Love it!!!! The art is AMAZING, the theming is so so well done and the little music box thing is so so so cute gosh I am So impressed

only small issue is: I’m rly bad at this ;w; And I’d have Really appreciated it if the game was a bit simpler to approach, for example by adding an easy “play from start” button to the music play (I do love the crank but I mean for the customers mp4), and for it to just be a bit bigger so you can click on “I want to listen to spefically beat 3”, since as it thats a smidge akward, also a way to play at like 0.5x speed would also be so so appreciated since gosh I REALLY like the game conceptually and thematically The little bow on your cursor is enough to make it worth playing and this game has so so many more little lovely things to offer <3

I love legally distinct omnom and its a rly cute lil game! Very very well done!!!

Very fun gam, but my wrist is starting to hurt ;w;

I love the sounds a lot and it is very very polished for what it is!

VERY cool game gosh love the rubicks cube dynamic, didnt read the lore but impressive its there- I wouldve just been happy with the lil rubicks sword fighty prototype but it also has upgrades and a fully implemented rly cool loop!

It does feel a bit slow to use your main attack at times is my main complaint and its Hard to keep your bearings on how the cube is oriented, but very very impressive and cool game overall!

Very fun tight little game! Like how it randomizes everything and it can combine together for cool stuff! The music is rly nice and the art is very charming Me likey!!! Great work!!!

I LOVED THIS A LOT I dont rly do rythem games but gosh this is INCREDIBLE for a gamejam1!! Really cute story that captures all the vibes of the jam, the core mechanic is very neat and the theme is so so incredbile like gosh YOURE A CAT, AND SO CUTE

Very much not a rythem game player, but this is just an objectively amazing game gosh how much got done in a week and the polish here is INCREDBILE

Very cool core mechanic once I had the AHA of how it worked But I couldnt clearly keep in mind what exactly the buttons im pressing were doing or how those related with the gravity, I ended up kinda just mashing my way through puzzles And also think I sadly got stuck on the room with 3 boxes as 2 boxes wont fall down from the ceiling no matter what gravity I put them in

Still a cool game and rly appreciate the visuals!

It was a fun lil thing I did like the core controls a lot! A shame it was so short and there wasnt anything to shoot, also some audio wouldve been appreciated!

Neat lil thing! Glad I had a DDR girl on call w/ me to explain the controls cuz otherwise I would not have hit a single note

Gosh, I’m glad my words were appreciated :D And… I’d like to add that your projects have meant a lot to me Whenever I see some a cool piece of art on my feed or a short video or vocaloid mv and I recognize your style it puts a smile on my face

Just how… Your art has so much care and personality in it, that it’s the result of so much skilled labor that’s carved out a niche in the giant haze that is the internet That it’s a sign that it’s possible to do the thing you love And then just, keep doing it Working on so many cool projects and touching so many lives

I’ve… Always wanted to work towards making things that impact a lot of people, to have the space to create And as a small queer indie who has such a massive gap between what I can do and what is needed for truly great projects Its just, means a lot to me to be able to look up to incredibly talented figures like yourself!

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day! (Sorries for making this sentimental gosh)

You know I instantly recognized the art style and specific Instant Charm this game has from seeing just a single screenshot and I was like “no way it can’t be, it must just be someone inspired by her or something”

Proceeds to google the artists name Sees radiant revival pop up

Welp no wonder it looks so incredibly charming

And the game it self also certaintly doesnt dissapoint! The voice acting is charming, the questions are silly yet doable even for someone like me with 0 trivia knowledge (the question of “who painted the mona lisa” made me laugh SO HARD), the music is so cozy and lovely, the stacking minigame took some convincing but it was rly fun after giving it a proper shot!

All in all a very good game and I am amazed at just how much STUFF is in here, so many wonderfully made assets, so many engaging questions, sound effects for every little thing, A CHARACTER CREATOR??? and just such a consistent level of polish throughout, it’s awe inspiring! I don’t think Ill ever get over the Vibe this art style and color pallete create either, it is just so so fun and cozy to be in

Some seriously incredible work from all involved! Fun gam

VERY fun game!!! The core of thinking about how your bullets line up and feed into eachother is really really cool, there’s some nice variety in what different bullets do, and really just does the core things that make deckbuilders cool

Only reason I’m not spending infinite time on this is that the game feels a little hard to read UX wise? Like there’s a lot of teeny tiny improvements to the ux possible here to make the puzzle just easier to interact with (like being able to see the damage a shot would do without needing to hover or maybe on hover you can see which slot that bullet would take up and which slot it would push the next bullet too)

But the Core here is so so solid and fun It already gets you thinking about “oh they could add a bullet that does this or maybe a relic type thing that does that”

And also the music is Incredible, the sound effects feel meaty, and the art is lovely, the overall game is absolutely Brimming in style also, the shader used everywhere does So much to make the game feel cool and complete Also the little tooltips are very fun and at times adorable

All in all this is 100% my type of game, and absolutely I loved trying it!

I rly liked the art for the upgrades and they’re also all quite interesting from what ive seen! Butttt sadly I didnt rly love the Feel of the game, it was… fine But way to slow and the special effects on trying to do whip attacks felt like they made the game feel finickier to control and hurt the pacing I also think the game had a bit too much time between upgrades and it felt like a chore to get through a wave of enemies, and I also didn’t know how Much any upgrade would do, so it didnt rly feel like I was getting that much stronger It felt like I was playing the exact same stratergy the same way against the same enemies both at the start and end of the run

All that said though, there is fun to be had with the spinning and the Thud every couple seconds dealing big aoe damage And if it was more polished the whip attack could feel really cool!

But as is I sadly think it just didn’t have enough time, which is a shame Still a nice showcase of some fun ideas like a more controlled vampire surivors main attack and having every kill heal you led to some pretty fun scenarios dancing around the enemies to pick up their juice bits

Oh and I also had a bug a couple times I think where for the first round the game played Very Very Very slowly and I just didnt know what or why, which was frustrating

All in all still a full functional vampire survivors like with some cool ideas and really nice art!

Sadly cant play it rn even with the duplicate tabs thing mentioned in the description Im not getting a match, give me a ping know if its fixed and ill give it a proper shot and update the ratings!

This is an amazing start imo! Much more fun then the first thing I made x3

You can be really proud of yourself!!!!!

I love the little :c when you kill the basic black faries The art is incredibly charming, the spin to win is simple yet an interesting way to shake things up, the voice acting is rly cool the mood is just right, and the game just feels very cool and fun to go through!

I did really dislike needing to deal with the enemies who throw (what I presume are) turds at you with the shotgun, but the game is forgiving enough that that didn’t cause any major issues and you can just tank anything you didn’t dodge, making the game feel tense without being unfair or needing multiple run throughs

All in all a fairy gun game! Great job to all involved!

I REALLY like this Gosh the only reason I stopped is it started making me feel physically ill to play but thats intentional and im here for it

5/5 on creativity no question

Very silly very fun game thatd honestly might work even better in vr or something, gosh im almost thankful that it didn’t let me full screen it and also a bit sad since it is definitely not an experience I had anywhere else, and I won’t easily forget it

The name alone does so much to set the mood, you’re a wizard and you’re very very dizzy, and the camera and visuals do a great job enhancing the gameplay since it does just, Feel Bad to look across these repeating landscapes and try to kill these miniscule enemies, but ya gotta! Ya gotta keep rotating to use your spells also! Each of those also feels unique and interesting and nice to use

Its a simple entry but Gosh it was a fun play!

The only issue is that it doesnt have much depth as is and having more variations or decision making on what spells to use, would’ve been appreciated (maybe even a shop menu or something to give my eyes a moment to rest since as is the game is constant constant constant paranoia and rotating, which is very fun! But hard to keep going for long sessions)

Great work!!

I may be dum with how much ive struggled here First I assumed that cuz its billjards youd need to drag Away from where you’re shooting rather then drag to where you want it to go… And after figuring that out on the second level I thought the goal was to shoot into the gap between the rocks for the planet as I didnt see the blackhole behind it…

I ended up not getting super far before I stopped having fun, which is a shame since the game is stunning, the music and sound effects are really nice, and the dialogue is so charming! Plus the game is quite forgiving in giving you a full preview of the trajectory of your shot and letting you reset so easily But sadly as a player it feels a bit too finicky to trail and error my way through these very difficult screens Suppose it’s just a skill issue and that this isn’t fully my type of thing, and that bothers me since the game is really good and it’d be awesome to play through all of it!

Absolutely wonderful entry and I still can’t get over how much I like the pixel art

Same crash for me, darn:

I rly like the sound and the raccoon sprite is so charming I love his lil walk, and the controls for the beyblade feel rly cool even if it’s very out control!

But I couldnt rly get past the first boss and I tend to not rly like the feeling of bashing my head against a wall not rly knowing whats going on

Did not know what to expect out of a game made by 100 people but gosh it sure was Something:tm: Awesome job by all involved!!!

Fun lil thing!

I rly like the music and the core mechanic of this weird flappy bird trying to find things in the level is neat!

But it could feel a bit better to control, perhaps with things like holding space to keep ascending or tweaking the control a-d gives you And it also feels very punishing to die to the sides of the screen, level 4 had a place where you rly had to thread the needle and needing to go on a wild goose hunt for level 3 felt unexpected

Eitherway its a charming little thing and I had fun, good job!

wow this is probably one of the coolest things ive ever played Wow

This game is Fascinating, I love this art style and perspective so much, it’s so simple but it works so so well

Incredible find!

its… AI slop It’s genuinely impressive so much can be done with just ai, but also it’s a good case study for why AI overuse is just not a good idea in game dev

making vampire survivors but again isn’t interesting, so much is just copy past 1 to 1 of vs the alterations that have been made on the vs basis show a clear lack of understanding as to what makes vs work, or more likely, a lack of thought, as llm’s have never played a video game before and they can’t think, they can’t understand why something works and make meaningful decisions based on that, they simply calculate the most likely next word in a sequence of words, which they are Incredibly Good at, but that doesn’t tie into “making good games”

Tis scary how much has been done, so obviously, by ai here, and just how glaring some of the issues from this are (e.g. the main menu is absolutely illegable) But still was neat to play a version of vs where the whip isn’t as annoying to use (Even though this is far from the first game to make a change like this)

Cool game! Was rly fun to hear the audio come in after the drummer and keyboardist joined, thats such a cool moment

Neat game, I think as a minimalist bullet hell it’s rly good but as a nodelike it leaves more to be desired, it feels so frustrating how you don’t pick everything up on death, and needing to choose between “either focus on getting gold or kill enemies for gears” feels unintuitive and unsatisfying compared to other nodelikes I’ve played before (like in astro prospector, sure you can choose per run what you focus on, but you’ll still make *progress *on both resources, and I feel that’s missing here)

And further this game doesn’t have much… Identity? Which in itself could be an identity, but idk It just feels like “more astro prospector except with a core game that isnt as fun” since without the nodelike elements I wouldn’t really enjoy the core arena shooting that much? The enemies spawn in too quickly, without end, and also without any satisfying curve in difficulty, level 3 starts with a lot of enemies and the amount of bullets on screen never really… Changes much from there? Since they spawn only slightly slower then you can deal with them +the boss is there too

And the “shooting the walls for gold thing” is also a bit unsatisfying, since in a bullet hell it’s really hard to move close to something, and here you need to do that in order to pick it up! Even though you already have the reward, it’s right there on the ground, you properly shot it out! But then no, you don’t get it And that just felt unsatisfying, and like if this was just a single room arena shooter with a high score chasing loop, it wouldn’t be that fun to go for these walls, and I think that’s a shame

All in all a very good demo, the bullet hell elements are very polished which I love (the little glow before enemies shoot, the bullets being readable, the spawning and your own shots feeling nice), but the nodelike loop and the core gameplay I think could use some more work before I’d consider playing a full version (as is there were a handful of moments where I would’ve stopped playing, if I wasn’t so intrigued by the polish of the pure bullet hell side of things, it’s simple, but I do really appreciate it)

neat lil thing! I enjoyed it! Loved the music and vibes, and also suprisingly tough (though a lot easier after realizing trade isnt “gain X of both” but “lose X logs gain X food”) was fun!

Really cool game! Love the concept, felt a bit “meh” until realizing “OH I THIS IS DOING A PIZZA TOWER” and then it felt rly cool!!!

(Maybe have some text on screen to screaming at you to get out cuz the first time getting to that room I just sat there waiting for something to happen and then just, Died)

I do think it needs a Lot of work still obviously, mainly the core movement didnt’ feel nice to me? It felt to slippery, I didn’t feel in control a lot of the time and it didn’t feel like it was my fault that I messed up but more the game being a bit janky Which is fine its rly early on and theres a lot of fun content here! Just the main thing stopping me from enjoying it more is not feeling as in control of the character as I’d like (especially the air control can be a lot more lenient I think)

For the rest the abilities I messed with were neat and fun! Enough to get me to do another run, but having more then 1 or 2 would already feel like too much Id imagine, and also some layouts, like having to us M to warp, felt clunky In most games it takes a bit before you’re familiar with the movement abilities you have, but in this you just kinda die and get smt new

Oh and I also think it can be more lenient in more areas likeee, if the ground spikes(?) (those beige maggots on the floor) pop out, it feels weird that that damages you, maybe make it still force you up but not damage you Yet,since in a lot of first rooms it felt like “oh I didnt notice this very subtle detail and now am getting hit, maybe multiple times, because of it” And had the same issue before figuring out that the dissapearing platforms all had a Unique Reappearance condition that you need to remember based on the room, felt odd

But all in all, neat lil thing! I could see a hidden gems type video be made about a more polished version, and it has a strong enough and well executed enough core selling point that I clicked on both the trailer and gave it a shot! (Usually platformers don’t do very well, very oversaturated genre, but tbh this is a really good start!) Good job girl!!! :D

Girl ;w; (I’m um, glad you liked it gosh… I made this silly thing a while ago, I, don’t think it’s good tbh but gosh just waking up to a girl both Getting It and it having such an impact on her, is, so so so lovely, really glad you enjoyed this silly lil thing <3)

Really cute! Loved stumbling across this and a shame it wasnt more expansive, seems so odd how there's no bigger games allowing for midi inputs!

THIS IS SO AMAZING WHAT LIKE GOSH WHAT DO I EVEN FOCUS ON HERE

first of all music is so so wonderful- THE ART IS SO PRETTY, Such a good grasp of color, the readability with the backdrops and UI can suffer at times? But hoenstly make a bullethell game with such a small pixel size playable, LET STAND FUN AND FAIR FEELING, Is such an amazing feat!!! I've tried to get into Touhou in the past, and you do feel the inspirations, but still I think this can stand on its own for the amazing art and music alone! So so pretty, every screenshotjust bursting with colour and impossible patterns, and the affordance of what projectiles do what (The pickups, player projectiles, and enemy hurty bullets) is also so so well done, I think the rule is that enemy projectiles have a white dot in the centre? But honestly dont know for sure, its just so amazing though how readable the game is when you get in the zone- and how easily this game gets you in the zone?

Gosh I also dissagree so  so much with the idea that the game being derivative would make it worse somehow? Honestly gonna need to see if you have social media presence / a kickstarter for this- since gosh its just so so so wonderful! Hmmm, though actually for selling it, it might need to do a little more to say "I made this cuz I love love love tohou and want more games like it!" to make sure folks dont see it as derivative it instead as a homage? Unsure how to best do so though...

Never looked into the bullet hell market, but gosh this is such such such a nice bullet hell- its a relatively easy market to develop for? So it might be oversaturated but gosh the art here is just so so wonderful, the music is so amazing and I'd love to see this as a game I could buy!!!

Wonderful wonderful little game -im very much procrastinating on big work things by leaving this comment- but just- HOW COULD I NOT- gosh I wish I wasnt busy and could just get lost in this little game

Wonderful work!!! Love girls, love games, and gosh this is so so nice

My mind immedately goes to "Okay well would this be a financial success and what can be done to get it that far" right now just because whoever made this deserves rewards and fans!!

Just find it such a shame I haven't heard about this silly little project before! But that's just me, thanks so much for the wonderful game (I'll be sure to play it plenty more when time frees yup) and I hope to see it finished (hopefully to a big audience like it deserves)!!!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed!

Glad you liked it! And very much agreed on the VFX front, it's the biggest weak point of the game! Thanks for the feedback!

Great game! The art adds so much charm, and I also love the little touches like the voice acting!

Was really fun!! I'm so surprised you manged to do so much in only 8 weeks!!!

Wonderful!!! I enjoyed it a whole lot!!!

(1 edit)

Fun game! But I gave up!

And I feel that this game is so *close* to being a good rage game, it just lacks on BIG thing: Information
While it does feel like it was probably my fault whenever I died, 95% my inputs caused the death (and the remaining 5% is fine since it's a gamejam game), but then 75% of that 95% is deaths due to lack of information on my part, I DONT KNOW WHERE THE CRABS ARE
AND I GET LAUNCHED INTO THEM

Now while that is frustrating, I didn't do anything wrong to deserve that death, and I can't do anything differently to prevent the death, it feels like rng
Honestly in the first run it *felt* like you did do a lot of work to make sure the cycles line up properly with the players path to bandage this issue, but it's still there
Honestly something as simple as a LOOK UP feature would make this game amazing, at least it would've kept me playing until I felt I couldn't beat it cuz of skill (not due to lack of *patience*, which is what I feel is the main reason now)

But all in all, good work! The level flows well, and the jump pads are fun in their excessive added force, just this lack of information given to the player makes it hard to play long enough to beat

I'm curious to see what you're next projects will look like :D (and I do tell me if this game jam has been fun and/or given you some stuff to good reflection points for your intake!)

I really like the idea, but the tutorial can use a lot more work
I spent 15 minutes just trying to figure out what buttons I need to press where
Tell me that the Trash container is a trash container before I spent 3 runs trying to make medince through that

I also assumed that the medicine I need to make would be on the printed paper, so I spend a couple of runs confused by that
And it didn't help that once I did get a run going where I knew what to do, I only 40 seconds to do it
So I quit

Work on the onboarding, you won't be standing next to the player when they're playing the game

It's a shame because what's there looks like it's very interesting, I love the idea of mixing shapes, too bad I couldn't play that part of the game

Sound design went so hard here, and the cinematic flair to top it all off

sadly the controls don't feel that good, when dashing I honestly couldn't tell you where the character will end up, so then to ask me to aim that system into enemies is a lot, so I ended up just pressing it then figuring out where my character was and then trying to aim it at the general direction of enemies with no certainty it would anybody

Still liked it!
