Thanks — that part was intentional, not a technical bug.
I wanted the checkbox step to feel frustrating in a deliberate way, like the system is actively interfering with you.
Still, it helps a lot to know it may need clearer presentation so players can tell it’s part of the design.

Hi everyone 👋 I'm a solo indie developer and I recently released a small experimental game called "Remove Virus".

In this game, your computer has been infected with a virus. To remove it, you must download and install an antivirus program.

But instead of a normal installation process, each installation step turns into a mini-game.

Every time you try to install the antivirus, you will encounter different challenges. The game currently includes 20+ different mini-games, and they appear randomly during the installation process.

Your objective is simple: Complete the installation steps, survive the mini-game challenges, and finally launch the antivirus to remove the virus from your computer.

You can play it here: https://jkong-games.itch.io/remove-virus

I'd love to hear feedback from players and other developers!
