I didn't finish because I only have an hour to review other submissions, but it's absolutely fantastic. Using the split flaps looks incredibly polished. The game mechanics were straightforward yet challenging on the later levels. This is one of the strongest games in the Jam (that I have seen)

Fun Game! Lost to the Maze, but it's an interesting concept and a great game Jam submission! The only thing is the loading time at the beginning (I'm impatient lol)

Fun game! It would be cool to override the cursor with a custom inspector glass icon or something! But I enjoyed playing. Took me 3 tries to get all 5!

(1 edit)

Cool concept! I didn't understand how to clean the graffiti, but all the other minigames were intuitive and fun! I would have like a timer when I died to see how long I lasted.

Incredibly polished game! Levels were challenging. It took me a few minutes to understand how the moment destroyed the environment & enemies, but I really enjoyed it!

This game was absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. The fact that a clump of tumbleweed could hide the characters was too amusing to me. It was really fun to play!!!

Thanks for playing!!! The biggest thing I have learned from this is to have a few playtesters. I'm sure they would have pointed out the camera FOV issues, and I could have gone a different direction!

thank you for playing!! I could have made it more obvious.  there were notes which showed how to complete the first room (an unofficial tutorial)

As for the cameras this is something which is an issue and would be reworked in hindsight . There were keybinds from the main camera perspective to switch into specific screens however I definitely could have made it clearer! They were in the left most note pad!

Thanks for playing!!

Thanks for playing!! If I had more time I definitely would have added many more distractions per room and perhaps other things(not sure what yet lol).

I agree the timer can be annoying however it only starts when the operator enters the first room so you can prepare commands up front. But if I were to make this into a fully developed game I could remove that pressure entirely.

Fun game! I enjoyed the variety of tasks. Especially click x times. Did get repetitive by the end, as it's the combination of all the previous tasks.

Fun game! Movement felt good. Can't believe you even had a boss battle/big finale. Only complaint is I accidentally glitched out the map at the end, but other than that, really fun!!

Maybe because I'm not the most organised person, I struggled after 4 minutes, but it's an absolutely incredible game. The variety of objects you could use; some spawners had anti-gravity!!! I really enjoyed playing. The game felt very polished. Very impressive.

I enjoyed playing!! Always happy playing a chess game! The only thing I found frustrating is when I made a mistake I wanted to see if there was a restart level option (while keeping the time). I pressed the menu, as it was my only button, then lost all my progress.  Also, it would have been nice to have a visual indicator of the moving piece. I know you can figure it out by switching pieces; however, a little visual icon wouldn't help! Very impressive for 5 days of work!

Thanks! I hope in a good way lol!!

Thanks for playing!! Great idea I’ll have a look into it after the jam is completed. I have a few ideas for improvements!

Hey thanks for playing!! Very glad u enjoyed it! Once the operator enters the first room you have 3 minutes to get to the package. There’s a 3 minute countdown top right! Failure to finish in time results in game lost ran out of time! Perhaps you were soo good u never needed to worry about it haha

Very clever levels. The 2nd and last took me a while lol. The introduction of the trampolene/launch thing and extra jump abilities was very well done. I really enjoyed playing this!!

Fun game!  I really enjoyed spamming through all the dialogues. Thought it was funny I could buy C4 from the vault door.  Because of my speed, though, I had to wait 2 and a half minutes for the ending. Good ending though!! Feels like it's come from experience.

This is one of the best games in the Jam that I have seen. Very well polished. I really like the clever link to the countdown with the sun. Seeing the massive countdown was really funny to me. I got stuck finding the posters for a few minutes, but other than that, it was really enjoyable!!!

Only got to round 5, but I really enjoyed it! Very simple premise, but the cards add so much variety. When I had lots of cards one after the other, it got hard quickly. Overall great game!

Fun game!! After playing for a while, I ran out of ammo, which was annoying and couldn't find any more in the whole map (only health boosts). I know there was an axe, but it isn't as fun lol. My biggest complaint is that enemies despawned in front of me sometimes, which was frustrating.

Thank you!!!!

Thank you for playing!!! I’m really glad you enjoyed it!!

Thank you for playing!! I agree the camerawork definitely needs an overhaul. I do have shortcuts to switch between cameras but it isn’t an elegant solution. I think after the game jam I’ll look into better options.

Thanks for trying the game! It is complicated, especially for people who have never learned Linux/terminal stuff. I had the instructions on how to complete the first room but I do agree it definitely could have been explained further!

thank youuu! Yes I agree it may not be the most straight forward game haha! It is almost teaching the basics of Linux terminals. If I had more time maybe a proper tutorial would be nice, slowly explaining each command? I hope u were able to get to the end though!!

Thank you for playing!! Yes that is something I struggled with. I did create keybinds when you are in the default camera position. So if you press numbers 1-6 or c, it sends you to the target screen. However I should have implemented some kind of control + key while focused to quickly switch!

Great game. To make 18 levels is really impressive. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past this level. I kept running out of time slightly. Solid platformer!! The only negative is that the dash jump felt slightly out of control

Ridiculously well-polished game. Especially for a gam jam. Loved all the new opponent types. Dash felt juicy. Overall, a fantastic game. Really fun and well-made.

Fun game!! The map/compass is VERY well made. Got a bit jump-scared by the black enemy. Didn't realise I had a shotgun till the 3rd time I got attacked lol. Overall great job!!

Fun game! I liked the games however, I always struggled with the text. Couldn't tell if some things were numbers or letters. Other than that, great game!

Fun controls (I felt out of control, but that makes it even better). Got a D, so didn't do great lol, but I had fun playing!

Great art style. I liked all the minigames. You probably don't want me to say this. Reminded me of among us! Very fun!! Good job!

Very VERY good game. The animation for closing the windows is excellent. Nice 'cookie clicker' style game. I appreciate all the mini-games to keep the player engaged. I did manage to get to the credits and the roll :(. I maxed out all the upgrades and it still took a while to finish. Overall though very well made and good fun. BtwI liked the timestamp on the bottom right!

Great art style. Really unique controls. I sucked at the game, but it was really fun to play!! I also appreciate that the hitboxes were lenient lol. Felt like I should have died a few extra times but just about escaped.

Cool idea! I enjoyed playing!!! Worth expanding further. EG see the NPC get angry?  There didn't seem to be many special cards. Maybe because I minimised and maximised, I couldn't see cards anymore. I had to skip each time. Still won! Also, the music didn't repeat :(

Fun game. I enjoyed the art style. I felt like the 'R' ability appeared constantly. And I had to spam space for a long time. Sound effects and hits felt juicy. Good job!

Really fun! At the beginning, I was very confused as I didn't see any items and kept dying. (Because I was on ultrawide lol and the top/bottom was cut off). I only ever needed the cigarettes. It would have been nice to have some punishment for using the items. Eg limited inventory?

I really enjoyed the art style. I like how it responded to the items consumed. Typing felt responsive, and the sound effects when punished/successed were both great.

Perhaps it would be nice to see the next word beforehand. I can type much faster that way.

Overall, though really good job!!

Artwork is very unique! I like the concept. I started to get repeated situations after a while. Great idea and definitely worth pursuing into something more fully fledged. EG enforcing grammar.
