yea I wish I had a bit more time to fix some animation for the dodge but sadly I just did not have enough time for that, this is only my 2. game jam so working effectivly is not my strong suit yet, also thx for playing!

yea that is the only bad thing with game jams, the feeling of we could have done more xD

honestly such a unique and cool idea! from what I saw in the comment I really agree with if there was a functionality of a controller would make things much easier than it is now, but this is a game jam so we don't have time for it all xD maybe you will add it in a future update.

To be honest there were alot we should have done that we purely did not have time for unfortunaly, but the drones are supposed to be invincible to not make it too easy, we should maybe have made that one a bit clearer. Honestly alot were forgotten or was fine because we knew the game  but did not think about the other ones that would be playing.

yea I got that in the start of the game where you made two paths and had to choose one in seconds, very fun and I might try it out on my phone if I feel like it (arent the biggest mobile game supporter)

Not joining but I thought it would be helpful for those joining who dont have an idea of what to make, the nI got some suggestions: (FYI: Got no idea if these are any good or what the optional theme is)

- A clicker game that changes the music by how many of each unit you have or by how much you are earning per second

- A platformer that adapt to how you play (if you go fast the music speeds up)

- A choose your own adventure game that adapts the music by how kind your choices are to those you meet

If you got any ideas yourself but are not joining or got something else you want to do please share them, I would love to read what people come up with.

A really fun game to play only thing I noticed is that he could see me through the walls which stopped alot of my plans on hiding in the offices

A very cool game that had AMAZING art. the game feels challenging yet fun which every game should.

A very fun game to play, it reminded me alot of the mobile games I used to play (Geometry dash and such) Only thing that annoyed me was that I died since I could not jump from some stairs that went down. Also the game had many fun jokes in it like the "oops" when I fell down from there xD

So true, but we accidentally fell into the "Quick Run" Diversifier for the game jam which is a sign for me that we did something good xD

thx we tried hard making this a hard game but not impossibly hard. So I'll take "felt like I'm having a stroke" as a good sign xD

A fun game to play, loved the style and the humour used in the cutscenes.

Only thing I got a bit annoyed by was the enemy attacks, specially on the 3. boss, where it randomly attacks with on of the attacks which made it hard to know if it was gonna attack vertically or horizontally, and I needed to stare at the boss to know when it was gonna attack which made my own placement so much worse.

again, a really fun game jam game, with a cool design on the bosses and attacks, just a bit unfortunate with when they attack

thx for playing! I personally think that if we could break the drones woul make it too easy because we have unlimited bullets, that way the game has some difficulty to it. 

The other option we discussed was you needed to reload and have breakable drones, but it would need more work than we had time for.

thx for playing! also for people who find it difficult (like me) there is an option for dodging the lasers using space to make it better for everyone.

thx for playing! but I do believe the game would have been too easy if the drones were not blocking your shots, because then you could possibly just stand in a corner and shoot

Thx for playing the game! Remember you can press space to dodge, which I think will make it easier. Unfortunaly we did not have time for a dodge animation so you just got to believe me.

Thx for playing the game! we did not have time to make a tutorial to say that you can dodge, but we had the buttons, so why not have clown car sounds. xD

Also if Im fully honest I do believe it would have been too easy if the drones and lasers were not invincible.

If you did not know you can dodge when pressing space, which allows you too well dodge the lasers, unfortunaly I did not have time to animate the dodge so it might seem like you are not doing anything

Thx for the comment and I agree we should have explained it a bit more on what you are supposed to shoot, but we did not want it to become too hard hence the stationary boss.
