what you managed to pull off in terms of gameplay. Congrats

Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback, super happy you played! And your comments are very valid we would love to integrate some more mechanics like the ones you're suggesting!

And you are absolutely right about the thumbnail, we are going to change it so we are more visible hopefully

Thanks again for your sweet words it means a lot.

thanks a lot for playing! We're glad you liked it ☺️

thank you so much for the compliments! 🥰

This game is gorgeous. I love how trees grow and fade as you pass them by. The music is fitting too! The gameplay wasn't as smooth but this is already the basis for something amazing. Congrats!

Wow I'm amazed! The art style is brilliant, the idea of the snail as a timer made me giggle and the gameplay is nicely balanced! Great job!

The background art and character design is really good and the little whistling and saloon music fits perfectly. The concept is super fun but quite challenging and a tad confusing indeed. I survived one day so I'm happy haha! Good job team!

I love the embroidery art style a lot, it's very beautiful. And the idea of dieting is also nice! I just didn't fully grasp what was going on, I suppose I was missing some feedback to know if I was eating (maybe through sound design?) or losing weight or what the timer was about. But keep it up, there is potential there 😊

Ok this game is officially my favourite of this jam (and I'm not only saying this because my avatar is a marshmallow dude). The gameplay was so much fun, the story engaging and moving, the music was awesome and the visuals were super brilliant and hilarious. I'm amazed and I had a blast! Thank you team!

I'm so happy you liked it!

Yes our little guy has 2 lives but I didn't manage to set up the health bar... I'm really at the very beginning of learning Godot :)

That's so nice of you to say!

*blushing*

Thank you so much!!!!

This game was so adorable and nostalgic! Beautiful art, very dreamy, nice animations, lovely music, you've got it all! And the story was also very nice :) Amazing job and happy you could fix our technical issues :)

I really dig the concept and idea but it took me a while to understand how to gain confidence, I didn't notice the mirror at first! Once I understood it was pretty fun and satisfying to be assertive towards these crazy customers! Nice to see our character get visually increasingly confident too! The music is catchy as well! Thank you!

I love stealth game so this was fun! Nice little adventure, with a fun concept :) Towards the end I performed a massive jump that allowed me get past everyone and finish the game. Not sure that was intended but I enjoyed it nonetheless 😂

Very fitting concept and also very original! Really enjoyed sewing, I wish there was more to do! Cute art as well :)

thank you so much for the compliments! Good point, I have basic building blocks so shouldn't be too hard to stretch it a bit ;) Next time!

thank you 🤩 what a nice community

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep at it 🦾

Thank you so much 😊

Thanks for the honest feedback and words of encouragement, I really appreciate it :)

Wow I was really invested in Carlito's nightmare! Fun mechanics, great art (especially in the menu screen) and animation and music... basically everything is good! Very inspiring :)

I really enjoyed the art, especially the 2D background and the idea that my pillow is defending me against nightmares at night is amazing! I have nothing to add to the other comments, some controls were a bit off but overall great job folks!
