Let me know your thoughts on how The Trader looks so far! What do you like about it? What do you think is currently missing? All feedback is welcome!

The new update for The Tunnel has been released! The game is now completely free for anyone to play, but only until the next update.

The next update plans to bring in a VR version of the game, as the inital design of the game was for VR. I've finally got the time to work on bringing the VR version to reality, and so will begin work on the update very soon!

Get the game here!

The Tunnel is a dark horror/simulation game, based on mental health. The idea of the game came from personal experience, along with information from other people. In the game, you are thrown into a dark and cold tunnel, with no end in sight. Along the way you will be greeted with the horrors some people experience with a mental health issue. But, within the darkness, hope can be found in the way of light, and when you manage to find the end, you will be greeted with the light at the end of the tunnel. Just. Keep. Walking.

Again, this game is not something that is designed to be played for fun. It aims to teach understanding, and provide people suffering with proof that they are not alone.

Thanks for the feedback!

- I'll alter the settings to make any tick boxes clear.

- I'll also add a controls tab in the menu.

- I will also look at perhaps making the phone follow the camera.

The next update aims to add more gameplay, further adding to the experience, as the overall aim for the game is to give a small experience of what some people go through.

Sorry about the link, it has been fixed :).

About the way it looks, the fog is intended. I did realise after compiling the footage and making the trailer, that the game might in fact be too dark for those who wish to record it, as everything is darker when it is recorded, and so have upped the brightness for the next update :). The game shouldn't be blurry when actually playing it though :)

The game is intended to be very dark and foggy due to it resembling mental health, however if it still too dark, please let me know and I will probably add in a brightness setting so that people can fine tune to their liking.

I appreciate the feedback :)

Hope you're all having a great day! Yesterday I released a free demo for The Tunnel, in order to show a small part of the game to those interested. Feedback from the demo would be greatly appreciated, as I am constantly working and looking for ways to improve the main game. In its current state, I feel the game has a lot to offer in further updates, and so I hope to hear from you all with any feedback you may have.

Free Demo Release

Seen as the nature of my game is not ordinairy, I figured providing this free demo would a great way for people to have a look at what it is about, and some of the core mechanics.

It is not possible to beat this demo, and a few adjustments from the main game have been made. That being said, the demo is very similar to the current build that is available, but this demo will not be recieving any of the new updates coming to the main game.

This is the official release for a game I have been working on for a while. It is designed to simulate some forms of mental health problems, and is not for everyone. My hope is that this game can shed some light on what living with a mental health problem can be like, and the horrors they can cause.

Check out the game here: The Tunnel

I want to point out that all experiences of mental health are different, and no single person will experience the exact same as another. However, I hope to show some key elements of mental health as a whole, but specifically depression & anxiety, as these tend to be more common.

Updates will be made to the game over time, providing more content, and enhanced systems.

Please feel free to post any bugs or problems that you feel you may have encountered. I will try my best to fix any problems as fast as possible and release a new build straight after.

Here you may request features that you feel will benefit, or improve the game in any way. Please remember, this game is designed to be very difficult, and it is simulating what mental health can be like.
