Hey everyone! Long-time lurker here, first time actually posting about something I built.

I run into the same problem most of you probably do when playtesting: feedback ends up scattered across Discord messages, comments, and DMs, with no good way to tell if five people are reporting the same bug or five different ones. So I built IndieLaunch to fix that specifically.

You create a playtest round, share one invite link with your community (Discord, itch.io, wherever), and testers submit feedback sorted into bugs, suggestions, and praise. No account needed on their end. If your community's in Discord, there's also a /feedback slash command bot so people never have to leave the server. Everything lands in one dashboard, with duplicate reports automatically flagged.

The part I'm most excited about: connect your Steam page, and it automatically tracks which of your playtesters go on to leave a public review after launch. Since reviews are what actually make a game visible in Steam's algorithm, it's a way to see whether your playtesting is converting into the thing that actually matters for discoverability, something I always wondered about but had no way to track before.

It's completely free, unlimited rounds, Discord bot included, no per-tester fees. There's an optional Pro tier for studios that want the individual-level reviewer breakdown, but the core tool isn't limited in any way.

Happy to answer questions if anyone's curious, or if you want to try it on your own project.

Good luck with whatever you're building!

Sorry about that!

Awesome! The Discord bot is completely free and can be used within your Discord server directly with the /feedback command. It feeds through to your IndieLaunch dashboard/playtesting report.

Yes its a public link! Anyone who views the link can now submit a playtest report. Let me know if you have any questions!

Since you're actively gathering feedback: if you end up running more structured playtests as you continue development, I built a free tool called IndieLaunch that might help. Testers submit feedback (there's even a Discord /feedback command if that's where your community hangs out) sorted into bugs, suggestions, and praise instead of it getting scattered across comments. There's also an optional feature that tracks which of your testers later leave a Steam review, if that's a platform you're headed toward. No pressure at all, just thought it might be useful given where you're at. Good luck with the rest of development!
