I noticed that you mentioned something about implementing a “mod system” for the game — I’m curious: would it be akin to something like user-created plug-ins from a template? Or, something that directly overwrites / edits existing scripts?

Please don't beat yourself up over anything of the sort. You don't owe anyone anything. If it's something you enjoy doing, go for it! If you'd rather move on to other projects, go for it! You are your own person :D

I do not mean any offence. I only ask because, when I was a teenager, I almost died of an eating disorder. My heart rate was down to 20BPM, my organs auto-canibalized, and I couldn't stop exercising. If this game rewards restrictive eating / treats fatness as undesirable, then I cannot play it in sound conscience. If it is more nuanced, I'd appreaciate the elaboration. If my question seems unreasonable, then: my apologies for taking up your time. 

I am curious -- what does the description mean by "be careful not too eat too much"? Will the character simply become sick, or is this commentary on fatphobia narratives in young adulthood? Or, is the game actively promoting teen diet culture?

Thank you for the definitive update on the cancellation --- I hope that you take care and, if in the future, you should persue any other creative projects of the sort, that they go well!

I think there might be problems with the payment processors and de-indexing on Itch.io (on account of the payment processor censorship).

Itch.io won't let me pay for the game using PayPal (as of August 1st, 2025) --- it just keeps cancelling the transaction.

A petition against payment processors for their current censorship tirade. 

The coins don't do anything for the mime. But, once you win an eating contest, you can give the mime a glizzard voucher instead of a coin. After that, each time you see her, she will have gained weight.

I love the simplicity and nostalgia of it! However, the earning of money from remote work is very, very little compared to how quickly the stomach fullness bar depletes. How is one supposed to earn enough without starving?

I have the same problem 😅 I tried reloading the save, but it didn't help.

Edit: I figured out that you need to succeed on the Chr. and Int. checks. That way, the scene with the mountain lion doesn't occur and you can continue progressing normally.
