But still, if that's allowed on the jam, it is strange at least. Basically you can put a game you've worked on for a year, if it fits the theme? (not talking in the context of your game, just interested in general)

Yeah, no problem man. I haven't seen practices like that, so it was a bit strange for me :)
I think it's a bit unfair to others, who made the game entirely in the timeframe of the jam (The GMTK version of the game was made, in 6 days minimum I guess), but that's your choice. There's this GMTK rule, but I don't think it could apply here, so everything is okay, I think ;)

Man, game is very cool, and I liked it on release, but why did you just put it in GMTK jam when it was made 2 mouths ago for another jam...

Thanks! Builders fix broken buildings, and finish unfinished ones (But only when there is enough resources in the blueprint). You can load the resources into the building by pressing RMB on the building, and clicking right button in the UI that appears! Yeah, game is a bit slow at the start, but when you plan your base, and create some more guys, everything goes much faster

Thank you! We fixed the crashes in the post jam version (and guy behaviours), so you can try that if you want :)

We fixed most of the bugs (and softlocks) in the post jam version, so you can try it if you want!

Thank you!

Incredibly fun game! There are a lot of mechanics that work together really well, and main idea is super cool and creative. Art and audio is very good, and they fit the atmosphere really well. Game length is big, but level design keeps you engaged for all levels. There is a lot of room for creating new fun mechanics and levels. The one thing, please, change the font in the death text, it doesn't fit very well... In conclusion, ochen horoshaya rabota, tovarish!

Cool game! I do wish there was some more things in the gameplay (Like the opportunity to construct robots to do the work for you, would fit the theme well) but still plays nice! Liked the dialogues and overall narrative, style is also pretty good

I’m very sorry, in the jam version sleepiness icon doesn’t show up. When people just stand in one place (and don’t even do anything) that means they are tired. As soon as you build at least one house, they will go there, sleep and after that they’ll be ready to work! I’m very sorry for the confusion…

Thank you!

Yeah, we wanted to make an in game tutorial but we really didn't have time in the end... We'll probably release a post jam version with bug fixes first, and then update it with tutorial! (If you want, I can reply to this comment when we release it)

Thank you! Yeah, I agree

Thank you! We'll hopefully release the postjam version today

Thank you! NPCs might have got tired (Tiredness icon doesn't show up in the jam version for some reason, so they'll just stand in one place and do nothing when they are tired), so you'll need to build a house for them to sleep in!

Thank you! Can you tell, what troubles did you have? That would be helpful

Thanks!

Thank you!

Thanks!

Thank you!

Thanks! Yeah, tutorial (and overall structure of the game) was made in quite a rush, so I agree that it might be overwhelming, and there's too much text too. If we someday make a full version, I'll make sure to make game mechanics open up gradually, so it wouldn't be as overwhelming

Thank you! Yeah, the problem with making sprite animations is high amount of card entities we planed to do, it would just take a lot of time to make a special animation for each card. With urls, yeah, we already know about that bug, it happens randomly, but in our case it was always about 2-5 broken links of 12. Combat was faster, but when we were testing, it was just hard to follow what all entities do with high speed. The best option will probably be an in-game slider that adjusts the speed of the game. Thank you again, for such detailed feedback!

You can try this if you’re not busy right now! Would like feedback and constructive criticism ;)

Thank you!

Very good game! It's the type of jam game, that might be not that successful on jam, but has a lot of potential for full game. I would genuinely play this on Steam, if it had more content and polish, also encyclopedia for fusions too.

Thank you! Yeah, they do, and almost all enemies attack, except for the purple ones

Thank you! Your walkthrough was very interesting to watch :)

Thank you!

Thank you! Yeah, we've worked a lot, last day was a rush... About the text, I fully agree!

Thank you! There are some different tactics that make game faster :) For example, you can make a 3 sorcerers deck with a lot of UNO cards, and destroy enemies easily! Also a lot of viruses (passive items) give you antivirus bar, you can build your tactic off that too!

Would be interesting to see this streamed! https://itch.io/jam/shovel-jam-2025/rate/3735195

Thank you very much! Bugged enemy encounter and some links not working are actually bugs :) But I agree that it fits the game atmosphere well
