Cool game! I agree with the feedback from the other commenters, has potential

I really liked the lighting, it was just a bit hard to tell what card did what from the icon, and since it shuffled itself anyway there was no reason to not just spam the button, and basically have a gun that sometimes heals or slashes

Felt really polished, i really liked the system of figuring out synergies, even though you don't apply them in combat, figuring them out is most of the fun of playing ARPGs for me anyway. I just felt like it sometimes the 3rd option just made it more powerful but did not contribute to the "loop" for example in one of the first ones, you had to choose "double your armour" but i thought since i get armour on hit and that is converted to hp im immortal anyways, so i might as well pick thorns so i can also kill everything faster, but that turned out to be a wrong answer.

Really good concept, i felt it was held back by its execution. The biggest problem for me was the way you find new clues through the search engine. Having it be 2 words most of the time instead of one, made it feel really random what the game actually wanted from me. A lot of times i felt like i wanted to know about something, but it just gave me nothing. I would recommend looking at "roottrees are dead" for inspiration on how to make a search engine better, i think its a really tough task though. The biggest problem for me where the phone calls, they just all seemed really unhelpful and only responded to really specific things.

A bit more feedback on wrong answers would've been really nice, right now you can't even tell if you entered something, since there is no feedback.

As for the plot, a big thing that made it feel unsatisfying at the end, was the fact that the twist of there being a mobster who killed evelyn just came out of nowhere, i think it would feel better if every character is established early, with multiple being plausible for who would've done it, and in the midgame some evidence being revealed, that makes other candidates more/less likely, so you need to rethink who you thought it was.

The way it is now it felt really more like, there was no way of knowing this before finding the right documents, so it felt more like exploration rather than deduction. Also that Hargrove had a gambling problem is the same, the motivation just felt like it came out of nowhere. From the Podcast you knew someone was in debt, but i felt like there needed to be multiple candidates, the way it is now, hargrove was the only plausible choice.

I really liked the sound effects! Would have loved if there was a better way to attach your weapons,  it felt a bit weird doing it right on the body

I really liked the atmosphere and the way the puzzles where not too hand holdy, but i would have really liked some camera options, for me the smoothing made me dizzy

Thanks for playing, there is another way of replaying the loops which is not mentioned ingame, only on the itch page. You can press the numbers 1-5 to directly choose the loop you want to replay. But i agree it should be more intuitive.

I really liked the Chicken Theme, everything just made sense :D

Very unique premise! I really liked the narrative element, the only thing that was a bit annoying were the controls, i feel like a way to pause the loop or go back or quickly assign the notes while listening with a keybind instead of dragging and dropping would have made it a smoother experience

I really liked the Art style with the mix of 3D and 2D also the "pop" sound effect when collecting an orb was extremely satisfying. I would have loved if what you were drawing on the background somehow had an impact on the gameplay.

Nice simple executing of the genre. The bullets are fired in the direction from the weapon to the mouse which is a bit unintuitive i think it would've been better if it were from the player to the mouse. Also i would have loved if the upgrades were a bit cheaper and more playstyle changing like multiple bullets being fired etc.

I really liked the narrative element and the music was a banger! The plaforming felt a bit rough and i couldn't get past the level with the flames

You can actually go into the Options and rebind it to any key you want.
