Incredible work as always! Sad to hear you are nearing the end of the updates for this legendary tileset.

I made a pretty playable proof of concept for a snake like action RPG. There is a replayable game loop with increasing difficulty and starting party unlocks. Would love to get some feedback on it to see if I should keep working on it.

I made a new game! It is in the proof of concept stage but I implemented enough of a game loop that I think it can be enjoyed. Check it out!

Whoa. I took a longer break than expected between posts. I'm still here and working on the game though. I just released 0.96 which I feel continues to improve the game. Check it out!

I guess some of the basic fantasy characters and mobs would be a good start? wizard, archer cleric types. The beautiful forest landscape could use some wildlife type moves. Wolves, bears and stuff. And then some kind of orc, goblin, skeleton types. Anything would be great though. Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff!
Hi. Thanks!
Yes, glow does seem to be working on 4.4 with a web build for me. When I release the next version (hopefully in about a week) you should be able to notice it with any of the main colored gems breaking and the particles glowing.
Along with enabling "HDR 2D" in the project settings, right now I am using the following WorldEnvironment settings:
I set the RAW color values of what I want to glow to around 1.3.
The glow actually seems a little more noticeable on the web builds vs the Windows build (vulkan renderer).
Let me know if you need more info or help.
I made getting items for the Silo stockpile a LOT less grindy. I think it is more fun. ;) Also made the Silo interface more efficient for the player.

These are really great! I have just found one issue. Maybe I am not using the spritesheets correctly but it seems that the Soldier frames are slightly different than the archer and wizard. For example For the Soldier it looks like the first 5 frames are for idle and walking but for the Archer and Wizard it is the first 4 frames.
Added a stockpile mechanic to the game. Right now there is a reward ladder for contributing to it but I might work it into quests.
The first instance of the mechanic is at the silo on the farm.

The eggs are ready for collecting!
Also a bit of a wordy write up about fixing some map avatar movement issues. Check it out if you have jitter issues with 2D movement in Godot 4.x

Oof. I think I made the new farm way too big. :(
Check out the devlog for my thoughts. I also talk about my experience with upgrading to Godot 4.4!

I am really trying to commit to providing at least weekly updates. I worked on the game for over a year and half steadily without providing an update so this will be a big change! ;)
Since releasing the first beta last week I fixed some bugs and added some TNT!

It's been a long road but I am getting close to releasing my first game. I have added, fixed and improve a lot of stuff over the last year and a half. It will need some more testing and polish first so I am hoping you will all give it a try!
DevLog here.
Play or download it here!
Fixed a lot of bugs! Now I can finally get to adding some more content!
Also NPCs move around instead of standing around like statues. ;) Check it out!

Hope to use more Admurin assets when I graduate to 32x32 sprites. ;)
Hi! It took awhile but I finally released another update to my game, Puzzle Crossing.
