thanks!! yea i really like that one. i ran a synth arpeggio through a glitch plugin (GlitchMachine's Fracture) for a while, turned knobs while the audio recorded. then i cut a bit that i liked out of the sample, looped it, added drums. hiphop is usually better if you keep it simple so its just the sample, a tambourine, the snare, the kick, drum fill + the synth that comes in the second half. the bass sounds the way it does mostly because of the "speaker" emulation on Image-Line's Distructor, but it's got some other distortion on there as well. you can get the same effect by finding an amp simulator and playing with the wet/dry
there you go, ive bounced out a version of track 3 without vocals as well in case someone asks for that down the line

yo im guessing this has few ratings because it's kinda freaky. you did a great job of making me feel unsettled the instant i started the game. personally have not played very far because i am a big ol baby and am going to wait to play more until my roommates are around or maybe send it to my buddy who likes horror and watch him play over discord lol. from what i can tell you did a good job, the virtual boy aesthetic is really nice! ive always loved the black and red color scheme
obviously hard to vote on since only the test room works - but what does work is really fun!! the controls feel great; im guessing you spent a lot of effort on getting the movement down because it's super fluid, i move exactly how i would expect. spent a bit just zoomin around the level and seeing how small i could make my jumps. the speed is fun, fastfall is fun, recoil is fun. i think the proof of concept is there and is really interesting, hope you continue work on this as you are able. great work!
this aesthetic is amazing, yall are beyond cracked. i love how each character has their own little theme, i especially love Daffyd's (?). their names are fun too. i was gonna say it's tough to keep track of which direction everyone is even with the map, but im a doofus and wasn't looking at the sky, which i think is a really creative way to solve that problem. anyway, great work!
